Open Fire: A Mafia Romance by Aria Blake is a mafia-themed romance. This is a high-octane read that I absolutely enjoyed. It has thrills and a ton of romance. I loved the mafia angle. I had no idea that this was a sub-genre of romance and was delighted to find a refreshing take on romance. If you’re looking for something spicy and heart-pounding, look no further.

The story focuses on the romantic pair: Mia and Diego. Mia is a high-powered government official in charge of the shadier side of things. She has a bit of a celebrity status. Diego is head of the Italian Mafia. I saw some reviews complaining about Mia as ditzy and dumb. I’m not sure what book these people were reading, but she is quite the opposite—quick, smart, savvy, someone who can kick some ass. I absolutely loved her. And Diego is a complete hunk.

I had a blast reading this one. It has great characters and a lot of action. Plus, it has enough romance and sexy scenes to keep the reader all steamed up.

If you’re a romance reader who’s looking for a break in the traditional contemporary, I highly recommend Open Fire: A Mafia Romance. It’s a fun, fast-paced and sexy romance that will leave you begging for more.

Open fire by aria Blake

I won’t lie I actually have and do chat to Aria Blake she has become a friend so I was excited to read her book. Aria is an amazing person and just has a lovely energy about her.

So i bought this book on kindle as I had seen the cover for it and Aria had shared what was on the back cover And I was really intrigued by it.

Mia is hard core... she is an arms dealer who works for the government, she is strong, powerful and a very respected woman. She is a woman on a mission and will take out anyone she has to if they get in her way. She has made a name for her self and works hard for everything she has got. I loved that Mia was self made and had her own business. As a lot of books have the woman as less fortunate

Diego is the boss of the Sicilian mafia He has worked hard to become the boss he is relentless and will execute anyone in his way. he is strong powerful yet is so gentle kind and loving to Mia. He wants to protect her as much as she wants to protect him.

These two are perfect for each other. They are the perfect power couple yet...due to the nature of their work should not be together.

The story starts with the meet of Mia and Diego they don’t know the other is and they both use false names.

They both own empires that they have worked hard for yet they don’t want to keep away from each other and as the story unfold it becomes clear they do need each other more than they know.

Someone is out to kill Mia and Diego is willing to sacrifice anything to help her.

I can’t say to much as it will give away the story as there is no fluff within this book. everything is straight to point yet detailed when necessary. (Nothing worse than reading a book that details every single thing... takes away from the story).

This book had me hooked and I am so excited for the release of the next one. For me this book is a must read!

Loved it

This book was a excellent read. It was fast paced with a great story line. The main characters was interesting and constantly evolved as the relationship progressed. Would love to see the heroine show a bit more of her bad ass side. Over all it was a lovely book and I can't wait for the next one.
