Just like any good game guide, this book provided turn by turn strategy tips. It explained every step in the game so there are no surprises. It explains the best strategy to use for each necromorph you encounter so your journey can be somewhat of a "peaceful" one.
If you are struggling with the game then this is a good book to have on hand because it will not only explain what the necromorph will do but also what gun to have on hand and how to use it.
This book helped me get through some tough spots and I enjoyed the time I had with it. It also provided great context to the Dead Space story. The book also explains what each different suits, guns, and items do.
At the end of the book it also lists every trophy you can earn in the game. I am glad to say that I got achieved each one already.
If you haven't played this game, its a must! It will not only scare you but keep you hooked the whole time. The story line and graphics and style of playing in this game makes it one of the best horror games every made.
