The Love Game #1

Never Have You Ever

Rate this book
Who is this guy?

Sophia Mason’s junior year of college isn’t exactly off to the best start. The semester has just begun, and the president of her sorority has already ousted her from the house. With nowhere else to turn, she ends up at her brother’s apartment—only to find it inhabited instead by a handsome stranger.

On paper, Drew Nolan doesn’t have much going for him as an uneducated bartender from a sketchy family. But when a spoiled rich kid asks Drew to take over his life so he can travel around Europe instead of attend classes, Drew sees the opportunity to get the college education he’s always dreamed of.

Forced into a cover-up under the same roof, Sophia and Drew forge an unlikely friendship. As the two grow closer, lines blur and boundaries stretch, and they find comfort in living the lie they’ve adopted. But reality comes knocking all too soon, and Sophia and Drew will have to weigh what’s worth fighting for and what should never ever have been.

Elizabeth Hayley is actually “Elizabeth” and “Hayley,” two friends who love reading romance novels to obsessive levels. This mutual love prompted them to put their English degrees to good use by penning their own. They learned a ton about each other through the process, like how they clearly share a brain and have a persistent need to text each other constantly. They live with their husbands and kids in a Philadelphia suburb. Thankfully, their children are still too young to read.

Absolutely brilliant!
Firstly, this is book one of The Love Game series a new series by Elizabeth Hayley and what an amazing start it was. I have been a fan of these two authors for some time now. I love their rom-com romance most. They always write witty, fun and really enjoyable characters and plots and Never Have You Ever was all those things and more.

Sophie has some sass on her, she's feisty and fun and I found myself connected to her from the start. She was kicked out of her sorority house for breaking one rule and finds herself at her brothers' apartment with nowhere else to go. But it wasn't her brother that answered the door, it was Drew, someone impersonating her brother so he didn't have to go to school, instead, her brother was off travelling and it worked out well because it means Drew could get the education he wanted.

Drew and Sophie end up agreeing to keep pretending that Drew is her brother and they go to school and live as if he was. Drew helps her come up with a plan to try and get her place back in the sorority house, but it doesn't go as plan and it ends up causing even more trouble and as the story begins to unfold, Sophie and Drew start to develop a bond, and start to develop feelings they should be having for one another but the chemistry between them has only been intensifying as the story progressed and they can't help these feelings as they only get stronger...

I loved this. Rom-com's are not really my kind of reads. I do enjoy them here and there, but I usually am on the darker side of romance, however, when it comes to these two authors and their amazing ability to tell a story that grabs hold of my heart, makes me swoon and laugh-out-loud and this was no exception. This was an incredible start to what promises to be an amazing series of books! As always these authors deliver a fun, light-hearted, steamy, laugh-out-loud romance that had me smiling, laughing and swoony throughout. I can't wait for book two!

5 Stars
I highly recommend starting this series!

Ever since I read this author duo’s Misadventure books, I have been hooked on them! Their style and voice for romantic comedies are my jam! They are never silly or OTT but always pack a good amount of humor. I actually read this book a little over three weeks ago (I know, shocking that it slipped my mind to review but here we are) and as I sit here putting together my highlights and notes for a review I find myself laughing and smiling like a lunatic just as I was when I read this story!

You guys, the premise of this story is absolute genius. They hooked me from the meet-cute and I just did not stop enjoying myself until I had no more words. And you know what the best part was? When I tell you that New Adult shenanigans were running amok, I’m not playing but, holy mother of gawd, I enjoyed every one! When does that happen with me? Never, that’s when. LOL This book is like one elaborate game of guess who or maybe clue? I dunno, I’m too old but I just know I loved it and that’s a rarity for me, especially with New Adult. If you follow my reviews, you’re familiar with my opinion of this age group … ice pick to the eyeballs people!! But these kids, they were fun and I want to be their friend!

Now I get to tell you the not so fun for me part … The ending. Let me be clear, I enjoyed every single word of this story, even the ending or shall I say pause / cliffhanger, I just did not know this was the type of book to have that kind of ending and I didn’t appreciate that. You guys moving forward won’t have that issue because there’s more information out there now about this book and future books in this series, but I didn’t have that and if I’m being 100% honest, when aspects of a book are not fully disclosed to the reader, it makes me #twitchy and I don’t like it. Do with that information what you will …

[Thanks Netgalley for the ebook. This review is my honest opinion but just another opinion, you should read this book and judge it by yourself]

I really enjoyed this book. It was a fast fun read and the characters were funny and real. I loved the mess they created of their lives and the closeness it brought them. I have already recommended it to my sister who loves reading as much as I do.

Review by Trinette Dungee

Sophia Mason has been exiled from her sorority house. The guy she was tutoring fell asleep in her room and there’s a “Strict”, no guys in the house overnight rule that not everyone follows, including the sorority president who kicked her out. She heads over to her older brother’s apartment, unannounced, to hopefully crash with him. When she gets there the guy that opens the door claims to be Brody Mason, but he is most definitely not her brother! Her brother Brody has done some pretty outlandish things but having this guy, Drew, pose as him to take his classes while he hangs out in Italy takes the cake. Sophia can’t out Brody to her parents without outing herself about being kicked out of the sorority house, be it a BS reason or not. To keep everyone’s secret Sophia and Drew decide to keep the charade up for the remainder of the semester until her brother returns.

Drew Nolan has always wanted to do better than settle the way his parents and siblings have. He’s always wanted to go to college and possibly open his own bar one day. While those goals might not be the pinnacle of success, it’s his dream. When entitled, and wealthy Brody offers his apartment for free in exchange for Drew to attend his classes while he hangs out in Europe, Drew sees it as the opportunity of a lifetime. Brody’s a business major, and while he won’t gain a degree in the end Drew sees this as a way to get some business knowledge under his cap for free. Win-win!!! Until Sophia shows up and puts everything at risk.

As the weeks go on Sophia is determined to make it back into the sorority house, continues to tutor Carter (the one who fell asleep. Did I mention president of the sorority has a major crush on him and he hasn’t given her the time of day? Hence the real reason Sophia was kicked out of the house), Drew/Brody organizes a study group, Sophia’s childhood friend Taylor comes for a visit, and they all become a merry band of misfits that have all made it a mission to help Sophia back into the house. All the while no one knows that Drew isn’t Brody (except Taylor), and Sophia and Drew are becoming increasingly physically attract to each other. Can we see where this is going? Enter Angst…sigh

To say this book gave me anxiety is an understatement. The level of stress I endured at waiting for these two to get caught was enough to make me drink (or at least indulge in some other sort of recreation that is now legal in some states), to calm my nerves. I like my stories with low angst, and this was anything but! However, I loved it!

I loved every character in this book, even the horrible Aamee, (the way she spells her name alone is enough to make you want to trip her), but she was written perfectly! The banter was there, the humor was there, the chemistry was there so this book checked off a lot of boxes. I would like to have gotten more intel on Drew’s family, but I think that might come up later as this appears to be the first book in a series. With that being said, the ending was my least favorite thing and that’s all I’m going to say about it (no spoilers for you). I’m curious to see if there will be any stories for the real Brody, Carter, Toby, Taylor, and most definitely if there will be an ignition/explosion between Aniyah and Xander (there was some chemistry there…albeit denied chemistry, but chemistry non the less).

I’m definitely interested in reading more from these authors.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

What's a girl to do when she has been kicked out of her sorority house because the guy she was tutoring fell asleep in her room. Accidents happen but boy her sorority doesn't see it that way since they have a very strict no guys in the house overnight rule that they all have to follow. She finds herself kicked out and needs a place to stay. Thank goodness her brother has an apartment and she can go there till she can figure out what to do. To Sophia's surprise thought it isn't her brother but a stranger named Drew Nolan living in her brother's apartment. He is a bartender who always wanted to do better and get an education so when Sophia's brother made a deal that he would travel Europe and not go to classes Drew is more than thrilled to get the education he desperately wanted and save Drew from anyone knowing that he is out traveling across Europe. This is a story of a merry band of misfits as more characters are added to the story who are happily playing into the story of Drew being Brody while an attraction begins to grow between Sophia and Drew. This is a cute story that will kind of stress you out waiting on everything to blow up in all their faces. You have to read to find out what and if this happens. This was a cute story that I enjoyed reading.

Never Have You Ever is a college romance with a twist. It is intriguing, sexy, and humorous.

Sophia is entering her junior year in college and the drama is already beginning. From the very first chapter, we meet her sorority's president, Aamee. She is the worst. Sophia's best guy friend spends the night in her room and Aamee uses that to get her kicked out the sorority house. She packs and heads to her brother's apartment hoping that he will let her crash there. But when she knocks on the door, a sexy guy named Drew opens the door. That's when things start to get interesting.

Drew is a bartender who met Sophia's brother, Brody, at the bar. They made a deal; Drew would pretend to be Brody and attend college while Brody traveled Europe. Drew never had the means to go to college and further his education so jumps at the chance. Everything was going as planned until he met Sophia.

Drew and Sophia agree to be roommates and go along with the charade. As the book goes on, readers will see the amazing chemistry the two share. And it becomes harder to keep up the brother/sister act.

I give Never Have You Ever 5 stars. I always look forward to reading Elizabeth Hayley because their writing is so sexy and fun. They set up this series perfectly. Sophia and Drew share so many funny, unexpected, and witty moments that will make readers fall in love with the characters quickly. There is a cliffhanger that made my mouth drop. Why did you have to do that to me, ladies. LOL I am so anxious to read the rest of the books. Good thing readers don't have to wait too long for the upcoming books.

I started this book excepting little to nothing. All I wanted was a fun and cute lovestory and that is exactly what I got and so much more.

I love the characters so much. Sophia was funny, loveable and flawed. Drew was amazing, nice, honest. I could go on and on how much I enjoyed those people. I felt like I would be great friends with them. All the side characters were great, too. The "bad ones" also had a good side, just like in real life where no one is solely good or bad, (even when Sophia wasn't able to see that some of the time...).

The book really sucked me in. The writing was clean and enjoyable. While reading I got into a flow and it was hard to stop and do stuff. If I had the time I'd read it completely in one sitting.

The end was mean! If you want to read this book, be aware, there is a HUGE cliffhanger and I'm mad I don't have the next two books on my TBR and have to get to some other books before I can continue, but I definetly will.

Sophia Mason
Drew Nolan (Brody Mason)

Being kicked out of her sorority house, for having her tutoring student fall asleep in her room, Sophia had no choice by to go stay at her brothers.

Drew was impersonating Brody, so Brody didn't have to go to school, and could galavant all over Europe, and Drew could get the college education he so desperately wanted.

When Sophia arrived at Brody's, Drew pretended he was Brody, not knowing that Sophia was his sister, until the gig was up.

Time passed, things changed with Sophia and the sorority, and Drew as Brody. Wanna know what happens? Just read Never Have You Ever, to find out, then continue the story with, Truth or Dare You.

Elizabeth Hayley always does a good job to keeping you guessing. Stay tuned to find out what happens next.

I would rate this book 3/5 stars. Thank you Waterhouse Press, Waterhouse Press LLC, and NetGalley for giving me access to an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Never Have You Ever is about Sophia Mason and Drew Nolan pretending to be Sophia’s brother, Brody Mason. The story is dual-POV. When Sophia is kicked out of her sorority house over a technicality, she goes to stay with her brother Brody, only to find that there’s an attractive guy claiming to be her brother inhabiting his apartment. Drew is posing as Brody while Brody is off adventuring his way through Europe. Drew sees this as an opportunity to take some college classes and move out of his parent's house for a bit.
Not going to lie this book just overall wasn’t for me. I feel like there are so many ways these characters could’ve explained how they knew each other without it seeming like incest. They could have just said that they met and happen to have the same last name. I don’t know. The story felt janky to me and I didn’t like how Drew pretended to be gay to avoid girls hitting on him. It felt icky and like a cheap cop-out. There were parts of the book that I liked. The first half had me sucked in and binge-reading, but I think the spice/the fact that they wanted to hook up was hyped up so much that when the actual spice ended up being “fade to black” I was just disappointed.

Never Have You Ever sucked me in from the very beginning and I loved every single moment of this story.

After breaking a rule at her Sorority, Sophia was kicked out and went to go stay with her brother. However, when she showed up at his apartment the man living there was not her brother. Drew has an opportunity to experience college that he otherwise wouldn’t have if it weren’t for Brody, however, when his sister Sophia shows up to stay that can potentially change everything.

I loved Sophia and Drew’s relationship. There was an attraction from the moment they first met, however, with them pretending to be siblings to their friends and the entire school they couldn’t do much about that. However, you can only deny chemistry for so long. Their relationship wasn’t easy from the start and was full of ups and downs, but I loved them both. Drew was supportive of Sophia when it came to getting her back into the Sorority house and Sophia was supportive of Drew when it came to school and his job.

I wasn’t expecting this book to end on a cliffhanger and my jaw was on the floor when I got to the end. I was yelling at my kindle wanting more because it couldn’t just end where it did.

Never Have You Ever is a MUST READ switch and bait romance that will leave you feeling all sorts of emotions.

“𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘸𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘺-𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘰𝘶𝘵.”

Sophia gets kicked out of her sorority house for breaking a rule and ends up having to move into her brother’s apartment, only it isn’t her brother that answers the door.

No the man who answers the door, definitely isn’t her brother.  Hunky Drew in fact agreed to pretend to be her brother Brody while he goes off travelling.

Sophie and Drew live and go to college together all the time pretending to be brother and sister.  Drew helps Sophie come up with a plan to try and get back into the Zeta Eta Chi sorority house.  The plan causes chaos, trouble and sees the pair growing closer and developing feelings that they shouldn’t be having.

“𝘐 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥𝘯’𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘐 𝘥𝘰 𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘐’𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨"

I like these two, they are fun, sassy and have great chemistry. Sophie gets them into some really funny and awkward situations and Drew just goes along with it.  Neither one wants to be caught out about pretending to be siblings, everything is at stake.  All of this makes the book a really fun and enjoyable read.  I ready it fairly quickly as it flowed well.

Elizabeth Hayley’s joint writing is brilliant, but the cliffhanger at the end is a killer.  Please don’t make us wait too long for the next book.

There's a lot I liked about this book. I like our main characters. I didn't mind the switching perspectives. I like their relationship and their friends. I do kinda think Drew as a townie bartender should have some friends of his own. When you assess the book, he literally has no friends who aren't barflies. He has a study group that he picks out like a savant, but he doesn't have anyone to hang out with. It's kind of amazing considering that he's so personable. Almost like he should have been less personable and that might have been a barrier to their friendship. Speaking of the relationship between Sophia and Drew, I have pretty much nothing negative to say about it. Drew was a little too friendly but I already mentioned that. They grow realistically from tolerating to unexpected friends to flutters and romance.

But why is so much of the book dedicated too the fake-incestual relationship. On one hand it's pretty straight forward. We're pretending to be brother and sister but we're not and we get along REALLY well and we're both super attractive and super nice. I get WHY they're into each other. I don't get why they struggle to keep their relationship in the four walls they share that no one will see them in. Reading this I kept expecting the reveal to happen when someone walked into the house and caught them. That they each have a study group with strangers coming into their home, made it more likely. Instead well without spoiling it the inevitable "you're dating that one?" moment. It happens outside their home in a manner I predicted almost immediately when I predicted it would happen.

Once the outing happens and people realize they're dating, there's the mad dash to cover up part of the story and this part of the story is TERRIBLE. There's just far too much incest-panic for what I expected from this book.

Then there's the regressive aspects. That "Hey girl, you're even more beautiful without all that foul tasting makeup on your face" scene

There's a primary plot where Sophie gets kicked out of her sorority and to get back in she had to throw a benefit party. This party is something she'll be judged on, in part, based on how much money she raises for charity (I'm struggling not to go into why I find these selfish donations to charity frustrating). Her struggle is that her party is going to be shortly after her rivals party and they have to come up with a party idea that's attractive to people who already spent money on a party so recently. Then in another scene, that seems like it's going to call out how sexist bachelor auctions are by having a character point it out and then having Sophie agree, turns around and suggest that if we have a pretense of using them for their skills that would completely ameliorate the sexism, after of course she handwaves some nonsense about people thinking black and white parties are racist. It's such a weird turn of events that didn't need to happen. The bachelor auction is an interesting enough idea. Why point out how sexist it is, only to do it anyway? It feels like the author is trying to have their cake and eat it too. They want to be able to acknowledge the sexism in the common tropes of this genre but they also want to use the familiarity of the common tropes of this genre.

Everything related to the incest story-line is frustrating and annoying but everything regarding the relationship between our leads is actually fun. Until our ending. The coda is just plain stupid. Everyone in it is stupid. Everyone reading it stupid. I'm not an exception. It hurt my brain. From the father offering "four hundred"? only for that to be FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND!! That is not traditional "stay away from my daughter" money. I knew they were wealthy but who drops a blank check for that much on a whim. Then there's the girl character who in spite of being heavily in love yesterday preparing to discuss the relationship status and comes back, after her father has "had the talk", to someone who is clearly pushing her away. Her conclusion? Oh he would never let my father break us up. Therefore he must not want me anymore. Who are these insipid females characters? Why is it that female characters must be without an ounce of backbone or faith when it comes to romance? It's just plain silly. I highlight the term "female characters" to emphasize that the women I know in real life (some of them smart, some of them kinda ditzy) would never act this way over something so obvious. Just utterly giving up after ALL that effort? I've known some shallow women who will drop a dude over basically nothing. But I've never seen one put that much effort into a dude and then he basically shrugs and she runs to a corner to cry.

I could have done without the cliffhanger ending. That's straight out of the TV show which this story felt like it was supposed to be originally. I know endings are hard as an author, but just give me an ending. ANY ending. On top of that the next book SKIPS OVER IT. There's an 'incident' at the end of the book and in the next book we open past that incident with everyone pretending they aren't in love with each other and that the incident didn't change everything.

I really want to give this a two out of five rating but I love the cover a lot (and not in a sexual way, I just think it's fun), I love the premise a lot (if not everything they did with it) and I like the main characters for 60-70% of the book. Heck they didn't even make the extra male character gay to explain why he doesn't hit on his tutor (Looking at you I Love You, Beth Cooper, 2009. A movie that had the potential to be an excellent Teen Romance not quite sex comedy but was ruined by the lack of bravery in story telling. Ruining both the main character and his best friend. Resulting in a movie with a promising concept that is so forgettable that I've seen it three times each time forgetting how utterly disappointed I get watching it.) who doesn't charge him a penny ever. He just ended up being a decent guy who happened to be dumb and weirdly loyal, SCARILY so. That's worth at least a star by itself.

I’m so excited that I was chosen to receive an ARC of Never Have You Ever by Elizabeth Hayley. They have been raving about this upcoming release for quite some time and readers should definitely feel the same way.
This is the story of Sophia Mason and Drew Nolan. Sophia goes to her brother, Brody’s, apartment to seek refuge after her Zeta Eta Chi sorority kicks her out of the house. When she arrives at the apartment, she doesn’t find Brody, but some guy impersonating him. Sophia ends up playing along pretending Drew is her brother Brody. Of course, chaos ensues in many forms with parties, mishaps, and fun.
Yes, this book does end on a cliffhanger, which people will either love or despise. I personally don’t mind cliffhangers as they give me more reason to read the next book in the series (which the author wants). Thankfully, they’ve already released that 2 more books will follow this one. Waiting with anticipation on their release.
Elizabeth Hayley are a fantastic duo. I’ve read several of their books. As always, these girls didn’t disappoint with a fun and quirky read. Love them and this book!

How could you??
I'm livid right now -
I am not even sure where to direct my anger.
The author or a certain member of the cast?
How. Could. You??

For 98% of this story, I was laughing, exploring, being a part of something new. Having the time of my life. Heck, I even felt a little nostalgic watching Sophia and Drew and the other members of their little band of wayward misfit students testing the waters called life, sampling all the possibilities before them. Some left them with a bit of a WTH did I hangover and others with the feeling they could take on the world.
Then you did this...

By the way, this ends on a cliffy and if you are anything like me you will most likely find yourself a touch torn at the end. Especially after you became extremely attached to all the wonderful characters in this modern breakfast club.

I found the cast easy to connect with on a personal level which resulted in bouts of laughter at their ridiculous antics, merriment at their small accomplishments as they slowly discovered all the possibilities that life afforded them, and a painful sense of loss when fate intervened so callously.

I'm going to take a moment to decompress
I'll be back to complete my thoughts ...

Hang in there Sophie
Pops your an arse!
Carter, I absolutely adore you!
Drew you are funny, intelligent, and worth more than you believe
and Xander you devilishly smart young man I do so hope we get your story
To the rest of the crew, I also look forward to meeting you on a more personal level

Overall this is an enjoyable start to a new series.
Wonderful characters -
Those that we get to know I do wish we knew a bit more about some of the antagonists but I think that was done with intention.
Easy to follow storyline that provided a strong overall emotional connection
The copy I read was comp.

Imagine Sophia's surprise when she arrives at her brothers apartment after getting booted out of her sorority house only to find some random guy claiming to be her brother! Turns out her party boy brother has hightailed it to travel the world while he gets bartender Drew to pose as him and maintain his grades.

••

As the two fake their way as siblings Drew helps Sophia win back her place at the sorority. With staying together and working close together feelings begin to brew between Sophia and Drew but the question is how will they maintain their sibling facade while exploring their feelings for each other all while having to deal with the sorority president from hell?

••

This book was amazing, my only hold up from giving it a full 5 is that it ended in a cliffhanger! I absolutely detest cliffhangers and we were left wanting out HEA while wondering what the hell just happened? But nevermind that, I loved both Soph and Drew and their covert relationship. This entire story had me hooked right from the beginning. There were loads of laugh out load moments that were just priceless, like Soph making Drew gay just so she didn't have to deal with her sisters chasing after him only to blow up her own plan.

••

I do have to say that I loved all the secondary characters in this book and that they formed their own quirky little group of misfits who added a load of dimension to the story. Overall Never Have You Ever was a cute comical read that had me entertained from start to finish now I absolutely need to know how Drew and Sophia's story ends!

Sophie was ready to embrace the college experience to the fullest and that included being part of a sorority however she is about to find out that the same rules aren’t applied equally when she finds herself without a place to stay. Although staying with her brother wouldn’t have been her first choice it may now be her only choice however when she shows up at his door secrets are about to be exposed.

Drew has been living Sophie’s brother Brody’s life as it helps both of them achieve their dreams. Brody gets the freedom to travel while Drew gets the college education he wouldn’t have been able to get otherwise. When Sophie comes crashing into his life, he just needs to convince her to keep the secret.

When you combine two partners in crime, humorous interactions and hot chemistry it is only a matter of time before things are about to get complicated. The fun begins and now we just need to see where it leads.

Sophia Mason is part of the Zeta Eta Chi sorority and things are going good until she is kicked out of the house because Carter, the boy she is helping fell sleep in her room. The sorority has rules against that and Aamee, the president makes sure Sophia is punished because of her breaking the rules.
Sophia goes to stay at her brother’s apartment to get there and find someone impersonating him. She finds out Brody and Drew came up with a plan so Brody could be off in Italy and Drew would take his classes and pretend to be him. It was a win for both boys as Drew wanted to go to college but couldn’t afford it.
Sophia and Drew have to keep of the charade of Drew being Brody but things get complicated when feelings emerge between them while Sophia trying to run for president of the sorority to get Aamee out.

Fun-loving, light-hearted read

Elizabth Hayley, two authors who definitely know how to combine their talents and write some wonderful stories. NEVER HAVE YOU EVER is a fun-loving, light-hearted read that will tickle your funny bone.

Having been kicked out of her sorority for breaking a long standing rule, Sophie Mason has no other choice but to go to her brother to find help. What she finds there is not her brother Brody, but another person pretending to be him, Drew Nolan. Sophie is a wonderful character, she's sassy, feisty and determined. Drew is just as awesome, he's caring, loving and just wants to improve himself so that he can have a better life.

Sophie decides to go along with the ruse that her brother and Drew have worked out between them. However, going along with the ruse places Sophie in the middle of some chaos and mayhem, as the result of a presidential campaign, parties and numerous mishaps, all leading to some laugh out loud moment and some drama. In amongst all of this Sophie and Drew have begun to develop feelings toward one another, will they be able to keep these to themselves or will they be found out by others?

This book does end on a cliffhanger, which will definitely tease readers. Thankfully book two, Truth Or Dare You, is not too far away.

Read and Reviewed for Reading Is Our Satisfaction

Absolutely loved everything about this book and CANNOT wait for the next one!!!!!

Sophia and Drew were thrown into a unexpected life together and how they go about it leaves you absolutely breathless and satisfied... but will it be able to work out? They’ve told a web of lies and there doesn’t seem to be a way out of them without ruining everything!!!!

But I have to tell you, I laughed out loud at this book, and turned those pages devouring every single page.

Definitely 5 stars! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Sassy comedy at its finest! Never Have You Ever is the perfect mix of enemies to lovers and mistaken identity. I was expecting a quick light-hearted comedy, but was pleasantly surprised with a little drama and shocked when I reached the end! I stayed up reading this is one sitting and then was happily surprised when Truth or Dare You appeared on my Kindle the next day! Such an amazing new series from a wonderful duo and I can't wait to see what comes next for Drew and Sophia!!!

Sophia was just being a good person, helping a jock named Carter study in her room at her Sorority House...innocent in falling asleep... until Aamee, the President of the Sorority calls her out, making a spectacle, accusing them of spending the night together and evicts Sophia out of the house. With nowhere to go, she goes to her somewhat estranged brother Brody's apartment to find a place to crash, who happens to be attending her college since the eternal party boy was bounced from his last college. Image Sophia's surprise when a gorgeous hunk of man answers the door, claiming to be Brody. She finds out Brody is traipsing around Europe, letting fake Brody (Drew) take his place, apartment and his classes. Since this her only option till she can get herself back into the sorority house... she has to share the apartment with Drew. From there, all kinds of antics occur, one crazy or aggravating calamity after the other, with Sophia finding herself more and more drawn to Drew (who she has told others he is gay to leave him alone). You will gut laugh and ugly cry, rooting for Sophia and Drew to have their hearts desires... do they get their wishes... stay tuned.
