I’m not really sure where to begin with how epic this story, this trilogy is. I hate that you can’t give a book more than five stars as this book truly deserves quadruple that. Eric and Jane are the kind of characters that imbed themselves into your very heart and your soul. After reading this trilogy, I feel as if I know them like they are real people, as I literally could feel all their emotions. This story will keep you riveted from the very first sentence. It is a brilliant story of how love can prevail, even with all the unbelievable obstacles that get in their way. I guarantee you that your heart will stop, you will cry, you will laugh, you will be angry and you will fall in love with Eric and Jane like I have. There are no true words to describe how much I loved this story and I am in complete awe of this author. She has a way with words that will just blow your mind. Please, please, do yourself a favor and read this book along with the other two books in this series (The Hate Vow and The Kiss Plot). Everyone needs Eric and Jane in their lives.

“Because I really do belong to you.”“No, gorgeous,” Eric corrected her. “We belong to each other.”

I just finished reading The Love Trap, the conclusion of Jane and Eric's story. I've been waiting for this book like a kid waits fro Christmas.

This book is everything I expected and more. First I was a little frustrated at the back and forth in the story but only because I was desperate to know what was gonna happen, because if you read Nicole, you know she really knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat. At the end it was perfect, we learned many things needed to understand the story.

This book has suspense, romantic and sexy moments, frustrations but they are just some of the things that makes it great.

Jane and Eric after many struggles get the Happily Ever After they truly deserve. I've read all of Nicole's books and this series became a Big favorite.

You certainly don't want to miss this one.

This has been a long journey. Considering that we first met Jane and Eric in the first book of the Spitfire Trilogy, and after all their  push and pull backstory -- filled with love, rejection, betrayals and lots of overall sass -- we can absolutely say that this love story has been a  long time in the making, and the ending to this trilogy did not disappoint one bit.

I couldn't wait to dig in, especially since the way the last book left off, and I was hooked from page one and it took me some effort to remember about everyday life obligations because I couldn't wait to read more about what was going to happen. Which is honestly true about this entire series. It was a rollercoaster of emotions, suspense, mystery, and feelings. I loved that we got to see these characters grow through the years, and all the changes they had to go through to get to this spectacular ending.

This was probably the angst-iest instalment of the series and that says a lot considering the level of feels of the previous two books, but I think it really fits the characters because Eric and Jane are poetically beautiful and broken at the same time. Their story at times felt almost like a Grecian tragedy, making me wonder how things could actually be all right in the end, but Nicole did a fantastic job at orchestrating an ending which was beyond satisfactory.

I won't go into the details of the plot because you NEED to experience it firsthand it all of its intensity and raw emotionality. What I will say is that this author has a fantastic way of shaping realistic characters and love stories that are both relatable because of their realness, and at the same time epic and one of a kind.

I have been waiting for the conclusion of Eric & Jane’s story since The Hate Vow, and I was NOT disappointed in the slightest.
A heart stopping journey, not only to find each other, but also to save the world, essentially, and I was riveted from page one.
Jane & Eric’s chemistry is palpable, the love they share is poignant, and their story is a mesh of heartbreak and healing.
I always enjoy the cameos of characters last, and some breadcrumbs were definitely sprinkled about what else would be coming in the future.
As always, French’s characters are well fleshed out, and multi dimensional, and you simply can’t help to love(or hate) them as you encounter all the facets of their personalities.
I highly recommend this trilogy to every one of my reading friends.

All the drama, heartache and passion you can hope for in a book! This is the absolute perfect ending for the series! Just when I’m about to die in a pivotal point in the story - Nicole gives the readers one of the BEST laugh out loud moments (hint: the princess bride)!!! Just adored this book!

I can’t say this enough; 5 stars just doesn’t cut it, there’s nothing to explain the utter beauty of this book! The finale of Jane and Eric’s story will have you in knots, break your heart but in pure Nicole fashion she will rebuild you stronger than ever before! You will feel every emotion that is laced into every word! Nothing will prepare you for this book but it’s everything you’ve ever wanted and the book you didn’t know you needed!

Since the start I knew this trilogy was going to blow me away! The Hate Vow had me giddy and floating on cloud 9 till that ending brought me back down! The Kiss Plot left me breathless and in utter shock but I needed more and The Love Trap definitely delivered and now I will never be the same (I mean that in the best way possible)

If you were waiting for book 3 to binge them all well wait no more. Get on it because you don’t want to miss any of this! If you have yet to start then WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

If y'all have been keeping up with the Quicksilver series than you were exactly like me waiting on freaking pins and needles to get The Love Trap and see how everything plays out with your fingers crossed that it will go your way. Well guess what guys--- it is finally here and it is freaking perfect!

This tension filled series is absolutely epic and not an easy journey for Jane and Eric, because what is the fun in that? But, Nicole French delivers a wonderful conclusion to this trilogy that answers your immediate questions while also maybe setting up for spin offs?! *Fingers crossed*

All in all, I cannot recommend this book (and series) enough! I absolutely loved how complex and real the characters are as well as how intricate the story line is. You must read this!!

PS: Thank you to Nicole French and Wildfire Marketing Solutions for allowing me an ARC to read and review the book in advance and honestly!

Worth the wait! This book is the answer to all our questions we had after the first two. SO MUCH HEART ❤! It was making me ugly cry at the end. I won't lie, you might not want to read this around anyone who might judge you for your tears. These two have taken us on quite the journey. They have struggled, that's what makes you pull for this couple to get the happiness they do richly deserve. This author's style of drawing you in with the way she weaves her tales, she makes you truly feel like you're right there with them. For a minute I was IN Boston. I saw what Eric and Jane saw. It was nothing short of magical. I hope they make an appearance in another book somewhere down the road because I really love the back and forth between pretty girl and Petri dish. Their humor is how I know this couple will go the distance.

For the love of all that is Nicole French awesomeness!!! What the heck did I just read? The conclusion of the Quicksilver trilogy was everything I didn't even know I wanted it to be! I had so many feelings while reading this book! There were some parts that caused some very real physical reactions in me. There was so much suspense in this trilogy and this final book wrapped it all up! My head is still reeling from some of the things that happened.... and let's just say that there were some things that I totally did NOT see coming! All the love for this trilogy. Nicole French's story telling made this conclusion totally worth the wait! Her books are decent length... and yet I almost always mange to finish them in a day! I can not wait to see what she brings us next!!!

Jane and Eric rocked this book and I can’t tell you how content I feel after finally having all my questions answered and seeing the two get their hea. This book and series had me from the first page all the way to the very final page of the series. I can’t recommend this enough as it’s intriguing storyline and phenomenal characters will captivate you. Take all the stars for this book and series! It’s a must read!

It's rare that a book stays with me long after I've read it. I haven't been able to get Eric and Jane's story far from my mind since I finished up book two. I was excited to read the conclusion of the trilogy and finally find out what happened! I feel like I know these two characters, and their trials and tribulations moved me significantly. Without divulging plot spoilers, there are points in the book where I wanted to scream, "No! How could you do that?!" And others where I just wanted to hug them. At the end of the day, it's a brilliant story where these characters earn their HEA.

•••••••••

REVIEW: THE LOVE TRAP is the third (and final ?) instalment in Nicole French’s contemporary, adult QUICKSILVER romantic suspense trilogy focusing newlyweds, attorney and billionaire heir to the De Vries Dynasty Eric de Vries, and attorney Jane Lee Lefferts-de Vries. THE LOVE TRAP should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up immediately after the events and cliff hanger of book two THE KISS PLOT.

WARNING: There are scenes of violence and assault that may not be suitable for more sensitive readers.

Told from first person perspective (Jane Lee Lefferts-de Vries) and third person Eric de Vries using present day and memories from the past, THE LOVE TRAP picks up immediately after the events of book two THE KISS PLOT wherein Eric has been arrested on trumped-up charges, and Jane is heading to Korea to search for her missing mother. Two hundred years of money, power and control by a secret society with connections to the de Vries’ dynasty finds Jane’s life hanging in the balance when Eric refuses to play the game. The oligarch’s have forced their way into the lives of the rich and famous, lives that are threatened and destroyed when rules are broken, and jealousy turns to murder in the blink of an eye.

THE LOVE TRAP is a dramatic story of love and betrayal; vengeance and greed; power, dominance, secrets and lies. Nicole French pulls the reader into a heart breaking, dark and gritty tale of loss and retribution; an intense love story threatened by resentment, spite and the antagonistic but psychotic minds of the powerful few.

...and they lived happily ever after. No seriously, I'm not kidding we get there in the end.

Oh Eric and Jane. Sigh. I can finally breathe in relief that they get their HEA.

I've adored every single book Nicole French has ever released so I knew diving back into this world of Jane and Eric was going to be a joy and filled with turmoil.

This is the conclusion to their story. They've said their vows, they're argued and pushed each other apart, they've build walls and torn them down, they've come together in love and be taken apart in hate.

So, so much has happened and so this story picks up from where we left off in The Kiss Plot. Jane and Eric are a lot stronger in this book. They're a lot more understanding of each other but it doesn't mean things are easy.

With the past still crawling after them, they face harsh decisions, choices and punishments they don't deserve. I hurt a lot reading this story but in the end things work out.

You have to preserve reading this one. It has it signature Nicole French "let me tear your heart out and put it back together" feels that have you craving more.

A must read.

Nicole French's Quicksilver Trilogy took me on an EPIC journey from beginning to end! This final book was phenomenal!!! The continuation of Jane and Eric's story gave me all the feels and it was a perfect way to end the series.

"You are essential to me. Like the air I breathe. The water I drink. I can't fucking exist without you, Jane. Can't. Fucking. Live."

I highly recommend reading this book and the trilogy as a whole! The Love Trap by Nicole French will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ARISTOCRACY!!!

A deliciously satisfying conclusion to the story of Jane and Eric. Again, Nicole has given us characters that are as real as the people we know outside of books and with whom we cry, love, and laugh. Storylines tied up and a few strung along, maybe even some hints at Nicole’s next wonderful adventures. As we have come to expect, NYC and Boston have starring roles in the back story. Highly recommend this series! ❤️

What a way to end the saga....I have waited patiently for the conclusion of Eric and Jane's love story and I was not disappointed in the slightest. This story was filled with drama, corruption, lies, deception and treason. It was on of those books that pick you up, throw you across the floor and then envelop you in warmth and love. Just when you think you know what is in store for the characters Nicole French pulls the rug out and you are left in awe. 5 stars are not enough!!

My heart!!! What the hell did Nicole French do to me? Where is my soul. No, it has been devoured whole by The Love Trapped. Trapped. Confined in powerful words that slayed me. Hold my phone, The Love Trap absolutely wrecked me. My poor heart and soul has been captured. Wow, Nicole French, you are freaking brilliant. Your words echo a beautiful tune in my heart. Your characters tell stories that smash and entice me. The Love Trap is an incredible book with vivacious storyline that stripped every single of my emotions. Every word was told an exciting story that swept me away. Nicole French is a brilliant storyteller who brings stories with so much passion and heart. Damn, I am a goner. And I probably need a drink. Hahaha.

The Quicksilver series has made me a fan of Nicole French. This series made me a prisoner and hooked my heart with captivating words that exploded. Now, the Quicksilver series ends with a tantalizing conclusion to a heart inducing story. The Love Trap is the thrilling finale to a special series that holds dear to my heart. Man, I am still in a book coma because of The Love Trap. My heart latched onto an explosive book with a fast paced story and scorching characters that delivered. The Love Trap just absolutely hoodwinked me. Nicole French put her heart and soul in this book. I could feel her emotions written in words that moved me. I could feel it in her characters that touched my inner soul. Angsty. Heart Burning. The Love Trap is soul searing book with a roller coaster of emotions, nail biting suspense, soul baring love and inextinguishable passion. I am deeply in love with The Love Trap. One magical story that twisted and turned my heart.

Eric and Jane are truly my soul couple. Their journey of love is not easy at all. That’s why I love them. You see a couple with so much trials and obstacles, but still grow throughout the series. I truly adored them. I kinda feel so emotional because this is my last time reading about them. I wanna cry. Lol, I know they are fictional but Eric and Jane held a piece of my heart. I 100% connected to them on a deeper level.

This is my first series by Nicole French and it’s not going to be my last. I loved every moment and I am totally ready for more from Nicole French.

Im not sure where to start with this review so I apologize if my thoughts are a scattered mess! Let me start by saying that once I started reading I couldn't put this book down and when I had to adult I constantly had these characters on my mind and an ache in my chest wondering what was going to happen to Jane and Eric. I have read every one of Nicole's books and loved them, but Jane and Eric are my absolute favorite. Whether it was their fun, sarcastic banter, their constant bickering or their love for each other I connected with them. They were a real life, genuine couple I could relate with. I laughed with them at their jokes and cried with them through their heartache, betrayal and violation. Nicole French writes more than a romance book, she writes a well thought out novel with so many loving, sexy, tragic, suspenseful, mysterious, educational, current event layers. Some people may not like the depth and extras that go beyond the love story, but I definitely appreciate the effort she puts into her books. It was very evident in this book, the entire Quicksilver series. I can't say enough great things about this book/series! You will love all the ups and downs that are Jane and Eric!!

***ARC received in exchange of an honest opinion***

The Love Trap starts right after The Kiss Plot ends and it was a rollercoaster ride! I mentioned before how Nicole French completely changed the story, it became more than it was in the first book and the third, and final book, is the culmination of that.

I really like what Nicole French did with this story. Eric and Jane go through a LOT in this installmente. The Love Trap was a very intense read. This one truly got me on the edge of my sit and ready to throw my kindle at some of the characters.

The mystery around the story is finally unraveled for real and I liked how real the story felt. We could definitely experience what the characters did and Jane and Eric's trauma definitely reached out of the book, their pain was palpable and we could feel as much as they were feeling. It was definitely an easily-relatable read.

As I mentioned before, Jane's jokes and sense of humor got to me too much at some points. Less in this book than in the first too, but some felt a bit inapropriate for me at some scenes.

I also would have liked a bit more in the ending. For me it needed a bit more of a development towards the epilogue. It does seem to have an extra one on the author's website, but I'm not a fan of those. I prefer them to be in the book. I don't always need an epilogue, but when it's there, I like a more complete and fullfilling one.

Other than that, I really liked this trilogy and Nicole definitely hooked me with her writing, from the start. This book was filled with action, but it also has romance and I love that mixture.
It will definitely catch your attention.

What an epic finale to the trilogy! It was a roller coaster of just about everything and I loved it.

Jane and Eric's story has been anything but typical and easy and I've enjoyed reading every single one of them. Eric and Jane had just about every obstacle thrown in their way but they still prevailed.

Their journey is filled with suspense, heartbreak, twists and so much angst as you are drawn in and believe that you are living the lives of these two enthralling characters with them.

This story will definitely make you feel, and it will stay with you long after you turn the last page. Nicole French's story telling made this conclusion totally worth the wait! This series was my first by this author and definitely won't be my last, that's for sure.

The perfect ending to the Quicksilver Trilogy. Please make sure you read the first two books in the series before diving into this story.

Nicole French has a way with writing that leaves you perched on the edge of your seat. You NEED to know what happens next. It’s not just a want, but a need.

We finally got a happy ending for Eric and Jane. It came with many dead ends and fresh starts and angst and drama, but we got there.

A great ending to a great series.

If you thought that the first two books were good, think twice because this last instalment is way better than expected.
We get so much more from their past as a lot of answers for the unanswered questions in the previous books.
This one is more raw, more angsty and suspenseful than anything else and it also deals with a difficult topic that the author has done it perfectly.
Can’t recommend this book enough really.

A fantastic ending to the series!

I loved every emotional twist and turn of this book! My heart literally broke for Jane and Eric and what they went through. I loved getting Eric's point of view after they came back from their horrible ordeal. You could feel how helpless he felt when it came to Jane. The fact that they went to hell and back and made it out stronger together, shows how real their relationship is.

I can't wait for more with Zola and Nina. 😏

I wish I could give this book more than 5 stars.
