A Return to the Island

Rate this book
This book shows the work selected by the curator of an exhibition alluding to the commemoration of the 500th anniversary of Thomas More’s Utopia.

The design editorial is thought from a concept of no territory, where lines that are cut and reappear generate a sensation of a space that does not exist. To achieve greater emphasis on the artistic work extremely clean reticles were used where appointments, titles and other elements coexist without generating tension. For the capitulars, the alphabet that Thomas More created at the time was redesigned.

Lugo takes us on a wanderful journey beyond the island, beyond Moore and beyond utopian thinking into a realm where it's already there even tho it should remain always in the horizon.
