Iris finds herself in the possession of something that brings together a strange combination of mates. It doesn’t mean she knows what to do with them. Does she have time for it while she is working overtime preparing for the town's end of season dance? Probably not. (But that’s not up to her now!)
Albino Vampire who doesn’t have fangs. Check.
A fairy that’s a beefy hunk with hamburger buns to match the handsome delivery driver. Check.
And a mysterious stranger that makes her knees buckle at first look. Check.
A Venus flytrap with a mind of its own? Check.
A weird obsession with fuzzy slippers? Check.
Iris is in for an adventure of a lifetime. Maybe her love of the flower language will come in handy. (But, probably not.)

What am I gonna do when all the books in this series are released? What am I gonna read? How am I gonna enjoy myself? Where am I gonna find other lighthearted, funny reads, making me smile on even the hardest and ugliest days? I know, we still have 4 more books to go and some sequels (the sequel to Lupine has been officially announced even!), but still. This is book 9 already and not one of these books disappointed!

I think it's very hard not to fall a little bit in love with Iris and her guys. Even though Iris has magic and is technically a witch, she's so lovely human. She's not good at every kind of magic, she's not all powerful. She's insecure, she has doubts and she is careful when it comes to what she believes and dares to long for. It was so easy to connect with her and to root for her! Even though this was insta-destined-mates-love all over the place, which isn't my favorite kind of love.

However, Black does a few amazing things with the mating spell and its consequences. Not only does Iris doubt if the love the guys feel for her is real and does she want to make sure that it is before she truly starts enjoying it, but the spell also has its effect on her magic. I think this is the first time the magic is actively interfering with the magic a character possesses. And although it was easy to figure out how Iris was gonna solve this problem, it was still very entertaining to read.

And on top of the bonding between the characters to solidify the bond, there also was a little side plot that had a very very nice conclusion. Starring a plant. A talking plant. A talking flesh eating plant. You know, the one from the little shop of horrors? Although this plant is very friendly. Mostly. She only doesn't have a filter and makes sure to brighten up all the awkward moments with her funny and witty commentary. I would love to read a book entirely from her point of view. I'm sure it would be endlessly entertaining!

Well, I'm afraid the countdown will continue. I can't wait to read Buttercup! She seemed incredibly sweet in this book and I'm excited to get to know her better!

I recently watched the Harley Quinn cartoon and this one reminded me of Poison Ivy and her talking plant. It was sweet, expected and fit in well with the rest of the series. Didn’t think much of Noah but I liked how unique Dorian was and how adorable the other guy was. Straightforward fast paced story but Igor totally stole the show.

I just love Igor. Iris and her relationship with her is just hilarious and amazing. Iris has plant magic and a flower shop in Silver Springs. After she starts reading the infamous book, she meets some amazing guys. Her insecurities make her question why they want her, even though she is perfect (in my opinion). This is a fun read that will make you feel better
I am loving all the books in this collection and this one is no different

OH my goodness this book is legit amazing. Iris owns a flower shop in Silver Springs and she has a form of earth magic with her main focus on plants. You will meet Igor and oh my goodness, I love her and want one of my own. Talking plants that everyone can hear. As soon as I read about Igor, my mind totally went to The Little Shop of Horror except we get the good version. I also want to advise that this book is NSFW! You will be laughing out loud and you will be blushing as well. So Iris is asked to supply flowers for a venue coming up. So she finds the book that Sage left behind and touches it and guess where that leads her too. Noah, Dorian, and Keiron are hot and she does not think that they would actually be into her. I have to say that I fell in love with Iris due to the fact that I totally understood where she was coming from. So will she be the one to push them away? Will something happen to destroy her business as well. All I can say is that you need to read this book. It is funny and you will love it.

Oh my gosh! Igor totally makes this book. Iris was a great addition to the series and I love how characters from the other books make appearances. Iris is curvy and confident (for the most part) and her mates are all amazing. There are definitely plenty of laughs and even some sexy times!

Spell Library Book 9

Iris is a plant witch. She owns the local floral sho & has a pet plant named Igor. Igor is compared to the plant from Little Shop of Horrors.

Iris has gotten the novel Love Blooms from Sage. And now that she is reading it, will she find her fated mates?

Oh my

Iris on the towns flower shop. Her and her faithful companion Igor have loads of fun together. When she is cursed right before the towns big night she finally meets her mates. Can they help her get it back before it's too late. Igor adds the best commentary throughout the whole book

You should read this just because of... Igor. This already says everything. Who doesn't need a sassy talking plant in their life? I'm sure that Iris got so many headaches trying to deal with the plant, but still... Igor is contending the first place with Willa, the talking pig in Sage by J.E. Cluney, to become my favorite character in the Spell Library series.
Iris is a witch with plant magic. She's a florist pining for her delivery guy when one day she gets in contact with Love Blooms, the magic book, and she finds her three mates. It's not easy for her to accept them because she has her insecurities, but when her magic start going crazy and her plants get cursed, she needs to pull up her big woman panties and fight back.
This book had so many LOL moments thanks to Igor, so if you don't want people thinking that you are insane, don't read it before dinner and then start laughing while eating when you rethink about all of those funny moments. My flatmates probably think I'm insane by now... oh, well. ;)

BDSM elements and consent issues

I like that Iris doesn’t berate herself for eating and she overcomes her body consciousness to feel sexually attractive. Thus I added 2 stars.

I don’t like that Iris disassociates from her body and calls herself names for being sexually aroused. I subtracted a star for this ongoing theme.

I don’t like that Iris decides one of her boyfriends must play a sexually submissive role without offering him the respect of having agency over his own body and I don’t like that she calls her boyfriend a famous girl’s name to degrade his gender and humiliate him, constantly. Consent violations and humiliation are not sexy and these elements do not make Iris more interesting, they make her verbally and sexually abusive. Minus a star for disrespect, emotional abuse that leads to physical hitting, and a violation of the consent issues of her boyfriend.

I don’t like the BDSM elements the author introduces in sex, without communication or prior consent from the participants, which would be scary in a real situation and not at all fun. She repeatedly pretends that pain is sexually arousing to her and others instead of acknowledging that endorphins are released when the body is injured and it means you aren’t safe. If your partner can’t be trusted in little things (like intentionally not hurting you during intimacy), then they can’t be trusted in big things, like a lifelong relationship commitment. Minus a star for consent issues and introducing BDSM elements with no warning in the pre-book summary so I could avoid reading about them.

She does actually decide that being vulgar, crass, and crude are not mandatory parts of her personality or relationships about 90% of the way through the book, but doesn’t address her issues with setting safe boundaries for herself or her boyfriends to avoid abuse or consent violations.

The sex scenes are very graphic and contain the same trite anatomical euphemisms and physiologically false phrases of other similar books. They sound really disrespectful of her body and painful for herself and others. Good sex should not lead to pain and injury is a sign of abuse, not sexual prowess.

I do not recommend this book.

Like the rest of this series, Iris had me in stitches. Aspen Black, makes you giggle with Iris' story. Iris makes a Venus Flytrap come to life for her best friend. Of course, Igor has an obsession for the town's candied flies, while Iris owns and operates FFS, the local flower shop.

Iris is given the chance to create and decorate for the town's big dance, as the initial florist from a town over was suddenly removed from the position. Sage has given Iris the RH Love Blooms and the moment the book is open, the magic happens. She finally figures out that Noah, her local delivery fairy, is one of her mates, but then finds out that she's also got a mate in Dorian, a fangless vampire who has a history with Noah and who feeds in a very intimate way, then runs into another mate at Vee who has the cutest shifter form known to mankind, and the owner of the security company that will be working at the Silver Springs Hop.

Then a black witch targets the main centerpiece of the hop at Iris' greenhouse, even as she fights the connection to her mates. Finally, Iris stops fighting her feelings, and her magic returns, they find the black witch and the 4 plus Igor go to have a little "talk" with the black magic casting witch. Although apparently Igor needs to be reminded to scare not eat the woman.

By the end of the book, it has you going from laughing to moaning and finally the happy ending that Iris truly deserves before she passes LB over to our baker Buttercup. But that is a story for another day!

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "IRIS" I love this series "Silver Springs Library" with all the unique interesting, intriguing, paranormal characters with their reverse harem stories.
Iris owns Floriography Flower Shop or FFS for short she's the gal to go for exotic flowers she's a witch with the power to make her flowers grow and thrive longer anyones just by putting her hands in the soil, her plant Igor is live by a spell and she's a Venus Fly Trap.
Sage gifted Iris with the "Love Blooms" Spell book four gorgeous hunks on front with one woman this book seems to be able to bring the reader a strange mix of paranormal mates.
Iris and Igor are two hilarious characters in this truly delightful story well one is a live plant with no filter for her mouth when she meets her three mates one is Noah she's been crushing on for years, a fangless Vampire Damian, a shifter Kieron but she not sure it's true or is it the Spell book making them like her.
This is truly a fun delightful story you don't want to miss I loved the characters and how they made Iris truly believe they loved and cherished her.
Iris got a friend for Igor she got a plant called Lawrence he's alive and an Orchis Italica better known as the naked man what a hoot when Igor meets him.
This is definitely a must have that won't disappoint I can't wait to read more from this series. FANTASTIC READ!!!!

Iris is a plant witch, which I liked learning about and how her powers worked. The only complaint that I had was that she kept making fat jokes and fat shaming herself in general. Other than that, she had a good heart, a lot of passion for plants, and an obsession with fuzzy slippers. Igor, a venus flytrap, was by far my favorite character! I loved that she had no filter, had her own powers, and was utterly loyal to Iris. She was very unique and a prankster- I would love for her to get her own book to discover her plan for world domination.
Noah, a fairy with hamburger buns, was sweet and reminded me of the boy next door type. Dorian, a vampire, has a different background and way of feeding than most vampires that I found intriguing. I loved the inclusion of MM with Noah and Dorian. Keiron, a quokka shifter, was my favorite of her guys. I absolutely think quokkas are adorable and he has a dominant and protective personality.
I was happy to see some old and new faces of Silver Springs residents and some more of Scarborough. The Silver Springs Hop Dance seemed like an amazing and magical event and it’s just another reason why I wish this town (and magic) were real. This book had humor, steamy scenes, candied flies, and a little mystery- I loved getting a POV from Igor near the end!

After receiving a book from sage as a gift and we all know what book that is (love blooms) finds after loving Noah her hunky delivery guy for over a year finds he is instantly attached to her and things start to change.iris is a bit taken back and dosent understand what's going on and finds not one mate but three and dosent now why they would want a plus size ladie.I found the whole story really funny especially Igor her venus fly trap who is very opinionated and says what ever she is thinking and at one point says I am a talking plant! I am igor! The most glorious of all venus fly traps and you will learn to worship me like everyone else and has a habit of bribing iris for her candied fly's from butter cups store.the men are sweet and caring but at the same time have that charm about them that makes you love them.I loved how you got brief moments with butter cup and Jasmine that will help set you up for there story and I loved how rose who is close friends with iris appeared in the story.it all so had me guessing what would happen next and I was not disappointed and I'm loving every minutes of this series.

It is so hard to choose a favorite in this fantastic series, but I must say, Iris is truly one of my top reads! Silver Springs flower shop owner Iris is a plant witch. Although her magic is wonky with any other spells, when it comes to plants she can do just about anything, including creating some plants that can talk. With her talking venus flytrap Igor, Iris enjoys spending time with her friends and growing some of the most beautiful flowers and plants. When she is offered a position to provide the flowers including the center piece tree for a town festival, it's perfect for her magical plants! However, Iris not only begins to feel her magic push back, but she also starts to feel connections with her long time friend a fairy who happens to be a complete hunk, a vampire with unique abilities, and a shifter with an unexpected inner animal. What could possibly go wrong? I truly hope we get a second book with Iris, her men, and Igor.

Like all of the other stories in this series Iris had me cracking up. I literally will be sitting and read a scene and laugh out loud. This is book nine and I have laughed in nearly every one of them. So if you are looking for a lighter side and need a good read, I recommend this series.

In Iris, Aspen has done a great job creating a unique character and a great group of friends. I mean who makes a venius fly trap come to life for your friend? Iris that is who. Who just so happens to be a florist. But things do not get real interesting until Iris gets to decorate for the big dance, and in turn starts meeting her mates. What a group of mates it is too.

But honestly guys, If you have had a rough day, and you need to lighten up your mood. These books are just the thing you need. Every one has been unique and every one put a smile on my face. I would highly recommend Iris, and great job Aspen!!

All the hot guys and Venus Flies!

The authors of Silver Springs never disappoint. Aspen Black delivers with this hilarious read. Iris owns a flower shop intentionally named Floriography Flower Shop so the untitled can be FFS. She’s a plant magic wielding witch joined by her living (think Little Shop of Horrors) Venus Fly Trap, Igor.

While working to prepare for her biggest event ever, Iris discovers her mates. Igor puts her plans for world domination on hold to warn the guys about mistreating Iris and to help Iris get a clue.

When Iris begins to have issues with her magic will she let Silver Springs down by not completing the order for the Hop?

Join Igor as she drags (guides) her sidekick Iris into clarity regarding her mates and just what’s happening around town. Don’t forget the candied flies, you’ll thank me later.

Fun series of stand alone books in a shared universe with a little bit of character cross over.

Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...

1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.

2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.

3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.

4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.

5 stars... I loved this book! It has earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP.

Another great addition to the Silver Springs Library collection

Once again the book LOVE BLOOMS by C.C. Line has made another mates match and it then gets passed on to the next single woman. This time it has matched up Iris who is a witch, but all she can do is plant/earth magic. She is a large woman who has negative issued about how she looks. Her best friend is a Venus Flytrap plan named Igor. She is very vocal and can do magic and move around in her own. Plus she is hilarious. Then we meet Iris's mates.....Noah a delivery driver who is also a fairy with wings.....Dorian who is a rich vampire with no fangs, but gets his blood by touch....Keiron is a possum shifter who owns Shadow Security Group.

Igor and Iris are hilarious. Igor constantly playing tricks and messing with people are a favorite with me. I mean who wouldn’t want a talking plant that can grow to seven feet and come to your rescue? Igor is brilliant. I wonder if she’d come live with me? Iris is cute and fun, kind of what you’d probably call a hearth witch in other book series. Specializing in plants. She has a massive greenhouse that I’m envious of and wish I could do as much with plants as she does. Instead about half mine die. She has three great guys that she at first doesn’t believe are really into her. But she will get there. This is a fun book. I loved it.

Well, CC Pine did it again with her spelled romance novel and this time it's Iris that gets her men ;)

One thing I am really enjoying with this series is the different supernatural peeps, and their characteristics/quirks, living fairly cooperatively in the town of Silver Springs. There is not a right or wrong, when it comes to love, and this book is another fine demonstration of that fact. That it's an entertaining read is just icing on the cake and it made for a one-sit reading adventure. Great fun for me and I recommend it to anyone looking for a lighter read, with humour, a sassy venus fly trap and a dash of dark magic swirling around some pretty hot chemistry.

Loved this very sweet & sassy RH love storey with a curvey female leading lady who cant initially see why the guys are interested in her because of her size. I loved that fact that these buff guys loved a bit padding to cuddle, The characters were well played ( OMG love the possom shifter) and a really good storey that keeps your attention. Plus one amazing stand out character by way of Igor who i need in my life, Laugh out loud moments along with times where you can really feel empathy for Iris.
Lots of meanders rather than twists and turns but very well written with enough depth to draw you in.

What do a male fairy, a vampire and a quokka shifter have in common? Iris! If you dont know what a Quokka is google it, you wont be disappointed! I loved this book, the humour just kept shining through what with the abbreviation of the flower shop name to FFS and Igor, Igor is definitely an unforgettable character! It is a fast burn, insta-love RH PNR with some M/M. Although not normally a fan of M/M it was only mild and didnt take over the story, in fact it added more to it, I did actually enjoy reading those scenes as much as I enjoyed the rest of the book
I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest review

Not that I don't love the book in general but I LOVE Igor. She is great! The book would not be the same without her and her snark. And I swear by all sorts of thing inappropriate probably by Amazon's verbal standards, I need to get me a fangless vampire. I would say I need a talking venus flytrap but I will most likely be bitten with my ability to ease plants into the next life as I call it. But what that vampire can do with a touch will leave me in a puddle and he can feed off of me anytime. That being said, there is a dance that Iris has been hired to decorate but her powers have gone all wonky but as she figures it out, she gets to enjoy the company of her sexy mates.

Love Blooms has helped another amazing woman find her mates. Iris owns the local flower shop. Her best friend is a Venus flytrap. But since it’s name is Igor, can talk, can move around, loves to do pranks and has no filters it is a pretty cool best friend. The book will help Iris find the ones for her and boy are they some very gorgeous men. Each is very unique and treat her like a goddess. So expect plenty of romance and hotness. Even some pretty hot m/m action. There is also so bumps for them and of course someone that just can’t let others be happy. An amazing addition to the series that you won’t want to stop reading.

Omg i want an Igor (venus fly trap) for myself she had me literally dying laughing at all her antics. She was an absolute riot & so bad*** too. Her and Lawrence (the naked man orchid)? Just brilliant. Back to the curvy florist - Iris (FMC) who is completely oblivious to when guys are interested in her especially Noah (Fae), Dorian (Vampire) and Kieron (Quokka Shifter). Blimey are these men hotter than hot!! Im just loving all the books ive read so far in the Silver Springs series and this one is just as good as those. I enjoyed reading it so much

Igor, it is “she “ and this one throw me off. Fly trap plant, gives me shivers.
Not a good one, but...I was laughing so hard. Her antics are hilarious. She is Iris roommate.
Iris is completely oblivious to her mates. And is not only one , she got three happy mates.
Noah -Fae, Dorian is Vampire, fangless one, and Kieron -Quokka Shifter.
I love that every book has a different shifter and I would say ,quite unusual, too.
The Silver Springs series are fun to read and this one is just as good as others.
I enjoyed reading this ARC.

Great addition

This is a brilliant addition to the silver springs library. I love this series as each book is a standalone and can be read in any order. Also whilst I haven't read them all the ones I have read have been funny and light hearted. They are quick reads too so a good gap filled it you can't decide what to read next. I like iris and her guys......... But come on Igor is everything. I mean not going to lie I might have laid in bed at night putting way to much thought into Igor and how she moves and how she can make toast lol. Just brilliant

Iris is the local florist of Silver Springs who was given the love spelled book that seems to be causing a stir in the town. It has a cover with multiple men and one woman to tame them. What do you get when you combine the florist with a love spelled romance book? A book that will have you laugh at the talking Igor, swoon at the sexy mates, and want nothing but happiness for Iris.

Read to find out how Iris handles mating with three sexy men, a party, quirky powers and evil former classmates.
