The Vampire Eirik

Rate this book
Readers say they’re “riveted” by “drama” and “exquisite sexual tension”. And the best part? The Vampire Eirik is yours for just 99 cents.

For Peter, a young, carefree engineering student, Norway means a chance for a better financial future — and the opportunity to see a beautiful landscape of fjords, primeval forests, and windswept peaks. A friendly vampire on the other hand — that’s just an unexpected perk.

Yet the landscape conceals a darkness, a hidden ferocity: nature is older than man, and it does not always welcome him. To survive, Peter will have to rely on Eirik. But Eirik is still a vampire, and nature always wins in the end…

A tale of friendship, intimacy and magic, the Vampire Eirik is a short story that’s perfect for bedtime reading.

What a fantastic short story. Eirik is sweet and thoughtful while looking out for Peter. Their survival instincts were all over the place while wandering around and trying to survive the difficulties they faced. I enjoyed the sexual tension between the characters, it was exquisite. That sweet, yet steamy ending was great. Very entertaining read.

Summary:
Peter came to Norway to find a better life, but he never expected to meet or befriend a vampire, Eirik. The chance meeting in a bar opens a new world of wonder and friendship for both of them. Eirik may live within the human world, but for all intense purposes he remains apart until the two meet. For the first time Eirik finds someone who accepts him for who he is, even his vampire abilities.

This story takes place in the beautiful and timeless country of Norway. The majestic landscape brings the story to life as Peter and Eirik struggle to survive in a land that while beautiful can be unforgiving to anyone not strong enough to withstand the seasonal dangers. I was riveted to the drama and their love book as the story unfolded. It is my hope that their story has just begun.

DNF @ 2%.

From the author’s note: Anyway, have a nice read. If you find it boring, well… go shoot someone, okay?

I don’t know if that’s supposed to be funny? But it’s not. Straight to the DNR.

This novie was super cute! Two friends, Peter and Eirik get trapped in the mountains during a sudden snow storm and must rely on the strength of each other to survive.

The friendship these guys have is unique as one is human and the other vampire, one bi-sexual and the other straight, they love and respect each other as only true friends can. Peter, the human keeps Eirik's vampirism a secret so he can stay safe in the human world.

I enjoyed the back and forth banter between the two characters very much. How each brought their own brand of strength to aid and protect the other and themselves while out in the wild.

This was a wonderful story about love and friendship set in the ancient wilds of a snow laden Norway making for the perfect landscape to tell a tale of survival not just of the body but of the heart.💗

Well done, Stargazer! Well done!

Short love story about a European college kid falling for a bi-sexual vampire. We get to know more about these vampires, their abilities and their compassion. No epic battles, no other monsters or vampires, just two guys and the story of how they met, survived in the wilderness and fell in love. Love stories aren’t my thing but it was quick and interesting read so I gave it 4 stars
