Lizabet always knew she wanted an alien warrior of her own, but can she handle two of them?
Tired of waiting for T'kol to decide she's ready, Lizabet is determined to move on with her life and leave the massive horned warrior behind. However, an unexpected blizzard and a wrecked alien flyer alter more than her destination. The flyer contains a strangely alluring reptilian alien who needs her help - yet he soon stirs feelings other than compassion in her heart.
Hisst has been waiting patiently for an Icluthian queen to choose him as one of her males. Then his exploratory mission crashes on Earth and his rescuer - a lush female - has him yearning for a human queen. But the Yehrin warrior who comes after her will never permit him to share in her attentions.
T'kol has been waiting - not so patiently - for Lizabet to settle down. However, when her restless spirit leads her into danger, he is through holding back. When his desperate search finds her with an Icluthian warrior, he is no longer certain that she will choose him - and he could never share his female.
Now all three are trapped and dependent on each other for survival. Can three different species form a bond that lasts beyond a dangerous situation, unite three worlds, and discover where they truly belong?
Each book in the Alien Invasion series can be read as a standalone romance. This sweet and extra steamy HEA features two alien warriors and one very determined female who knows what she wants. It is intended for adult readers.
Such a thrilling book! I love Hisst! He is so inquisitive, always seeking to understand his new human acquaintance. But, as Lizabet reminds us, “Earth women defy translation.” Lizabet is such a free spirit. She takes more chances than may be wise, and she finds Hisst to be as open to adventure as she is. That doesn’t mean he would put her in danger. T’kol found that out. Considering that Yehrin males are not inclined to share their L’chka - EVER - it’s amazing to watch T’kol begin to realize this threesome may be beneficial. There is no denying, however, he will be the one in charge! I love where the story takes these three, and how they work things out. Quite an adventure, in which Lizabet has a prestigious role. Don’t miss it. Fantastic storytelling! The epilogue lets us know there are unfinished stories. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
When we met feisty teenager Lizabet, I knew her story would not be traditional. So it was with a ‘le squeeee’ of happiness that I discovered she would have not one but two love interested. The time line has moved on and Lizabet is now 22 and returned from college....and long time love interest T’kol still keeps his distance.
T’kol and Hisst two completely different aliens, opposites of each other that would compliment and nurture the wonderful Heroine that Lizabet is. The romantic negotiation of their budding triad made for a wonderful read and didn’t hold back on the emotions. I loved the fleeting passes of jealousy and anxiety..it made for a more real and compelling read. Fantastic page turner of a book from start to finish.
I tried reading this story but it was just so poorly written. I could not stand the female protagonist as she was whiny and immature. Just because the bull alien was dealing with being older than her and not wanting to feel like he is taking advantage of her she then runs off on some adventure that makes no sense. To add on to how bad the story is not only written but also the second alien guy just seemed stupid. He in another world where his race does not get along with the current inhabitants of the world and he goes off on a joy that goes wrong. Well, duh, how is that smart. They are both childish and I just couldn't force myself to continue reading this story.
Easily a new favorite in this series for me, I read each one of Honey Phillip's books and think, "This is the best one yet!" But then the next one comes out and I realize that her books are like literary crack, and every hit makes me yearn for the next one to follow immediately after, but alas, we have to wait, lol. So I loved Lizabet in the previous books, her impulsiveness and energy are hard not to enjoy reading about. I didn't think T'Kol would ever pick up on her vibe, and he really almost missed out. Hisst appreciated her right from Day One, but for me, I struggled to find the attractiveness in a scaly, cold-blooded dude, but he grows on you. His attitude is so pleasant and worshipful, that you just can't help yourself but like him in the end. The story itself moved at a nice steady pace with fights and crashes and intrigue interspersed with some really wicked hot love scenes. I loved the triad dynamic in this story so much so that it was impossible for me to put the Kindle down until I had read the whole dang thing. Okay, so that really isn't a negative, because the story and the characters are easily worth all the time spent reading it. I can hardly wait for my next fix for my addiction when Emlan's story gets released. In case you had any question in your mind, yes, I completely recommend that you read this story as well as the ones that came before it, really, anything written by Ms. Phillips is worth your time and you will have to thank yourself for becoming an addict too.
I have truly enjoyed every book this author has written but ménage is not really my thing so I opened this one with trepidation. It is, in fact, one of her best, if not the best. The intimate relations between characters are meaningful whilst being hot but the story is really about the relationships between the main characters and it is fantastically written. I was deeply disappointed when it finished because I was enjoying it so much.
I’ve never been a big fan of MMF/triage romance, but this one wasn’t so bad. I did find it a little doubtful that the horned alien (I think his name is T’Kol?) would have accepted the triad situation as readily as he did, but whatever. It was a pretty decent read otherwise. I do quite like this author’s style of writing.
I stumbled across Honey when I had finished another authors books. I have been on a bit of a sci fi romance blitz. Just something to get lost in other than the norm. Where you can do what you want because it is sci fi.
Trust me you will not be disappointed. I enjoyed this one so much that I am now working my way through all her books. Gotta love Kindle Unlimited.
Why hellooooo menage fun! We get two sexy aliens for the price of one. This book was smoking hot, as well as being a lot of fun. I cannot get enough of this series.
Lizabet has been waiting for T’Kol for 7 years, but he still thinks she is too young at 21. Frustrated and heartbroken she leaves home to get away from him. One the way to her families secluded cabin she spots a flyer go down in the foothills not far away, the distraction causes her to hit the ditch. Grabbing what she can she treks out into the storm, worried the downed flyer was T’Kol. However when she finds the flyers occupant she is surprised to find another alien, a species new to earth. Hisst is an Icluthian, a lizard species. Lizabet manages to keep him warm and get them to a nearby cave where they are trapped together for a few days and quickly bond. When T’Kol realizes that Lizbet has gone missing he rushes out to find her, only when he arrives at the cave Hisst stuns him before Lizabet can identify him as friendly. T’Kol ends up injured- which is probably for the best since it prevents him from immediately eliminating Hisst. Even though T’Kol never had any intention of sharing Lizabet, but her bond with the Icluthian, his injury and his refusal to lose her force him to accept Hisst and together the three continue to grow into their relationship and defend it against friends and family alike who are unsure if the untraditional arrangement.
When Lizabeth tires of her Yehrin warrior T’Kol’s waffling on their relationship, she drives off on a personal retreat. Her truck wrecks in a snowstorm, just in time for her to see a flyer crash, and its pilot eject. She goes to the rescue, meets and falls for the Icluthian warrior Hsst. Meanwhile, T’Kol can’t take having her gone, and goes to find her. These three people, a human, a Yehrin, and an Iclutian find themselves in a reluctant but highly workable triad. The book details their steamy romance and their unique value to all three species in a newly formed interstellar coalition, as well as their bumpy road to acceptance in the NewHaven colony. Wonderfully sensitive and beautifully real, this book is one of the best written ménage romances on this, or any, planet.
I'm not much for menage and reverse harem stories. Usually it seems the sexual attraction overwhelms the emotional connection and the relationships between the males is more of tolerance than acceptance.
I loved this story because, not only was the love between the m/f pairs clear believable and sweet, but the author took time to develop a close brotherly partnership between the males. The fact that their potential competition was mitigated by their love, not just desire, for Lizabeth and her happiness, and a respect for each others was a wonderful thing.
Perhaps the fact that they weren't already a unit when Lizabeth formed her connections, falling individually in love with each, allowed us to see the individual males involved. I loved it.
I had mixed feelings regarding this book, I have to confess I hoard it for a while. The main issues I have before reading the book was the age of the heroine and the Alpha H accepting another male into the relationship. I'm used to the J/P nature of my aliens, so when another race is introduced to the mix it makes me rethink the whole concept.
I have to say my worries were unfounded, yes Lizabeth is young but she is also tough and her life has forced her to mature faster than the usual teenager. Also, the RH situation was managed with tact and it came out seamless. I should have known that Ms. Philips will deliver another great book with this not.
I actually started this book and got to the second chapter and stopped reading. Picked it up again after a couple of weeks, because I really enjoy this author's work. I still didn't have the burning need to find out how it ends, but I plugged through it for about a week. Finished it last night, and while it was interesting, I just couldn't connect with the M/F/M characters. While this book didn't do it for me, I can honestly say that due to the world building and well rounded characters, I feel it worth a reader's time and $$. If you can read it via Kindle Unlimited like I did, all the better. I will be reading the next in the series.
Lizabet's story is sweet and steamy all in one. Lizabet, who took a trip to get away from her Yehrin, saves Hisst when he crashes. He took an illegal trip from his Icluthian queen just to explore Earth. When he meets Lizabet, he realizes he wants her as his queen. Then T'kol, who has been smitten with Lizabet for years and he has just been waiting for her to grow up, decides to go find her and finds both of them and then he gets accidently shot. So now Lizabet has Hisst and T'kol in the cave. Lots of fun, adventure, action and romance as they learn their way together and they all have a happy outcome, especially Lizabet.
I always hesitate to read ménage à trois stories because they so often revolve around the angst of who should they choose or some miscommunication that could easily be resolved.
But that’s not this story!
Their love was pretty solid from the beginning and the struggles were more about how to live around others with their unusual family. I love stories that are about culture rather than angst.
Just wish the epilogues were skipped. They added nothing to this story. It was more like a follow up for Alien Selection and a prequel for Alien Hope. Made me want to reduce a star.
Lizabet is tired of being ignored by T 'Chok. She leaves to try and get over him. On her way she has a wreck on a snow storm and also rescued a warrior from another race. He thinks she is beau and has no intentions of ignoring her. Her family realize she is missing and finally fell T'chok where she went and why, he realizes he may have waited too long. When he finds them, he is shocked, but Lizabet is tired of her ignored. Will they all find love together?
This is Lizzie and T'kol's love story well plus Hisst. Liz was an underaged girl that was picked up for skipping curfew in the first two books. She was eventually adopted by Rachel and her mate. Benji, Rachel's brother is upset about the lizard man one moment then completely gives into the idea. But as soon as anyone mentions Hisst he is upset, dude, get it together. Lizzie is similar to all the other female MCs, whiny and annoying. This was by far the worst in the series.
I enjoyed this 4th book in the series, but there were a lot of places where I had to completely suspend my disbelief. It is a woman’s fantasy to be loved and cherished equally by two amazing men, but to have one be Yehrin was hard to accept, especially as quickly as it happened. Still, it was a very good story that had me seeking to carve out extra reading time.
This is a wonderful series. This time Lil has grown up and is waiting impatiently to be claimed by her warrior who is hesitant due to her youth. On the way to the family cabin she crashes the old truck as she watches a space ship crash. She saves the alien on board, an reptilian, and they discover they are interested in each other. Soon, though, her original love arrives! She winds up loving both males!
Mind blowing book. Lizbeth was always head strong doing what ever she wanted and stubborn. T'kol burned for her but did not claim her as she'd hoped. she takes off and bam there is a flyer crashes. Low and behold she hikes to the site and discovers a lizard man. Who would ever think there would be a triad love. Uno spoilers here. There is sexy love scenes and a little battling.
That L'zabet has done it again. I strongly suggest reading this series in order to follow the backstory. She has always been a bit of a rebel, but when her heart was broken, she decided to go to where she grew up. What follows starts a great adventure with some surprises in store for her and her MATES! I cried at the end, but that is another story to come. Happy reading.
It's been years since I read the first books of this series and I'm so glad that I picked it back up 😃. This is definitely different from most stories, being that it's about three different races put together 🤔. Lots of action, intense situations, yummy sex scenes and wonderful characters 😉. Thanks again Honey, I truly LOVE your stories and can't wait to read more 🤓.
Lizzie, Hisst and T'kol's story is awesome and came out of nowhere. I love how she met Hisst and how T'kol was added to their adventures in Snowbound. It had a lot of deep undertones about acceptance and standing up for yourself and your loved ones. Great love story and who would have think our smart mouthed L'zzibet would end up is such a career. Wonderful work. DanaLynn
The alian race which raised the female human had warred with the lizard-like race from the earliest recorded historys of both races. New attempts at a treAty àre failing until the young human woman mates with a male from both sides And forms a stable relationship between all three members. Enough spoilers.Good book, enjoy.
And then I read book 1 - I have now finished all 5 and hope for more! The characters catch your attention immediately. The writing is clear and confused enough information to follow the story but no excessively flowery descriptions or repetitive repeating of a "secret".
This story shows that an alpha alien can be adaptable. This is still a mating story but extremely prolonged to the point it was hurtful and painful for the human female. Then she felt attraction for a different type of alien. Will these 3 be able to make this work. Good read.
