With Morgan’s exuberance, their friends interfering, and Grant’s own mistakes constantly impeding his relationship with Robert, it becomes clear that Grant’s either going to have to give up or throw caution to the wind.

Grant finds his destiny in Maine !

What a delightful M/M romance ! Grant is a French Canadian, living in Chicago, but not for long. He wants a change, so he heads for Maine’s coast. He stays at a B&B, run by Robert and his young daughter, Morgan. She’s a
smart and savvy little girl. More and more, Grant falls for Robert and Morgan. We see a wonderful batch of characters, some bad guys, and a fascinating tale.

Robert comes with some heavy baggage in his past, and Grant is finding the village inviting. Morgan captures Grant’s heart, as did Robert, but Robert is stubbornly refusing Grant’s money to save his business. Grant works on a boat at times, and makes a circle of friends.
Soon, after arguing, Grant is leaving to stay somewhere else, and slowly, they try to understand each other, but the bad guys set a trap, and it’s awful.
The men rekindle their feelings while Grant makes his decision.

I liked the friends, our men, cute Morgan, and this terrific story. Enjoy !

“I’m a travel writer” – port of entry into a fine romance!

California author Jerry Cole’s publications are now in the range of 90! And as Jerry’s repertoire grows his dramatic ability increases. SOMETHING AB0UT YOU is a solid new book, a very satisfying little romance.

Jerry’s ability to create a scene we wish to explore is expected. And in this new book he delivers a fine Prologue – ‘For a coastal town, supposedly a hub of tourism, the streets were quiet when Grant’s car turned onto the main road. The streets were lined with houses, set quite far apart, and the town itself had the appearance of being in the middle of nowhere despite Grant trying to find the closest one to the coastline. “Why are you picking Maine?” Matt had asked over the rim of his glass. He and Seb had taken Grant out for goodbye drinks and Grant would be sad to see them go. City life didn’t have the same appeal anymore and he was looking for something more in his life. “It’s not just Maine,” Grant pointed out. “I was hired to write about the coastal towns. Being established doesn’t mean I get the pick of the jobs I want. I still have to take them if I want to make a living. I just happened to pick one of the harbor towns at random, that’s all.” Seb was squinting down at the map. Grant resisted the urge to tell him that it wasn’t going to get any bigger no matter how close he held it to his face. “Is there anything there at all?” “A bed and breakfast,” Grant said dryly. “A harbor. And coastline.”

Scene set and the story begins, and is summarized well by the synopsis: ‘Grant Kelly is a travel writer from Canada who’s spent the last few years living with his best friends in Chicago. When he decides to head for Maine for a change of scenery, he finds a B&B—and the mysterious Robert—who are set to turn his world upside down. When Robert’s daughter Morgan takes a shine to Grant, he’s a little taken aback, but he forms a rocky relationship with her father. Robert’s got a lot of secrets and Grant wants to know them all because he’s starting to fall for the guy, except he’s got a secret of his own that he’s keeping. With Morgan’s exuberance, their friends interfering, and Grant’s own mistakes constantly impeding his relationship with Robert, it becomes clear that Grant’s either going to have to give up or throw caution to the wind. When an event leaves them with little option but to confess their feelings, will Grant get to keep everything he’s come to love, or will he have to give it up in order for Robert to be happy?’

Another very fine relationship analysis – and a hot little novel to boot. Jerry Cole seemingly has endless stories to share. Recommended.

Something About You is the story of Grant who travels to Maine to write about the beautiful scenery and inhabitants of a small harbor town. He stays at the local B&B where he meets Robert and his daughter, Morgan. It doesn’t take long for sparks to fly with Grant but his altruistic attitude lands him in hot water with Robert and we get to see how communication and boundaries play a huge part in their developing relationship. A lack of communication is a huge theme in this story that ends up causing danger to everyone involved. The characters are relatable, funny, and there are some cringe-worthy moments in the story that will leave you saying “oh God, why would you do that? Because I know I would do the exact same thing but you can’t do that!” It’s a sweet read that shows Grant and Robert tearing down their walls to be vulnerable with each other so they can ultimately accept their flaws and fall in love. Set in a coastal town in Maine, this story brings the place alive with its colourful characters. Grant is at a loose end as to what to do with his life and Robert along with his young daughter Morgan run a B&B. When Grant books into the B&B sparks fly between the two men and not always the happy sparks of love.

Jerry Cole delights the reader with this tale of finding love in a small harbour where everyone knows everyone. I laughed at the antics of Morgan and the people that make up the town.

I highly recommend this book, Grant and Robert’s story is full of drama and it slowly unfolds to reward you with a good read.

Grant travels form Chicago to Maine to write a travel book and to get a change of scenery. he leave behind two very close friends who expect him back sooner than he will get to maine. did did not reckon on him booking into Robert's B&B and falling for both the owner and his daughter. the book as with a lot of JC's books brings us on a journey of two men falling in love and lust. it add in a bit of mixed communication, well meaning but insensitive actions and words on behalf of Grant as well as a loan shark and physical attack. there is not really anything I do not like about this. well worth the read. I give it a 4.5 starring.

The two finally start working together and Grant finds himself loving his small Maine town and the people in it. He starts working on a boat with two men and intrenches himself in the way of life. Secrets are revealed, but will it be enough for Robert and Grant to make a life together? Excellent story. I voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC Book.

Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. Choosing the first B&B was part of Grant's plans for his new life venture. Meeting the owner Robert and his little girl Morgan was unexpected journey. When feeling arise within Grant for Robert, he only wants to help him if only Grant can Robert open up and trust him? When the past comes to hunt Robert will it push Grant away along with Roberts insists of not willing to trust him? Wow just loved little Morgan who borrowed deep in Grants heart and makes you love her and her little sassy ways. Another great read. With a wonderful HEA.

This is such a charming story about Grant, who needed a change and landed up in a small town, in a B&B run by Robert. The attraction between these two characters is very strong. Also Robert’s daughter gets very attached to Grant. But not all is well in paradise. Both of the guys have problems and secrets to deal with and to sort out before the HEA. This story also highlights the life of a small town and it’s people. A very good and entertaining read.

Jerry Cole is a genius writing emotional characters that make you fell in love with them. This story is about love, finding family and confronting the past. Grant found Robert and Morgan and with them found his own place. Easy to read, with some low angst situations but at the end totally worth it!! Amazing reading!

Grant is looking for a change of pace when he arrives in a small town in Maine. Meeting the owner of the B&B, Robert, and his engaging daughter, Morgan, they both steal his heart. But Grant moves too quickly and Robert is hiding and afraid to move forward. I adore Morgan. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
