It’s a beginner’s guide to writing script for television. It’s a really small book but it has amazingly helpful content. It’s a short read, so I will keep my reviews short, as the more detailed reviews will contain spoilers. It’s like handbook that has all to the point practical content. It has covered almost all the aspects like setting camera, screens, audio, timings, tag lines, focusing on the audience etc. There are practical examples, along with video link and worksheet also. So I can say it’s a complete package for the aspiring script writing writers. A must read for them as it has been really helpful to me. Good one.

Brief notes for first timers

In Screenwriting for TV Commercials, the author gives you insight on the format and the efficient way of writing screenplays.
He gave the difference between script as well as screen play too.
It is good that there are many other references provided at the end of the book so that one can get back and go through if they are stuck up some where in their script.
The author mentioned few online tools as well which would help in shaping our thoughts and ideas into a perfect script.

This is a good help for me who knows to draft the ideas but is not sure how to convert it into a script.

Overall, I would recommend this short read to all those who want to be the writers and lure people to buy the products or watch a movie.
