I can’t remember when was the last time I read and incredibly enjoyed an uncomplicated romantic story with neither drama nor twists!!!! Sade and Trent’s love story was very sweet and really beautiful, full of flirt and romance. 💖
Talk about insta-love/lust. Trent and Sade were both mesmerized the minute their eyes met. Their chemistry was off the charts and this is one sizzling romance with no shortage of steam. Trent is my newest book boyfriend. Talk about perfect, he had it all. Billions, manners, kindness, respect, not to mention that he cleaned, cooked, brought flowers and did I mention, he loved to shop. What more could a girl want? As I was reading I kept waiting for something bad to happen. Things just don't go this smooth. No angst.
Female lead kept on mentioning how big she is compared to her size 4 friends. It got annoying after the second time. Since when is size 8 considered big? Also, there is no reason for this to be a cliffhanger. The story could have been wrapped up in this book.
This was very fan fiction like , and I love fanfiction. However, it just felt a little to rushed at the begining and at the end. Boom he has found the perfect women. Boom they get it on with eachother. It's a short and quick read which I liked
This was a good read. Sade and her friends are on vacation together. While at dinner she sees Trent. They both are instantly attracted to each other. She is only there for a week but things are serious. Now they try to make a long distance relationship work. Of course there are issues. However, they get it all worked out in the end and they get their HEA.
Great story and characters. Trent is an hotel owner and a vet, all it took is one look when he saw Sadie and he was hooked! This intense instalove entertaining story is another winner for Ali. I honestly volunteered to review this arc.
It Grabbed My attention and focus so strong I could not put it down. A word of advice when you get your copy. Grab a snack, a comfy seat, kick back and relax. You will not be moving until you finish this bad boy here. Remarkable job. Thanks for sharing.
I don't know if I've read this author before. I know the e-book was offered free, recommended on one of the sites that shows me free and discounted e-books.
I probably would have rated it higher if it had been a "clean romance" genre entry and would have rated it higher if the ending hadn't come at such an odd point. Definitely a play to get readers to buy the next book--a bit too obvious for my taste--and let's face it, if it's the genre I think it is, the two will end up together by the end of the series.
I like the friendship between Sade, Khloe, and Julie even though Khloe and Julie do push Sade into things that I'm not sure true friends should. I like that they planned a vacation together before they each split off to her own career in different locations.
Trent is definitely lucky he has competent people overseeing his business(es) because he seems to do little work the week that Sade is vacationing there. I can totally understand his desire to not be the center of the party all the time and just to spend time with his dog at times.
I am a fan of Ali Parker’s books, but this one will not be on my top list. Story line was good but slow, the leaves you with hanging and having to buy book 2. I am glad the series is completed or I would finish reading it. That is one of my peeves. I want a full story not pieces or waiting months for more. Overview. Sade and her 2 friends just finished college and were taking a vacation together to Lake Tahoe. When they get there, they meet the owner Trent. Trent is an ex army soldier who now owns and build a hotel chain with his best friend. Trent sees Sade from across the restaurant and has to meet her. Once he met her and her friends, he wanted to get to know her. She has been the first women he has taken interest in since he left the service. But she will be living in Fresno and him in Tahoe. How could they ever work out.
This touching story draws you in to Sadie and Trent. She is a low-keyed individual who can't believe that she has caught the eye of the hotel owner they are staying at. Trent is captivated by her and couldn't believe that she was in fact the daughter of his platoon leader in the military. As these two connect on a personal level Sadie wants to give Trent something special but in doing so will she be giving her heart as well and will Trent be the same once she leaves to return to California. How will the story end will she stay in Toronto and in the Heart of Trent forever? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
I also love a great Ali Parker book this is no different. I immediately fell for Trent. I mean how could you not. He's awesome plus he loves his dog Leia ☺. Sade is pretty awesome too. She needs a little fun after graduation so a week way should be fun! Trent and Sade were absolutely amazing! I loved that they had this connection from the beginning. I loved how caring he was to Sade and her friends. I loved everything about them. Can't wait to see what happens next. 💙
This is part 1. It takes you to the end of her 1 week post-grad vacation at his Tahoe Hotel and her day 1 of her new job in Fresno. You have to buy book 2 to know how they manage to handle the distance relationship, if they do. It was good up to that point. Cute and romantic. I really liked her friends and was looking forward to sequels for their stories. But, this isn’t a whole story… it’s just the first half. I don’t like it when they do that.
Cute story line, chubby girl gets billionaire, but then she has to go back to reality. He shows up offers of relationship and it ends. So I spent all of that time reading an ok written book to not learn what happens. A whole book and nothing! Slow boring goes nowhere!
Sade and Trent have chemistry with their first eye contact at his resort hotel. They spend as much available time as possible together and surprisingly Trent wants a relationship. This was a very romantic story, but I hated the cliffhanger at the end.
It seemed like a fun light reading book but I didn't get a fifth in, just wasn't for me. I genuinely did like the descriptions of the quite nights looking at the sunset with the dog. The male protagonist did seem like an interesting character with promise. However, If the other characters had developed themselves past being more interesting than bread boards, I Might have around,
The book was cute and would have gotten 4 stars if not for that totally unnecessary and contrived cliffhanger ending. Authors need to learn that series are possible without giving the reader an incomplete final scene. The romance was interesting enough that I would want to buy the next book to see how it progressed, if it progressed. Now, I feel frustrated and insulted and probably won't.
For Sade to bag the owner of the hotel she’s staying at for vacation? What a job well done. To see Trent be true to himself while also reassuring Sade that she’s worth every minute and penny of his time? Perfection. I can’t wait to see how their story unfolds... if it unfolds because we’re all still waiting on whether she’s going to agree to this long-distance relationship or not?
I need to stop reading cheesy romance books because I never end up liking them and then feel bad when I give a bad review. but if you are looking for over the top cheesy only see on hallmark type of story this is a good book to read. Book was pretty predictable of what would happen but that comes with the territory I guess. Didn’t like the little caveat of glorifying virginity taking- just weird
Lol. I normally don't like to start a series where I need to purchase all the books in the series to finish it....at least, not with the shorter romance stories. Thankfully, so far, Dive In is well worth getting the second book. I'm sure the second book will continue to delight!
This end on a romantic cliffhanger. Just saying it up front coz, I would want to know if I was thinking about reading it. I liked the characters and the way and pace of the story and where it was headed... but then it just stopped.
This book was okay. I was put off by the fact that Sade thought she was unattractive because she was a size 8. Really!! And, it ended as cliff hanger. No need to move on to the next book.
We’re having our last fling after college. We will have to jump into the real world of work and responsibility. I never anticipated the tall, handsome billionaire with cobalt eyes.
You should warn customers as a over long story. Can't enjoy if you dont disclose the facts that help your customer's satisfaction. Why start a book when you overextended the book. Sorry a real down play.
This is one of All best books. The combination between Trent and Safe was lovable. I also loved Kolhe and Julia I can't wait to start book 2. I've already purchased it.. Can't wait to start it. Ali your amazing
The story continues to get better as Sade's relationship with her billionaire just gets better and better. Unfortunately she had not mentioned the relationship to her dad and he shows up at her condo and find a ouf. Anxious to see how this works out.
Trent sounds like one gorgeous guy and has everything he could ever want. He wants Sade but she lives in San Francisco. Can they make a relationship last long distance?
