it’s rare that i hate the girl… but she gave me the ick!!! she was so desperate & CLINGY AF! not a chance in hell would u see me chasing a guy in the same creepy stalkerish way she did!!! also, I hope James gets a happy ending, he deserves nothing but the best & that is not emily!!

First things first; I really like the cover of this book!
Only his is book one in the first loves duet series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Emily has had a crush on her father’s best friend for years. Over the years she did her best to get his attention until he moved away. Years later and Emily is trying to get her man to notice her but will it work?
The chemistry between Emily and David is clear to see and I loved them as a couple. I just wish that there were a few more scenes of them officially together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

Wow I am so excited that Mia Madison is back writing and publishing again! This was an adorable little story of slow burn/ instalove that had to wait. Older man/ younger woman dad's beat friend. A beautiful Happily Ever After.
Completely safe and free of any kind of abuse, no cheating. Virgin Heroine celibate hero.
