Very hot! 🔥 After all of the secrets come out, things get mixed up a little more. Lines are crossed and hot sweaty times are indulged. Each book in this series is told from different vantage points. I can't decide if I prefer it but in the end, it works. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
ONE SIZZLING ROLLERCOASTER RIDE!!! Holy hot sauce! Anna brought it with this tough as nails wild ride, delivering one skillfully composed and sinfully compelling spin, thrusting every sentiment and nuance into play, wrapping this baby up sleek, shiny and tight. Anarchy, escapades and havoc run amuck, kicking this bad boy into a raging tempest, blasting it into a tailspin with a mind-blowing culmination. Braided, bound and entangled, exposing the explosive ups and agonizing downs, grounding in it's strength and awe inspiring in it's depth. Navigating the intimidating trials and challenging tribulations, displaying shocking twists and wicked turns, putting our characters through their paces, testing them in ways they could have never envisioned. The intense chemistry and undeniable attraction flows from the pages, bringing the heat and magic until you feel the electrifying hum running rampant through your veins. The characters, banter, dialogue, interactions and charged atmosphere along with relatable qualities and individual traits, blend and flow, transforming into genuinely approachable personalities. The scenes are written with such realism, impressive talent and unique insight, blasts this sparkling jewel to life, making the storyline pop. Awesome job Anna, thanks for sharing this little treasure with us.
I think I might be the first one on Goodreads to review this book, and not be an ARC reader.
One Night, is a story about a group of Canadian couples in their 30s. The author uses multiple POVs, which I normally dislike, but here it actually works pretty well. This book picks up and continues the Mexican vacation that these couples have been on in the previous book of the series, One Week. The first (One Summer) and second (One Week) books in this series probably should be read first in order to sort out the characters, but One Night also holds up as a stand-alone.
As for the story, the featured couple here is Matt and Emmy, who are just dating. The other couples on this vacation are married swingers. Emmy, a young, divorced single mom, is the more interesting of the two. One of the swinging husbands, Billy, turns out to be Emmy's long-lost teenage lover who disappeared from her life due to a family move. When she runs into Billy at the Mexican resort, they end up sleeping together. Concurrently, Matt gets with Jasmine, his old, best friend who he grew up with. Jasmine also is one of the swinging wives on vacation. Given the highly sexual environment, Matt sleeps with Jasmine.
And that's the story in a nutshell.
In terms of spice scenes, this book is loaded to the gills with them. However, it would have been nice if they were more passionate, and less mechanical. Thankfully, none of the spice scenes slide into debauchery.
A meeting with old friends turns into more when they discover more connections between them.
This is book three of the series, but it works fine as a standalone.
This is novella length erotic story featuring partner swapping. As with everything else I have read by the author, the story is well written, easy to read and very steamy. The characters are also well developed and realistic, which makes the entire scene come together. The characters all have good chemistry, but the question is always will it change things for our couples. We get lots of steam and an overall enjoyable read. I look forward to seeing what our author comes up with next.
Highly recommended.

A week in Mexico with great friends, what more can one hope for? Matt is moving on from his divorce and eager to introduce his new girlfriend, Emmy to his friends. Turns out that there is some additional connections and Emmy is not a stranger to everyone, she knows his best friend, Billy, intimately. This trip becomes more than just a vacation when one night, everyone becomes closer than they thought was possible. Will this strengthen or destroy these relationships? A great story with captivating characters. Enjoy!

One Night is the third book in the One series. I had not read the first two books before this one so I was not sure if this book would be a continuing story-line but center on different characters. It seems to be that but at the same time I was able to pick up the story to at least understand what was happening and who the "players" were. If you like to read steamy erotica then this book definitely delivers on that. But there is also an interesting story-line and some fun characters.

This was a great story. It was steamy and hot and I fell in love with the characters. This was the first book I've read about these characters but I saw that there are more books with the same characters. I will definitely check them out. I have never read a book about swinging couples but found that I really enjoyed this story and might have to check more out in the future.

I've read a lot of books written by Anna Ellis; she has done a great job at writing another good book; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the chemistry between the characters.

Fantastic story! Characters that will steal your heart. A storyline that keeps you on the edge of your seat and glued to your kindle! For me it was a love- hate deal as the characters face their demons. You will feel their emotions and struggles. A definite must read.

Matt and Emily discover what their friends have been getting up to behind their backs, and initially are shocked, but then realise that participating themselves could allow some fantasies to come true.
Emily and Matt also realise some hard truths about their own relationship, and what they want going forward.
