I met Beth at a conference a few years ago where we were both speaking. I went out and bought her book at the table. To be honest, I don’t remember the last time I did that.
This is a 40 day devotional with a focus on missional living. I am going to recommend to our missions agency that we use this book as a gift for those going on short term trips as a primer for the trip.
It is not a Bible study. It is a devotional and it accomplishes exactly what we hope devotionals do which is drive people to seek the Lord.
My only stick point, which is minor, is the order of the reflection question every day. I want to focus on God, then me.
But I’m grateful for this resource. Well done and thank you, Beth.

This devotional was good- quick daily devotionals. I must have had the wrong expectations for it because they weren’t as deep as I was looking for. But it probably just wasn’t a good fit for my needs. So many a 3 star is unfair.

My church hosted this as a bible study and though the author is a member I don’t know her personally but a lot of ladies I know do. It reads more like a memoir with a few practice tips of action plans to grow your faith.

Such an awesome devotional! I loved how after each day we were left with a challenge to live out what we read about that day. It definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone and caused me to grow. Would 100% recommend!!
