Stunning stills only begin to capture the ethereal , serene elegance of Mori's installation and performance art. I have fortuantely seen her work on video and the effect of light and color and transparent enclosures and weightlessness and opulence was especially inspiring in the early 90s. At a time when we (humanity) were embarking on the future, Mori creates a very becoming image of otherworldly habitats. However, despite the tranquil surface, a tulmultuousness rustles beneath the calm giving each image a mysterious, penetrating and effervescent quality.

Plus, I especially liked the bubbles!
