The stories in this book are masterfully written. Each only 4 pages long, they get to the crux of the tale without any fuss. Proudley and his collaborators know how to find the heart of what's being laid out and in many cases, stab it til it bleeds out. And I mean that in the best possible way.

graphic flash fiction is an interesting conceit, and if I'd realised it was a shared world set of stories that might have improved my impression. While there were some good stories, opening with multiple almost the same stories meant I only kept going so as to not DNF.
