This book really opened my eyes. It’s extremely informative, logical and has a good flow. I was engaged for the entire book. The Power of Pressure reveals tools and techniques to combat exhaustion and manage pressure. It’s a new perspective on pressure and I felt empowered after I read it. Refreshing to have a book like this during a pandemic. An essential read for anyone. It’s life changing.
An excellent read of how to deal with both short term and long term pressures. What I enjoyed was the stories used to illustrate the points along with practical tips. I find many of these types of books to be difficult to get through, but Dane's writing style is easily relatable. That being said I'm looking forward to a second and more thorough go-through.
A few interesting ideas lost in a haystack of anecdotes, stories and repetitions. Feels like one of those blog posts turned into books. This is not to discount the concepts, but probably just look for a summary and you’ll be fine and save a few hours.
So I found this under a stack of books and started to read again. This book gives you tools to use and you will need time to digest everything as you put the learning into action.
