I received a copy of this book and am leaving a review.
When I first came in to this series, it was to start with More Than Words (Book 3), and while normally I hate coming into a series in the middle of it, in this case, I'm super glad I did because otherwise, not sure I would have felt the same love for Parker. See, he met this waitress, Rainey, when they were teenagers, and they fell in love. Fast forward 8 years, and they had married, while he just signed up for his 4th deployment in the military, so their marriage was in the dangerzone. The way Parker treated his wife had me all kinds of enraged, and I wanted to hurt him so badly when experiencing Rainey's side of things. I don't want to get in to more details as I don't want to ruin this experience for anyone else, it's just I'm super hard on men when they hurt great heroines like Rainey, who was only ever there for him & his sister. Anyway, this box goes for 4 books, told from Rainey's POV the first 2, while Parker's POV is told in the last 2 books. I really did love the forgiveness in Rainey's heart for anyone that she cared about, no matter what they did to her, so she was absolutely my favorite at the end of the day, because she was a bigger person that I would ever be in all honesty. So, one click this amazing Box Set, so you too can experience Rainey & Parker's journey, as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!
