In order to find a future, they’ll need to put their past behind them.
When Ryan “Needles” Perry left his hometown in Texas as a teenager, he’d had zero intentions of ever returning. But then he never would have guessed that after his father died, his mother would fall for a load of garbage that lands her in one hell of a mess that he needs to come home to clean up. Elizabeth “Bess” Brooks was Ryan’s closest friend growing up and when she finds out his mom is in trouble, she reaches out to tell him. She wants to see his mother safe and will do whatever she can to help, but she vows that it won’t include falling for his rough biker charms. Life hasn’t been kind to either of them in the nineteen years since they’ve seen each other and now they both have secrets that could tear them apart for good, or bond them together forever. But will they survive to find out?
I liked this one, I think what worked for me was how despite being apart for years and having only been friends for most of that time Bess and Needles had a good friendship, one that she felt comfortable going to him when she noticed something odd with his mother. From there things seemed to spin out of control and move fast. I loved how Needles changed his whole life, how he was ready for more with Bess and did something about that, how the MC embraced Needles and his family and Bess. All in all, by the end of the book everyone was in a happy place and bad people had been dealt with.
Finding Needles was my first read by this author but it won't be my last. Absolutely loved the writing and storytelling style. The chemistry and history between Ryan (Needles) and Bess will melt your heart and then speed it up when you get to the steamy scenes. Loved this MC and the brotherhood, the families, secondary characters, and interesting plot with some dark moments but made it almost impossible to put down. One scene brought tears to my eyes. Read it in one day. I need to go back and read the series from the beginning now! 5 fantastic stars!
I enjoyed this story but it seems to me the mistakes are getting worse instead of better. I know the author is from Australia but if your book takes place in the US you kind of owe it to your readers to use an American editor or proofreader.
As for the story itself, I definitely enjoyed Needles and Bess's story. They are definitely a great fit for each other!
I really liked Needles & Bess. I like that they have history together and so much chemistry. The story was interesting, exciting and hot. Look forward to more~
While I'm loving this series I can't help but notice that the earlier books were longer with a lot more details and a lot more going on. Now that is out of the way, on to my review.
Ryan, now known as Needles, and Bess grew up next door to each other and were best friends until Ryan pushed her away. They both left the small town they grew up in. He went to NY and joined the Satan's Knights MC and she went to Florida and ended up working for a law firm. She ended back in the small town damaged and working for her father's law firm.
Grieving widow's and being lonely are the ones who got preyed upon by the worst people and that is what's happening. When it comes to the ones you love you will do anything to help save them but at what cost to yourself?
Bess left her little town in Texas after graduating from high school and went to Miami. Ryan left after a fight with his dad and an accident which hooked him on the drugs given him for his injuries. It took 19 years but they are back in town. Bess called him to let him know his mom was in trouble. Ryan headed back to the local MC to get help. Now with Bess poking her nose into the trouble and trying to keep Ryan from finding out about her pass, life is going downhill fast. Will Bess survive her poking and will Ryan be able to accept her ? Fantastic story and read which have the reader unwilling to put the story down.

I really enjoyed this book, its the tenth in the Charon MC Series, featuring Needles and Bess. Ryan and Bess grew next door to each other and haven’t seen each other in 18 years, until he comes home for his father’s funeral, they get together, and he leaves again. A month later Bess is calling him back because his mother is in danger, Ryan comes home and sparks fly.
This is whay I would call a connector book. It comments Satan's Knights and Sharon MC's. I missed catching up with the Knights but it was nice meeting the new MC.
Needles, who Elizabeth calls Ryan. And Ryan. All's her Bess. They had know each other since, well, since forever. They lived next door to each other.
needles moves back to Texas with his daughter Ashlynn. He had been informed his mother was in trouble and boy, was shr?
I was surprised that he was from another club and came back there 2 where he used 2 live 2 find out info about what his mom was pulling. Elizabeth did the rt thing but she went through hell in her past. At least she survived I just wish she could still do things that she wants for her but her asshole ex really fucked shit up!! But will he get the justice he deserves cause of what he pulled on her? I really loved his daughter!! Paybacks a bitch especially 2 sum people that r really evil!!
Truly enjoyed this. Another fab favourite of khloe wren. From a completely different out look of needles being a prospect and moving clubs. We have had no previous introduction to who he truly was. It really make the hairs of my arms go up getting exciting ti learn who he was and his story. Let alone the sad past of poor Bess. Really worth the read. And very refreshing
the series was ok, but I should have quit after the first 3 because after that it went downhill. Not bad just not what I expected and most are 2 or 3 star reads
whore room...very odd that you keep them in a room until 10 at night, when are they expected to return? Yes a member can visit them but this is a room for sex so if a member comes in everyone else just watches? GROSS
While I normally get sucked into the books by this author, I really had a hard time getting into this book. The characters and plot were both good, but for some reason, it just didn't really hold my attention.
Another good instalment from this series. So many new faces and also catching up with everyone at the Charon Mc. Lots happening here. Looking forward to reading the next book
Khloe's Wren has written an exciting, intriguing, fast paced book that is an excellent read. The characters are so well written they feel like friends.
Damn I wish they had found someone to inflict the same pain in Godfrey he inflicted on that poor boy. It's a good thing that Bess's ex died before Needles found him or he would have met some Charon justice.I love how Sassy the little girls are and so funny.
This was a great addition to the series! I loved Needles and Bess is such a fighter. She shows some serious grit and tenacity when she is digging around finding clues to take down Godfrey. I love their story and I am super glad they find their way back to each other!
I liked this book. Unfortunately I didn’t know I was to read Rite of Passage by Janine Infante Bosco first. I have no problem with these cross overs but I just wish I knew about it first.
You, Khloe Wren have written another awesome book to add to your fantastic Charon MC series. You have certainly packed a lot of action into this read! The characters are very well written, the storyline is believable, there is humour, tears and anything else you would care to add! So hang tight for an exciting read.

WOW talk about an exciting ride; Finding Needles had all my emotions on high alert. The author has done an amazing job writing a storyline that kept me reading non-stop until I hit the end. From the kids to the MC guys and their ol’ ladies, the characters were well defined to the point I wanted to hate them at times and hug them at others.
Ryan “Needles” Perry is a complicated man. He returns home when Bess, his childhood best friend who we met in the crossover book Rite of Passage, calls and tell him his mother is in trouble. Little does he know his return home is going to turn his whole world upside down. He returns asking for and getting help from the Charon MC and Bess. The intensity builds as things turn from bad to worse endangering everything Needles holds dear.
This is a very intense, exciting MC romance that you don’t want to miss out on. Watching Needles come into his own is simply amazing. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars for a great read this I highly recommend grabbing up ASAP. You won’t regret it.
Bess is her father's legal secretary and makes a decision that could cost her both her career and her job with her father. She makes a call to save the future of a woman she has known her entire life, and calls Ryan aka Needles her best friend from childhood to tell him her worries. Despite his complicated relationship with his mother, immediately makes arrangements and heads to Texas and gets help from Charon's MC a local club. Between the digging that Bess does and the club helping Ryan does. They are able to find out just how dark the plot is behind the so called Reverend and church is that is praying on Ryan's mom really is.
By the end of the story, Ryan has saved Bess from the Reverend as well as several others unexpectedly, has made the decision to move himself and his daughter from NYC to Texas permanently, and has become an advanced proby to the Charon's.
Overall, the book was amazing and I would highly recommend this as fascinating and scintillating read.

This was an amazing and intense read by Khloe Wren. This is my first in the series and I will definitely be reading the previous books. Bess works for her father as a legal secretary and when she realizes a client is in danger she does the only thing she can. She calls the one person she hoped to avoid-her childhood best friend Ryan. His mother is still grieving the loss of her husband when she becomes brainwashed by her minister. Ryan and Bess spent the night together when he came home for his dad's funeral after which Bess sent him away. Bess came home from Miami after she suffered a traumatic event that she has never told anyone about. This event has caused Bess to keep herself isolated from almost everyone. Even her parents do not know what she went through. When Ryan comes home to save his mom with the help of the local MC, will he be able to save his mom and find out what Bess is hiding?
Elizabeth has returned her hometown to live and to work with her father as a legal secretary. She is running from her past where evil persisted and caused trauma. She is hoping to heal while still hiding a dark secret. Ryan "Needles" a longtime friend of hers returns to town for a funeral. They hook up for a night then she sends him on his way back to New York. Enter a new man in Ryan's grandmother's life, her minister. After the minister makes some interesting requests Elizabeth calls Ryan to come home as something is not right. From then on chaos breaks out. What will happen? Will Elizabeth overcome her past? Will she and Ryan get together? And what is up with the pastor? Read this exciting book to find out!

There are so many twists and turns to this story will keep you riveted until the very last page and leave you begging for more.I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes and makes you feel their emotions and their pain.I can hardly wait to see whats next by this multi talented author.

Oh man. Ryan and Elizabeth. Needles and Bess. They grew up friends, they had a one-nighter a month ago, but now danger lurks and Needles is brought back to Texas to handle business. These two are explosive! Khloe Wren dragged me under and didn't let me out of the vortex of this book until the very end. And she is not afraid to write some very tough scenes, and she does so in a way that guts you. But her characters always get vengeance. If you come after someone that is loved by a Charon, you come after them all. That is a lesson learned the hard way by many who've come across this MC, and it's a lesson our baddie learns well.
#10 in the Charon MC series, I was not disappointed. I can only think, "What next?"
I am not a fan of Second Chance romance books. I find they are normally filled with ongoing angst over past hurts. This was definitely not the story with Finding Needles. Ryan, aka Needles, left for New York after dropping out of school and having to make his own way. Bess left the small town to try and make a life in Miami. Both return years later and find themselves faced with a shady preacher, murder and MC life. Loved the characters and the suspense so much as soon as I was done, I immediately read another book in the series.

When I first met Needles I seriously hated him, he was this horrible man. But as his story progresses his character, past and all, comes out and changed my feelings towards him. Helping his mum out of a very scary mess, some of which had me shuddering I might add, and spending time with a certain someone changes him, for the better in my opinion. And Bess, I mean what an amazing woman....
The storyline is amazing, the world and characters are completely believable and it feels like Needles was always meant to be a Charon.
Wow! Couldn't put this down, seriously. Ryan "Needles" Perry isn't an easy man to love, just ask him. He's hard, crass and convinced that he is missing the gene that leaves him open to love. A call from his childhood friend Bess has him returning home to save his mother from losing everything to a con man. In working to save his mom, he learns there is little more important than family, and opening his heart to it. This book has it all, action suspense heartache, and yes love. Definitely a must read and an awesome crossover from the Satan's Knights!
Initially I didn't feel a great deal of empathy for this couple, Bess and Needles (Ryan). But the clever writing by Khloe Wren soon changed my mind and I was unable to put this book down until I had finished. The development of the two main characters was believable and the inclusion of the members of the Charon MC was welcome. Love the continuing theme that families are not always related and are not perfect, but are still worthy of love and caring. Thanks Khloe, another winner.
