Her dark magic is growing. Can she keep it under control and confront a deadly enemy?

Adeline wishes she had someone to turn to. But as the young witch’s powers develop, she knows her non-practicing warlock father would be no help. Especially since her first night as a full witch ended with a missing person, a knife, and clothes covered in blood…

Seeking out a support group for fellow witches, Adeline starts to uncover the past of her family’s magic. With unexplained mysteries at every turn, the new witch isn’t sure if she’s facing down an ancient evil or if she’s the one who should be stopped.

Can Adeline prevent her black magic from spreading, or will she somehow cause a paranormal catastrophe?

Witches Anonymous is the first book in an amusingly dark YA urban fantasy series. If you like unfettered magic, malevolent threats, and a dash of humor, then you’ll love C.K. Johnson’s twisty supernatural tale.

A Credible World of Magic

Johnson has created a vivid world of everyday supernaturalism where the old world superstitions of magic bleed into the modern era and a teenaged girl not only worries about her feelings for the-warlock-next-door but her part in a ritual that threatens her family and all beings in all communities. This world is very easy to fall into and believe.
