As a registered dietitian who works with thyroid patients, and a thyroid patient myself, I found this book to be a good overview of thyroid-related conditions, treatments, and nutritional considerations in this population. I would have liked to see more discussion on integrative and functional approaches to prevention and management of thyroid disease (which are mentioned in some parts of the book and in summary in the final chapter), although I understand the need to be a little more conservative since the book was published in conjunction with the AND.
