LOVE TRIANGLE is a limited-time boxed set of full-length novels!
SIX books of torn desire from bestselling authors, including...
DAMAGED by Willow Winters COMMITMENT by T.K. Leigh TAKEN by Natasha Knight A LITTLE LIKE DESTINY by Lisa Suzanne ONE IS A PROMISE by Pam Godwin SURVIVAL OF THE RICHEST by Skye Warren
Willow started writing after having her little girl, Evie, December 2015. All during her pregnancy with Evie she continued to read and she only wanted to read romance. She was reading a book a day — sometimes two.
In January 2016 Willow was staying up late with Evie and just thinking of all these stories. They came to her constantly so she finally sat down and just started writing. She always wanted to do it so she figured, why not? Today Willow cannot be happier for making that decision!
Dannielle “Danni” Angelo is one heroine you most likely want to be your BFF. Her naughty sense of humor… her wisecrack one-liner or two… her inner turmoil is something you'll find refreshing. She will keep you entertained and captivated as you read this book.
In One is a Promise, we take a glimpse of what happened to Danni’s life and why it is hard for her to move on to another relationship. Danni thought she found her forever in Cole Hartman but suddenly life plays a trick and her forever was gone.
Then came Trace Savoy, literally barged into her life or should I say on her date and demand her immediate attention to discuss her employment. As Danni learned he’s her new boss. But Danni is not the kind of woman who will bend down to anyone’s command. The witty-sexy-banter between these two are really cute, funny and full of sexual tension. The attraction between Danni and Trace is undeniable. So many things happened before these two made it as a couple. Finally, Danni is happy with her life with Trace, and then someone from her past comes back.
But there’s one twist I didn’t see coming and I can’t wait to know the answer to that hanging question at the end. I hate to be in Danni’s shoes right now, but I want also to know the truth.
What a great start of a series! It was an enjoyable read from start to finish, the pacing is steady and you won’t get bored pinky promise! Characters that are adorable like Danni’s niece Angel, you’ve got to meet her. Oh, and since Pam Godwin wrote this expect some scorching scene that will leave you hot and bothered. It’s always time well-spent reading a book by this author and this new series is no exception. Can’t wait for Two is a Lie. If you haven’t read a book by this author I highly recommend this series because it’s worth it!
Review for Survival of the Richest
The story was so good that captivates me right from the start. The unexpected love triangle kept me glued to every scene. I loved the way the story unfolded. I’ve laughed, cried, swooned, and even became frustrated at times but so worth it. Can't wait to start The Evolution of Man to see what will happen to Harper, Christopher and Sutton's story. Survival of the Richest is definitely worth reading!
Love triangles are one sure source of drama. And of good entertainment if they are written by these authors.
I can share my opinion of two books in this bunch.
Reading a book by Skye Warren is a pleasure on so many levels. Deep, subconscious, beautiful levels. There are so many things to love about this story. The sharp triangle of a woman torn between an unrequited love and a new powerful man who truly pursues her. The desperate longing to be valued and loved by a man who pushes her away in a twisted sense of righteousness. The sensual awakening, the subtle layers of male pride and desire.
To me, this story goes to all those places with masterful intensity, yet it also goes beyond to create a female soul full of light, sorrow, creativity and wonder. I absolutely loved Harper, the artist in her, the feminist voice of her inner thoughts, her love for a place whose ruined splendor called for an act of saving heroism.
As to whom would I choose? Sutton is presented as this charismatic, all-man alpha male who sees the potential in Harper. Of course, you’re going to root for this perfect specimen who can master a woman’s body. This novel is quite partial to him. Though if you read first the prologue, Trust Fund, you’ll do one thing and one thing only. Fall in love with Christopher.
My admiration and compassion are for Harper. That woman is the epitome of vulnerable, strong heroine.
The final part of this drama pulses with sacrifice and loss and surprises and betrayal. Not until the very last pages do you realize the whole truth about these two men, and it was glorious. I’m completely consumed by Harper’s dilemma.
Now, the book by Pam Godwin. As soon as I got wind of this thrilling romance, I became obsessed with reading it. What’s not to covet about a woman’s heart divided between two worthy men? I had to know how that played out.
From the start, Danni is a relatable character. She’s smart, a free spirit and she will stand up to anyone who tries to tease her. She’s also devastated by the loss of Cole, but trying and failing to regain control over her heart. Until an arrogant Norse god blasts into her life. Wow, that first encounter between Danni and Trace Savoy is mesmerizing. The description of his physique and the power his presence exerts over others was really impressive. The whole writing style is elegant, understanding of the precious feelings of bereavement and the sensuality of the senses reawakening. Of course, it could only be outstaged by Cole and Danni’s bizarre and splendid meeting in the past. I fell in love with both of them and his motorcycle.
Cole’s presence is like a storm, brewing on the horizon with the promise of despair and eternal love. Lost to her, he’s also the knife that slashes the growing, desperate bond between Danni and Trace in half. I loved the provoking dialogues full of wit, twisted humour and gutting emotions. I suffered as this casino-owner hardens his resolve not to give into her temptation because her heart is still in the past. Though his mix of warm gesture of nearness and his cruel disposition to keep her at bay when she’s so needy for love is quite heartless L
What happened in the past is shown in a few chapters interspersed among the present life chapters when Danni meets this emotionally unavailable rich man. The last part is brimming with vicious emotions and angry passion, torn second chances and a plot twist that I had envisioned coming with wicked glee. It’s gloriously soul-wracking. I truly admire the powerful prose. My only complaint is that the last line in this first part of the trilogy feels too abrupt an ending. I’d like it more rounded with some narrative.

DAMAGED by Willow Winters ONE IS A PROMISE by Pam Godwin TAKEN by Natasha Knight SURVIVAL OF THE RICHEST by Skye Warren COMMITMENT by T.K. Leigh A LITTLE LIKE DESTINY by Lisa Suzanne
I've read two of these- Damaged by Willow and Survival of the Richest by Skye. Here's what I thought of those, and looking forward to reading the others in this set, which is free right now.
Damaged This is a heavy book. Not like, weight-wise. It's normal size, especially on a kindle. But the turmoil, angst and heartbreak are super heavy. Like, this was just plain sad. Willow just bummed me out for two hundred something pages. Evan and Kat's marriage is falling apart. He's holding secrets, and the truths he sets free are not any better. Plus she hasn't really put forth effort, either. They have been drifting for awhile before this one thing happens. It just sucks. Not the book- the ending of what is supposed to be two people's HEA. This does not end in a happy way- it's part one of a duet. Willow apparently loves torturing us all, making us really wait for and earn our happy ever afters.
Survival of the Richest- it's really good. Sutton and Christopher and Harper. Not only a love triangle, but they're also trying to work together while having different goals. Harper has a complicated relationship with her parents, and it seems she generally doesn't think of herself first. She's also smarter than she gives herself credit for. Sutton, I'd say is sweet? But there's a moment in this book that shows he knows people underestimate him. He and Christopher are still mysteries to me, but especially Christopher. Like, I don't understand half the things he does. He seems to care so much, but he's closed off and makes hurtful decisions. You definitely will want to read The Evolution of Man afterwards, I was so drawn into their story.
A TASTY SAMPLING OF LOVE TRIANGLES AND TORN HEARTS
During these crazy times just when we need escapist romance more than ever, let’s give a hand to six authors who have gifted us with a tasty sampling of love stories that are dangerous to the heart … and best of all, they’re FREE! What can be more enticing than six books about “torn desire” in an anthology called LOVE TRIANGLE by some of our favorite, trusted authors? Each offering is either part of a trilogy, duet or a series, and enough to whet your appetite for more. THE BOOKS ARE NOT STANDALONES.
My personal favorite:
ONE IS A PROMISE by Pam Godwin This is the lst book in the Tangled Lies Trilogy, and tangled it is. If you think you’ve already experienced all there is in a twisted, romantic triangle … well, think again because you must not have met Pam Godwin. And if you think your heart can’t be torn by promises, lies, and two men, then panty-melting Cole and Trace will convince you otherwise as they grab on hard and won't let the reader go. All is fair in love and war. This book will twist you up like a pretzel, play tricks with your tender heart, and confuse your pheromone-addled mind. How is a woman in love to choose between two completely opposite men? Passion, promises, and impossible choices. If you’re anything like me, your heart will be torn just like Danni’s is, and will flip-flop until the very end of the series. As if the decision isn’t hard enough, circumstances complicate the situation far more than beautiful Danni or the reader could guess. This book of surprises will tease and challenge you mercilessly in typical Pam fashion, and leave you breathless and desperate to continue on with the series.
The other books are also noteworthy:
DAMAGED by Willow Winters ** about a crumbling marriage TAKEN by Natasha Knight ** a darkly delish mafia captive tale SURVIVAL OF THE RICHEST ** two billionaires battle for the heart of a seductive woman COMMITMENT by TK Leigh ** a second chance at romance A LITTLE LIKE DESTINY by Lisa Suzanne ** a contemporary forbidden romance involving a rock star
Do yourself a favor, tap that one-click button right now, lose yourself in some dishy, emotional romance, a heavy dose of love, passion, and angst, and forget about the state of the world for awhile …
I think I am becoming an angst junkie and Pam Godwin is only feeding that addiction and I am not regretting a minute of it! I lost countless hours of sleep, missed several meals, and completely shut out the world while reading this book. #WhoNeedsSleep? #NotMe It consumed my every thought. You can ask my book besties, I talked about it often. I lived and breathed every page. EVERY encounter. EVERY memory that was writing and experienced. It unraveled me chapter by chapter and tore my heart out from devastation and lose only to mend it back together with hope and love. The past and present chapters were woven together perfectly as to make the reader love, hate, yearn, and desire two men right along with the heroine, Danni. #swooning #crying #missing #longing I FELT every emotion Danni was experiencing as if it were my own. The anguish she felt, I literally felt! The happiness she felt, put a huge smile on my face. The desire she experienced was palpable. The angst, the s*xual tension, the teasing and dodging that dominated the storyline had my heart racing and craving more with each chapter read. All the mixed signals between Trace and Danni had me biting my nails with anticipation. I. FELT. IT. ALL.
ONE IS A PROMISE is about finding your second chance, when you never thought that that was possible. It’s about loss. It’s about finding yourself again. It’s about hope. The way that Pam unfolding this “love triangle” is completely unique is every sense of the word. I have NEVER read another love triangle like this one and at this point I DO NOT envy Danni (well maybe a little, I mean 2 hot men? *wink*). The way that the synopsis is written has the reader in continuous anticipation mode. When will the inevitable “catastrophic moment that changes everything” happen, but what we don’t know is the other twists that are in play, that I didn’t see coming. This of course fuels the angst level up and has never yearning for book 2, TWO IS A LIE.
If you’re looking for a story with feeling and depth. A story that will keep you on a rollercoaster of emotions, then THIS is the series for you. I truly believe every romance reader needs to experience this book for themselves.
If you are a fan of complex, emotional reads that offer a heavy dose of angst and heartache that can only come from the complications of a love triangle, this box set of books was created with you in mind. Six full length books by some very popular authors are included. I do feel that it is only fair to tell you though that to the best of my knowledge none of these books is a standalone read. They are all from duets, trilogies or series. Still, this is a great way to take these authors for a test drive and see if their work appeals to you if you are unfamiliar and if you are a fan there is no denying the value here. These books are intense, gut-wrenching and steamy. You can expect lots of emotional turmoil, drama, tension, intensity and even some darkness as you read through this entertaining and enjoyable box set.
So, I didn't get much out of this collection. I had already read the ones that were good...as for the others, well, I had feelings. One is a Promise by Pam Godwin - this one is a definite 4 star for me (I had already read it), as is the entire series. If you haven't read Ms. Godwin yet, do yourself a favor and do it. Survival of the Richest by Skye Warren - another 4 star I had already read. I love this duet and I love Skye Warren. She knows how to write angsty characters that somehow manage not to be cheesy. A Little Like Destiny by Lisa Suzanne - I did not read this one so I don't have a rating for it. I don't like rock star romance. Taken by Natasha Knight - ok, you got me back in it. This was a 4 star. I thought I was going to read the second one because it was initially marketed as a duet but I see it has grown since then and I don't know if I like it enough to buy 2 or 3 or 6 more books. Who am I kidding? Of course I do! Commitment by T.K. Leigh - I didn't finish this one so I can't rate it. It was just too much everything. Too much back story, too much internal thinking, too much description of everything. I couldn't hang. Damaged by Willow Winters - I did not read this because I no longer read Willow Winters. She burned me one too many times and I will not fall for it again.
"LOVE TRIANGLE is a limited - time boxed set of full-length novels! Six books of torn desire from best selling authors. I includes: 1. DAMAGED by WILLOW WINTERS 2. ONE IS A PROMISE by PAM GODWIN "One is a Promise" is the first book of her "Tangled Lies" series and it definitely does not disappoint. Have you read the teaser yet? Then you know there are three players in this tale but what you don't know, and can't until you experience it for yourself, is the emotional rollercoaster with it's panty melting moments this book will take you on. Her characters, including the sub-characters, are so full of genuine personality and emotion they suck you right into the telling. (I have to admit to laughing out loud every time Danni interacts with her niece) I'll definitely be reading the next book, "Two is a Lie" soon! There's no other alternative but to give this book a 5* rating, it's that good.
3. TAKEN by NATASHA KNIGHT 4. SURVIVAL OF THE RICHEST by SKYE WARREN It's been years since they've seen each other. Harper is now an accomplished artist and is getting ready for an exhibit. Christopher is sent an invitation which he surprises her and attends. Her mother and father will both be in the same room at the same time. This event will change their lives forever. Skye Warren has taken these characters though such a maze of events. There were heart breaking moments that brought tears and then such a sexual chemistry that literally jumped off the pages. Throughout this entire book my loyalties bounce but always with the hope of these two coming together. This book ends in a cliffhanger so be prepared. The next one is waiting in the wings to be started as I type.
5. COMMITMENT by T. K. LEIGH 6. A LITTLE LIKE DESTINY by LISA SUZANNE I originally picked up this anthology because two of my favorite authors had books inside. I'm going on the premise the four authors I've yet to be acquainted with will be of just as high caliber and look forward to finishing the entire things. This appears to have hours of enjoyment inside. I would recommend picking up this collection before time runs out.
Book one is about Danni, she is a dancer. She meets Cole and falls in love fast. But after a fast fall he has to go away for business. Only supposed to be gone for a year bad things happen. It is a three book series and I had to quit reading the Anthology to read the other books in the series.
The second book is about Harper. Her father is beyond rich. But that doesn't mean she is. Her mother struggles to get by with her. On her yearly vacation with her father on his boat, he meets his newest stepmother and her son. Christopher, he a very good student and they become friends. Years later she invites him to her art show. Where the unthinkable happens. Leaving her in his mercy. A few years later she meets him again and his business partner Sutton.
The third book in this set is a rock star romance book. Reese is a high school English teacher. Her favorite band has always been Vail. She gets the opportunity to watch them then get backstage. She meets Mark Ashton the lead singer and go home with him. She slips out in the morning and bumps into a very handsome man. Being shaken up she doesn't stay around. She runs into her mystery man for her school fundraiser and they start dating. But she is always thinking about Mark. Brian doesn't hold a candle to him. Then she runs into him again.
The fourth book of this series is about Helena. She is a one of four sisters. Quads actually. There of which are blond and beautiful. She is the different one. Hair so black it looks purple. With a streak of white. On her 21st birthday they are lined up on blocks and sold off to another family. One girl chosen for 3 years of slavery. This story was very captivating.
This story is about young love. Drew is 18 and a hockey player. He has always been drawn to his younger sisters bestfriend Brooklyn. When Brooklyns overprotective father steps in and forces Drew to stay away or face never being able to play hockey again he makes the difficult decision to leave. Years later, after his divorce they are still madly in love and fighting it.
The last book in the Anthology is about Kat she is a publisher that works on her own. She met the man she is married to soon after coming to New York. She knew from the start he was a bad boy. With a reputation to match. It worked in the beginning but not so much when he was filmed with another woman. I loved the poems at the beginning of each chapter.
A group of well written love triangle stories. All of these are part ones of a series of two or three. Most of which I fortunately have read before and I had the follow up books. The stand out book was the one written by tk leigh, it was about childhood friends who are constantly fighting their feelings for one another and when they do try to acknowledge their feelings, something or someone stands in the way. I really liked this story. It was patient and established likable characters who were flawed but endearing.
All the books have great characters and dialogue, good storylines but some contain graphic descriptions of jiggy. One contains abuse towards a woman which is essential to the plot and back story.
Is this worth a look, yes it's a collection of books that have story as the driving force. So why only four stars, if you want to finish the stories you have to purchase the next books.
The whole purpose of his book is to get you hooked to buy other books so you can find out what happened. While here are all full length stories, they are all part one of a series and will leave you frustrated.
Only reason I gave more then one star is that they are well written and good books.
Would not have gotten this if I’d known there wasn’t one HEA. Waste of time and I am disappointed
If you are a fan of love triangles, you need to read this like now! Amazing stories full of everything you need. Phenomenal authors that create the best stories in the best tropes. All stories will wreck you, you will try to find more to read on each story, they are all great and I am sure you will be reading them all in no time. I strongly suggest you prepare yourself to get the rest, it won't be enough. Phenomenal compilation!
I can't resist anthologies. I get to sample different authors without killing my pocketbook. Two of the books were by authors I am very familiar with, Pam Godwin an T.K. Leigh. They are one-click authors for me, no questions asked.
I have added two more to my one-click list after reading Love Triangle over a period of a couple of months when I had a block of time. Great selections. Great Stories. Complete satisfaction.
Didn't realize before picking up this collection that none of the stories are totally complete, meaning that they're starters of duets or trilogies. How disappointing! The first book from Pam Godwin had me so hooked then come to find out that I have to spend more money in order to get the next two books to finish the story. Not to mention all the other stories that are started in this collection will require the same treatment if you enjoyed them.
Love Triangle is the ultimate anthology with stories by my favorite authors. Oh how I was waiting for this anthology to release. I barely could contain myself. I loved every single story. It checkd all my boxes. Hot hero - check fantastic storyline- check outstanding writing - check twists and turns - check scorching hotness - double check I recommend the book, 5 stars.
I hated that each book ended with a cliffhanger. It’s like the authors want you to buy the other books. Other thing that I disliked was cheating in a book. The writing was good. The stories definitely kept you turning the pages.
What a great collection of stories! So many of my favorite authors in one book. Each story had me hooked from the start. I'm so glad I found this collection of stories.
All six of these books were great! The authors were fabulous! Each had a second and sometimes third book to read before the conclusion, but definitely worth it!
Captive audience and creativity. Well written and touching. The good author managed and make the connections between characters and the readers. Recommended
3 stars. These are 6 different books that start getting really good and just end in a cliffhanger. I feel like I’m being played every time the next book starts.
