On the night of June 6, 1966, in a small, rural county near the Ouachita National Forest in Central Arkansas, numerous lives are changed by a horrific act of rage. Sheriff Clyde Tidwell, a shell of his former self after his wife’s recent passing, must put aside his grief and work the multiple-homicide crime scene, no matter the emotional toll.

What awaits him inside the residence will make him question his sanity and everything he believes as he comes face-to-face with his deepest, darkest fears.

Will he succumb to the terror and become the next victim of the evil lurking inside? Or will he push past it to save the lone survivor and himself?

He entered thinking one thing, facing a bloody, gory horror he never could have envisioned and by the time he figured out what really happened, he was face to face with evil and it wanted him. His faith will be tested. The book may be short, but it has the creep factor alive and well and I turned the pages faster to put an end to it. And, of course, the ending is so much worse than I thought. May be short. Isn’t sweet. Made my skin crawl. Packed a lot in this novella. For the most part three stars would work, but because Ashley Fontainne had to take me down such a twisting road, jerking me left and right til the end, she has earned that additional star.

I voluntarily reviewed a free copy of Many be Ashley Fontainne.

Ashley Fontainne's Many (A Legion Novella, Book 1) though short, reads like a much longer work. Her protagonist, Sherriff Clyde Tidwell, is empathetic and reminds me a lot of Craig Johnson's Walt Longmire. This fast, paced paranormal crime thriller dealing with is a great read for anyone who is a fan of Frank Perretti's This Present Darkness or Stephen King.

What more can I say about this book beyond the fact that I loved it? From the wonderfully creepy cover to the terrifying story within, the author paints a picture of demonic and supernatural events that become all too real. When an evil as old as time sweeps through a small southern town, the events that are set in motion will reverberate among succeeding generations, and with "Many," the author has crafted the beginning of what looks to be a haunting and compelling series.

I really enjoyed listening to this book. It’s a quick book and I finished it in one setting. It was hard to put down because the story pulled me in. The story and characters are well written. My emotions was pulled into the story. The narrator also did an awesome job. I would definitely recommend reading or listening to this story. Ashley Fontainne wrote a spine tingling book in Many. The narrator D.H. Jones did an excellent performance. He added the right emotions to this paranormal book that meshes religious beliefs with evil spirits.
I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I definitely listened to this book with the lights on.

Southern Gothic style mystery with a supernatural and , believe it or not, Christian angle.
Narrated by a new and brilliant narrator DH Jones who has a rich, charismatic, and emotive voice that sucks right in !

How delightful to find a book that is both horrific and inspirational. This was a delight. Not many stories can scare you, and make you feel good too. I was given a free review copy of this audio book in exchange for an honest review

This was a really macabre and scarey story! It was a bit too religious and short for me. A multiple murder of a family may not be what it seems in a small town.D.h. Jones was a fine narrator.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
