A Constitution "If You Can Keep it!"

Rate this book
This book goes over the Constitution one line and discusses what the Signers intended. The Constitution is a legal contract between the Government and the People. The document itself cannot legally be changed, but can be added to per contract law. Because of this, there are some Amendments where all or parts are actually illegal, un-Constitutional and should be repealed. I did know know that before reading this book. This is just one thing that I learned. There is much more.

From the back cover of the book:

"This book will help everyone, man, woman or child, to get an important grasp of Constitutional principles. If we know and understand the Constitution, government officials will think twice before violating it. A great read and very informative."
-Lonnie D. Crockett, Ph.S. Professor of American History

This is an excellent book that was designed as a homeschool textbook to study our US Constitution. It discusses each part and Amendments to the Constitution explaining what parts that are not well understood today with the word/phrase meanings of the time of the writing. Test questions are included as well as a detailed index enabling the reader to go back to study/reference points or topics later on. The book has large print and is easy to read.
