A very interesting book about an incredibly interesting animal. The information given in this book was pretty shallow overall. I would highly recommend it for a child interested in wolves. The most worthwhile part of the book for my were the breathtaking photos, in which this book displayed in abundance.

This book is just over 20 years old and I was very happy to learn how wild wolf populations have increased since then. Somewhere Patrick Hook is happy about that.. Or in a twisted circumstance of irony, he has been killed and eaten by wolves. I am sure that is how would have wanted to go.
