In my insulated world, determination, wealth…happiness isn’t limited by the color of your skin but the size of your bank account. I was raised with the mindset that there is nothing in this world I can’t have. Don’t get me wrong—I have problems, family issues, but nothing that can’t be resolved. A chance encounter opened my eyes and initiated a tempest around me. I am Harper Hodges and he is the eye of the storm.
If you don’t stand with me you stand against me. I suffer no one but my own kind, white pure blood Anglo-Saxon Americans. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against other races, their inferiority is not my problem. Until I met her. She opened my eyes and I no longer see the world in black and white. I am Dachs Neumann and to keep her safe I will strike down even those closest to me.
Be careful what you wish for.

3.5 stars I kind of struggled to finish this story. Both main characters Dachs and Harper were very annoying. She doesn’t listen well and demonstrated a lack of common sense in some areas as well as him. I was also expecting more from the ending or epilogue. It seemed rushed.
3.75 Stars. (BW/WM). A kindle e-book. An immovable object (intolerance and hatred ) meets an irresistible force ( acceptance and love). The hero, Dachs Neumann, is a first generation German American; but unlike like his parents, Dachs has no tolerance for Blacks and people other races. He doesn’t hate people of other races, he believes that Blacks and others diminish Whites and robs them of jobs and other advancements; therefore the White race should be separate and apart from all minorities. Dachs is an electrical apprentice journeyman who lives with his parents and occasionally works in his family’s Pierogi Shoppe; but he prefers to attend meetings with an Aryan brotherhood White supremacy group. The heroine, Harper Hodges, is a boogie upper middle class Harvard Senior who has her own 2 bed room condo in the affluent part of town and who drives a BMW. When Harper’s BMW breaks down, her father refuses to buy her a new car and insists that she take the Train resulting in her seeing and instantly becoming attracted to and stocking Dachs. They eventually have conversations where they express their view on race issues and his affectation with White Nationalism. Their mutual attraction persists over their opposing views on race issues and over the tragedy of a violent occurrence. The immovable moves and the irresistible force of love consumes both Dachs and Harper.

Dachs had so much hate in him that it was oozing from his pores. His narrow mindedness and bigotry was repulsive.
The whole time I was thinking that his attraction is based on fascination or lust. There is no way someone so jaded and dogmatic in their beliefs can change. It’s just not realistic. However, the authors were able to make me believe in the impossible. It is unfortunate that it took tragedy and betrayal for Dachs’ evolution to take place. Great writing.
Honestly, throughout the majority of the book I thought Harper was “special”, and not in a good way. I guess it takes a special type of crazy to love and accept insanity.
The story concludes with a HFN and not a HEA ending. 4.5 stars.
Heed the ✍'s warnings, as this book is NOT for the faint hearted , easily offended, pearl clutching readers with triggers😎 The story is equal parts raw, gritty, tender, passionate 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥& hopeful. Dachs & Harper found love & redemption against the greatest odds! You will cheer for their HEA🍷
This was a difficult story to read, it took me several days to finish. When I began reading it I truly believed that I would not finish it. Ultimately this book is about love. An excellent job by this author. I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
This was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. It had some really harsh language and emotions. But , I'm glad it didn't shy away from cold hard reality.
Too much sex. There was no real conversation at all. Just a lot of sex. The romance and relationship didn't develop. It would be nice to read a BWWM romance novel that was about an actual re!authorship and not just SEX. It's very stereotypical and borderline offensive.
I had some problem accepting this trope, finding redemption after believing in white superiority for years. However, this author breaths new life into this space and you find yourself against all odds rooting for Dachs and Harper.
Honestly every book I've read from this author has been amazing. When I started reading this book I already knew I was going to love it. Please continue to write your amazing story Ursula. This book is a read!
Don't judge a book by the cover. Literally. I almost didn't pick this one due to the icky cover. But I'm glad I did. Great story from beginning to end.
I liked the plot and the way that the storyline flowed. I really love book that don't have many typos in them. Not that I remember seeing any in this story. When will Quite Strength be available?
