Disappointed

Not cohesive and the ending was inconclusive and unsatisfying. I thought it was a cliff hanger but saw nowhere to buy anything further.

Amber has an obsession and it goes by the name of Patrick. Patrick has his guard up when it comes to women and is not ready to let anyone get close to him, until one day he meets a sexy "stripper" named Candy, and the facade begins. This book isn't all fun and games, as in life, there is heartache and hardships. Amber and her friends deal with loss and grief together. In fact, one of the things I admired most about this book is the fact that when Debra needs Amber the most...all mention of Patrick is gone and she is 100% there for her friend. Oh man will this one make your heart ache! And is there a secret twin involved?  I've honestly felt like I've read about 3 books with everything that happens in this 1! And there's about 800 questions left unanswered!

I really enjoyed this book! It definitely reminds me of Sex In The City. You have 4 female friends and their stories are all combined. They each have their own drama and real life problems but as best friends they are there for each other and their lives are entwined throughout the book. It was suspenseful, and had some very big surprises. That ending about killed me! It was written very well and I’m so excited to read book two!

This was a little like Sex In The City. Things aren't always as they appear. I liked the character and there friendship. Each of them going through things. This was heart felt, a little wild and steamy sexy. This is my first time reading this author. I'm looking forward to her other books. This was given to me to read as a possible book club pick. It gets my vote. Thank you to the BookTrib book club network for this copy.

There were so many errors on every page in this book that I simply couldn't enjoy it. Punctuation errors, spelling errors, missing words, incorrect grammar--you name it, this book had it. It really burns me when authors don't use a professional copy editor and rely on spell checker or so-called friends to proofread their manuscript.

In addition, the writing isn't that strong--choppy, too many coincidences and unbelievable plot points, and characters that disappoint. I will admit that the stripper sex scene was very sexy, but totally unbelievable. There's a great cliff-hanger ending and I admit I do want to find out what happens, but I certainly wouldn't buy the next book to find out. Disappointing as there was so much possibility in what this book could have been.

I got many requests regarding the recommendations of a book which would be a fun read especially for girls. A book which has a vibe like Four more shots. The book I am about to tell you all is a trip on its own. The book is called "Facade".
Starting with the title of the book, it's a a very interesting title as Facade means False identity and the book also has this one liner "Things aren't always as they appear". So when I read it I was prepared that something interesting is going to happen when I read the book. Cover on the other hand is a very unique one, it gives a magazine type vibe but is actually a part of Unbroken Series. So the outer appearance of the book was really appealing.
Talking about the plot of the book, The storyline is a fun drama which will take you to a mood roller coaster, there will be times when you will be laughing, there will be times you would be sweating while reading the steamy scenes and when the time comes you'll be shedding tears because I am sure the story will hook you up. The story line is associated with 4 characters. Amber, Debra, Dominique and Zya. All of these girls have their own set of life and relationship stuff. Now just when you start reading about these characters the more familiar you become of them but the part which I would like to mention is that the these characters are so realistic like trust me when I say I know Zya personally. Hahahh well I would rather say I have a friend who totally resembles with the character Zya. I enjoyed reading the book a lot. It reminded me of the time I was with my friends. I would like to talk about ending here. The ending of the story was a little odd unlink other series. I don't know if it was experimental but it was a little odd because there were many questions unanswered but I am surely going to read because I am in that zone where I don't feel I can afford to leave it this way.
Talking about the words and the language in the book, they were pretty easy and understandable. I would definitely recommend it to all the readers out there and also I would like to thank the author for giving me such an experience through the book.

♥️Facade is the book 1 of "Unbroken Series" and honestly this book deserves a 5 star for the story, the bond of friendship, relationship issues and the emotions it conveyed.

Things aren't always as there appear!
Right? We all know this very well and this one small sentence is a life saver if you really understand this.

I choose books because of the cover and book description, Isn't the cover most attractive and beautiful?
Well yeah, it is!

♥️Now have a look to the storyline of this book-

"Sex in the City meets Fifty Shades"
What would you do for your best friend? Or rather, what wouldn’t you do?
Dealing with a tragic death, health issues, and difficult lifestyle choices, the lives of Amber’s best friends spiral out of control.

This is a journey of four friends- Amber, Debra, Zya and Dominique where each one of them is dealing with their own shit, relationship problems and managing their ups and downs. This is so realistic as we can actually feel each character's story. The relationship problems is very well described here. A gentle warning- There is a conversation about sex, includes some erotic scenes and all these women fantasize sex.

♥️The most beautiful thing about the story is even though all the friends have big life problems but the way they supported each other is adorable and all of them were shown to have a successful career. Some of the other things mentioned in this book were- deaths of loved ones, bisexuality, cancer and bullying.
I enjoyed this friendship between the four women where no matter what they are going through, they always support each other. The conversations between the women were also very natural and realistic. There are moments when you will cry and some moments will make you smile.
I loved it totally because I like stories where women are shown as a strong independent character. I had a good time reading this book, So go ahead, grab this book and a cup of coffee and enjoy reading 🌟

Amber thinks she finds her Mr. Right, but now she doesn't know anymore.
Debra is suffering a loss so great.
Dominique finally realizes what she's doing to herself. But can she face it?
Zya comes across a mysterious stranger and ends up in love. Or is it? Can she come to terms with it?
~
I absolutely loved this book, the steamy scenes, the dramatic scenes, the scenes that tore you apart and the ones that made you laugh. Facade had new drama every single time you turned the page. One moment you're all happy with where the characters are and the next you're angry or sad.
~
As the book went on, you learned more and more about each of the characters. This helped to understand some of the decisions they made as the book went on.
~
One thing I really liked is the fact that one of the characters were questioning their sexuality. Is it right to feel that way? Are they allowed to be happy with someone of the same gender? I feel this is something a good few people ask themselves and it was interesting to read about and kind of relate to.
~
Something I would like to point out is the fact that some things felt quite rushed together. While you were still trying to process one scene, another scene containing more drama was thrown your way.
But, I still greatly enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it!
~
**TRIGGER WARNING**
This book contains details of eating disorders and a lot of s*xual scenes. Please be aware of this before reading/purchasing.

The scenes are the tragic scenes, the scenes that have ripped you apart and the ones that make you laugh. I completely enjoyed this novel. Every time you turned the tab, Facade had new drama. You're all laughing one moment with the characters and you're upset or depressed next.

The plot is a fun romance that takes you to a mood ring, sometimes you grin, sometimes when reading the steamy scenes you are sweating and at the time you shake tears because I'm sure the story will hook you up.

There are 4 people in the plot line. Dominique and Zya. Amber, Debra and Zya. Both these girls have their own lifestyles and marriages. Now as you begin reading these characters, the more familiar you get, but the part I want to note is that they are so believable that I believe when I say that I know Zya personally. Oh well I'd like to say that I've got a pal that's absolutely like Zya.

I liked the book very well. They were very simple and intuitive to speak about the vocabulary and the terminology in the novel. I certainly advise all the readers out there and also thank the writer for giving me such a book experience.

Facade By Melody Saleh
4/5
Facade by Melody Saleh is a feel-good romance with an undercurrent of mystery. The story starts off with spice right from the first page. You really cannot go wrong when you are immediately immersed in a sexy scene...too bad it was just a dream. The story follows the four main characters Amber, Debra, Zya, and Dominique.

The four women are like sisters and each work to take care of each other, especially when Debra suffers an extreme loss.

Amber, Debra, Zya, and Dominique are all going through their own version of drama and or heartache. On their own, they struggle and would drown in their emotions, but banded together with their friends they hold each other up to work through their own facades.

I recommend this book (and series) if you’re into feel-good romances, drama, spicy scenes, and possibly a cry or two. Melody Saleh is a multi-talented author (writing both romance and thrillers) and she knows how to draw your heart into each page.

Melody Saleh’s book Facade: Things aren’t always as they appear; takes the reader onto a passionate rollercoaster ride that takes you on a journey through the lives of four women friends. I turned the pages faster and faster as the story progressed.

The sexual scenes were properly placed, and it was truly incredible the way these four women supported each other through thick and thin. There were plenty of twists and turns to keep you wrapped up, and when you opened the book, you stepped in and lived the lives of these women. Each one had their own insecurities and stories. I loved the way each of them helped the other. This is the way women should be toward each other.

There are some great characters in this story which explores contemporary relationships. The dynamic between the main protagonists is believable. The women are likeable and relatable. Everyone has secrets, which makes this story, intense, and suspenseful.

The well written sensual fantasy theme gives the story an erotic edge. It adds to the characters' complexity. Facade, is an intriguing start, to what promises to be, a page-turning series.

I received a copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.

This was an unusual and refreshing approach to storytelling. There are several main characters and their stories are neatly interwoven into a multi coloured tapestry.

The plot deals with some challenging issues and situations, but throughout, the loyalty of friends and the love of family prevents the story becoming morose.

There were times when the different layers of story felt contrived, but overall it was a compelling read where things weren’t always as they appeared…I received a copy of this book from the author via Quirky Blind Date with a Book

Let me start by saying if you can't follow multiple people/mini-plots this isn't the book for you.

This was my first book by this author, also the first one written in this style, and I have to say I personally loved it. All the characters had their own stuff going on but it still interconnected making me want to just get to know each one of them more and more.

This is book one in the series and I can not wait to read more. Remember this isn't a standalone but you are in luck because book two and three are already out. 💕

A story about 4 friends dealing with their life issues and relationships -- each having her own and separate issues -- all 4 of which I found interesting and kept me immersed in their story throughout. Loved how they supported each other. Has erotic scenes. Lots of drama and emotions. End of book 1 set up scenario for book 2.

The book has it all, intrigue, suspense, friendship, and surprises around the corner. The characters come alive more and more as you continue on the journey of the book. There is more to come in a second book can't wait for it to come out. I understand that is going to happen soon.

Not quite my cup of tea with the underdeveloped characters and settings, but the ending is certainly a multidimensional cliffhanger with many unanswered questions that tempts me to read on to book 2 in the series.

What a confusing and odd story. Definitely doesn’t flow as well as it could and you as the reader struggles with that.

I loved so much of this book. There were several characters and storylines going on, and while I would normally find this distracting, it worked well because it really allowed for the friendship these women shared to shine through. I loved how they were there for each other through the good, the bad and the ugly. I loved the drama, the heartache and how they were always lifting each other up, cheering each other on and always supporting one another. The first in this series I am looking forward to reading the next installment.

Loved Loved Loved this book! I couldn't put it down once I started it. It is so unique with it being different main characters but you get totally immersed into each of their lives. It ended on such a cliff hanger and I can't wait for the next one to see what happens.
