My class read the whole book.

I quit after 5 or 6 chapters since the small print was tiring (I am nearsighted!!!). There was good and very important information here though.

I have to say, this is the first time I ever read an entire textbook. It was dense but I appreciated how it was edited and the expertise of the authors.
