I feel like this book had the potential to be more highly rated. It just has too much info for a book like this. The layout feels too frantic for me, and if I didn’t read quickly enough, my 5-year-old got bored, which is never good. An older child would read it just fine, but with the illustrative style, I feel as though they would view it as too juvenile.
We did, however, very much enjoy the magic slider stuff. And I really like that they used a sturdy ribbon folded in half rather than a little hole you put your finger in or a flimsy cardboard tag that inevitably gets ripped.

The book covers a wide range of topics related to weather, including temperature, precipitation, clouds, wind, and climate. Each page features colorful illustrations and simple text that explain the concepts in an accessible and engaging way. The interactive elements of the book allow children to see how weather patterns change over time and how different factors can influence the weather, such as the angle of the sun, the movement of air masses, and the presence of water vapor in the atmosphere.
