Bohemian Patience

Rate this book
Being a gypsy means going into an arranged marriage.
My siblings fought against it, but not me.
Having a woman who was raised to be a wife, a mother, and warm body for me to sink into? Sounded good to me.

Unfortunately, my new wife is not what I was expected.
She’s mouthy, bratty, and gets on my last nerve.
But I’m no quitter and I’m not afraid to put in the work.

So, I romanced my wife. I gave her time and space. I had patience.
I realized she was fighting a much bigger battle than I had even known.
She’s spent her life being told she’s evil and cursed.

That’s not who she is.
She’s beautiful, smart, and has big dreams.
She’s more than a bride to be sold off. More than a prize to be won.
Now, more than ever, I’m determined to be her champion.

The only thing she wants is freedom.
And now that she has it, will she choose me?

Throughout the reading of this book the song Patience by Take That played in my mind.

𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐞
Because that's exactly how I felt while reading the book.
Freedom needed patience and Patience needed freedom 🖤

Freedom and Essie's story is everything. On one hand I wanted to take it slow and enjoy each word and on the other I wanted to devour it and gallop down their story.
Their story is one of the best I've read lately and I will definitely do a re-read 📚

Freedom feels overwhelmed by his dad's demands and expectations so he finds himself at Mami's asking to have a Tarrot cards reading.

𝑺𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒊𝒄𝒌𝒔 𝒊𝒕 𝒖𝒑 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒔 𝒊𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒎𝒆. 𝑰𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝑻𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒘𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒏 𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒐𝒕𝒕𝒐𝒎 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒍 𝒊𝒔 𝒑𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒘𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒄𝒖𝒑 𝒕𝒐 𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓. “𝑰𝒕’𝒔 𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒐 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆.”

He is the whole package. He's kind, loving, dependable, thoughtful, hardworking man, hot as hell with his manbun and long fingers flicking his coin constantly. He's my new book boyfriend. When Essie comes along you could tell that he gears up for the ride of his life.

𝑯𝒆𝒓 𝒔𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒆 𝒔𝒖𝒄𝒌𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒂𝒊𝒓 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒎𝒚 𝒍𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒔, 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒔 𝒎𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒏, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒌𝒊𝒄𝒌𝒔 𝒎𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒏𝒖𝒕𝒔. 𝑨𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆.

Essie is the young free spirited soul who wanders around in her cutoff shorts and loss shirts, with colorful tattoos and piercings. Sassy, bitchy and guarded. Essie has been told her whole life she has a dark soul and her only saving grace is her grandmother Mami who keeps her grounded. When Freedom steps into her life she fights, hard. But when something happens and Freedom is the one who saves her she knows she has no chance of winning her own battle.

𝑯𝒊𝒔 𝒉𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒚 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒉𝒊𝒎, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒇𝒖𝒄𝒌 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕. 𝑰 𝒅𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒂 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒐. 𝑰’𝒗𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒄𝒖𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒎𝒚𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂 𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆.

These two Gypsies want more of their lives at the compound and with the help of each other they find their way to get their dreams and hopes come true.

𝑰𝒕’𝒔 𝒉𝒊𝒎. 𝑯𝒆’𝒔 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒎𝒆. 𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒔 𝒎𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒂𝒔 𝑰 𝒅𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒂𝒅𝒎𝒊𝒕 𝒊𝒕, 𝑰 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒂𝒕 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝒂𝒄𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘𝒍𝒆𝒅𝒈𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒎𝒚𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑰 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒊𝒕.

The supporting characters gave this story another dimension. Knowing what happened with Leander&Mark and Thea&Law made the reading fun and having these characters interwoven in this story made it whole.

The background story of both Freedom and Essie broke my heart. How much does a person can take until his spirit is broken completely?! How much does a person can suffer until he gets his happy ending?

This book made me laugh with all of Freedom's antics and Essie stubbornness. Made me hurt with them when they had no one there in their corner. Made me smile big to watch them find each other and have their HEA.

𝑾𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒃𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒌 𝑫𝒂𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑫𝒆𝒋 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒍𝒆 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒎𝒚 𝒇𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒉, 𝑭𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒅𝒐𝒎 𝒊𝒔 𝒑𝒖𝒕𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒏𝒆𝒘 𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒔, 𝒄𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝒊𝒏 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆.

This is a well written masterpiece, a page turner and a must read! The story will suck you in and you wouldn't need to come up for air it so addictive.

Sorry had to get that out the way.

This is one of my fave books from this series.

This couple is #goals!

Freedom and Essie are the epitome of soulmates, of fate crossing their path, of what’s meant to be meant to be.

Their growth, not just their relationship but the growth they both do was awe inspiring. The way Essie glowed, hell her soul sang with Freedom.

I honestly didn’t want this story to end, I need more from them, we only got a glimpse of their HEA and I need more of it. More of their spark, chemistry and light.

This family series is one of my fave to follow along and will continue to do so.

The Traveler series by Misty Walker is quickly becoming a favorite of mine! She draws us more deeply into her gypsy world in Bohemian Patience. I loved how fierce and sassy the heroine was and how the hero, Freedom, relentlessly pursued her. He knew their happily ever after was in the cards...he just had to convince her first! I think arranged marriage tropes are such a juicy storyline and Bohemian Patience did not disappoint! This book was such a magical treat that will have you smiling, tearing up, and fanning your face! Five FOREVER FREEDOM stars!

So what I am trying to say.... is I absolutely LOVED this book!! I am so fascinated by the Gypsy life, and Freedom and Patience story is now my favorite!!!

The banter, the sexiness of Freedom and the sassy ass mouth of Patience had me rolling with laughter at times and fanning myself later, cuz the sexual tension was smoldering HAWT!! 🔥🔥🔥

5 "Favorite Couple" Stars! Misty I hope you write more of their story cuz I really didn't want this book to end! 💞

description

Bohemian Patience was a really fun and engaging arranged marriage New Adult romance. Even though the characters are young I found both of them to be really mature for their age and I enjoyed seeing them grow as individuals and as a couple. Freedom is very attracted to Essie and doesn't really mind the arranged marriage to her, however, Essie doesn't want anything to do with him. She has dreams and thinks that Freedom will hinder her in achieving them.

But she doesn't know that Freedom will become her biggest supporter. Essie does her best to resist Freedom and even when he agrees with her on things and lets her be free, she doesn't fully trust him. She is waiting for the other shoe to drop, but Freedom step by step shows her that she can trust and open up to him. This was my first book by this author and I really enjoyed her writing style. The characters were very likable and I was able to fully connect with them.

This was my first book by this author and let me tell you, IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! It’s literally one of my top 2020 reads. It was exactly what I needed at the moment. I love when stories allow me to connect with the love the couple has in the book. For me this book had simple living and simple loving and that’s something that I desire for myself, so it just allowed me to fall deeper in love with this story. I also LOVE that they live in a trailer/RV/van hahaha. I’m so making my future husband do that for a year just for fun. Hahaha.

This story was so interesting too because of the Gypsy culture. I didn’t know much on it and there was so many details in this book that allowed me to understand it. Freedom and Essie were both raised differently within the culture. Essie believes in fortunes, spells, and magic. And as for Freedom he doesn’t practice all that. The tug and pull between the characters was so hilarious, but frustrating as heck. Freedom wanted her and she didn’t. She felt her only way out was if she agreed to marry Freedom and then leave him.

Freedom is a top book husband. No, seriously. He’s so amazing. He tries and tries and tries some more, to get Essie to love him. He just wants to have a simple life with so much love.

Essie was so freakin bratty it was so frustrating, BUT when we uncover those layers I just wanted hug her. She was always pushed away and made to seem like she was evil and not enough.

Their chemistry is beautiful and steamy. Well at first, it’s bantering and heated moments. I love how they become one and Freedom just wants to give her everything she wants. He reaches outside of their own living and culture to make her happy and that makes him happy.

I do have to say Freedom might be kind and a gentleman in the streets, BUT in the sheets... that man is pure dirty and I WAS LIVING FOR IT!!

Holy WOW … this story was amazing but even better, I didn’t even see it coming. Also, this world (and I know I said this before) is amazing! This story is unique and so incredibly uplifting and inspiring. I honestly have never read anything even close to this and it makes me super happy because every time this author’s name comes up I know I am not only going to get a well written story, but it will also most assuredly be a unique story-line!

Freedom and Essie’s story was not only a story I enjoyed; it was a story of two people that I was actually rooting for as if they were my friends. I was invested. The style and voice of this author captured me, and her words painted a picture in my mind that I wanted to live in! All three of these books have been amazing! I just cannot say that enough!

o.k – a moment of truth – I l o v e MW's books and I loved her other books so it was clear to me I would read Bohemian Patience as soon as it comes out
this is a series of standalones so you don't have to read BOHEMIAN LAW and BOHEMIAN MARK in order to read this book but I highly recommend you do – they are great!
I love the Traveler series' men – I am seriously considering moving to Reno because of them!

Essie is a young gypsy woman – she is smart and talented and beautiful and she lives with her father and step mom who resent her, believe she has dark heart and that they need to marry her ASAP so she will be someone else' problem. Mind you – they have no problem asking her to babysit, cook or do other chores. Thank god she has her grandmother 'Mami' who took active role in her past and present and teaches her how to heal people.
She has her dreams, but how can she fulfill them if they keep her at home – she never went to school, doesn't know how to drive and has no ID – officially - she does not exist – but she had enough – she will not be bossed around and she has a voice! She agrees to marry just as a means to get away
Freedom is Thea and Leander brother from the other books. Not like them, he is happy in the gypsy's world, he loves the way of life, loves the costumes and this is why he agrees to marry when offered. It is time, but before he does that – he goes to card reading where he is told he needs patience. Well, this is an understatement when it comes to his wife.
He does not know her birth date, he does not know her age, and he does not know her real name
! she is sassy, stubborn, passionate and hot… But Freedom is amazing – he is smart and determined to make this work – he is loving and caring and hot and he is stands for her – he is her rock.
I fell in love with both of them! They were meant to be! I was with them with their struggle to find their place in the world and to find who they were as people and as a couple, loved how hot they were together and loved how they handled the challenges they faced
I loved the Secondary characters!!
I already knew most of them but they organic to the story even if you haven't.
I laughed so much at the "guess what is her name game" they have and the relationship in that alternative tribe they make and my heart goes to Law – her brother-in-law and what they put him through, hhh
"Words have power, Thoughts send out intentions" – you create your own destiny
- This is a great read, can't wait for more books Misty!

I love the back and forth and undercurrent of hot chemistry that comes with these two characters not “choosing” each other but being entered into an arranged marriage. I love the fight and fire!

Freedom is all man AND he’s also thoughtful, smart and kind. He’s not a doormat by any means. He can stand up and lay down the law when needed.
Essie is clever, prickly, independent and a bit rebellious. I loved uncovering her past and understanding why she was that way.
The two of them together are smoking hot and extremely entertaining! Great chemistry and heated arguments make this an exciting and fun arranged marriage romance in the very interesting and unique Romani/gypsy culture.
I felt for their struggles, laughed at their stubbornness and felt so happy when they had triumphs.
Secondary characters are incredible. Most have been in previous books in the series.(I recommend reading these in order for full enjoyment)
Mami was a new character, Essie’s grandma and she is so wise, lovable and irreverent. She’s incredible!Love her! She added so much to the story.
I love that the main characters aren’t stereotypical romance characters and I love their journey. Definitely recommend it!!

Why the fuck is essie so annoying. This book was supposed to test Freedom ( the hero) s patience but it tested my patience ugh. This story is about Essie who was born in a Romani family, she was not allowed to make decisions in her life because her dad made it all and now she is forced to marry Freedom because their parents chose it. ok like i get it Essie’s life is hard and she was not allowed to make a choice for herself but she keeps blaming Freedom for all her problems when he was trying to help her. Freedom is a good dude, he was really patient with her and did everything to make their marriage work but Essie from the beginning kept making him feel like shit. I mean she says she wants to make a change and doesnt want ppl to make decisions for her but she keeps lashing out at everyone, literally everyone who tries to talk to her or ask her anything. She is really aggressive, and can bark but no bite. Like girl if u want to make a change then do something rather than yelling. She blames Freedom for everything, literally everything, even for asking her real name. Like tf. First u say u want to make ur own decisions, then marry the dude cuz if u dont ur dad ll throw u out. DO SOMETHING AND NOT YELL ALL THE TIME. I swear to god if Freedom even cheats on her at this point i wont blame him cuz she keeps yelling at him 24/7 while he tries to help her.

Sooo adorable! But Mami totally stole the show!

Essie was such a sassy heroine and I adored her love for her half siblings and her perseverance with respect to her father and step-mother.

Freedom was fun and I loved that he cared about Essie enough to give her freedom *hehe* even if that isn’t traditional.

Mami was the best character though! Hands down! So funny and cute!

I would actually be interested in a book with Timbo and Hester since I am curious about a more traditional Romani marriage and it could give the characters a little background.

Overall, great book! Would highly recommend! :)

Misty Walker rocked my world with Bohemian Patience! This has got to be my favorite book from the series by far with its smoldering passion, terrific banter, and two main characters that stole my heart and held my attention from the very first page.

Freedom and Essie were all the things! Their chemistry was electric and pulsated across the pages. I loved these two together and when they were trying so hard to repel each other. Honestly, they were so fun to see fight and then fall for one another.

My one complaint is that this story ended. That’s it. I wished I didn’t have to let them go! This story, characters, and world are just the perfect escape and I never wanted to come up for air! Seriously, if you haven’t started this series yet you are definitely missing out. Five stars.

The first book on this series was the first book I read by this author I fell in love. Not only with her writing but the world she made with these characters. The idea of the gypsies was awesome and to read this one.... it shows us more when it comes to that. I loved it. It was unique and the arranged marriage aspect was so fun.

Freedom was amazing. Not only does his name rock but I loved his entire personality. He was so great when it came to how he dealt with Essie it was awesome. I love that Essie had such a back bone. Yeah I wanted her to give in but I love that she was so independent and wanted her own life while staying true to her roots.

The plot was awesome. It was like nothing I’ve read before and I’ve read a lot. This series is so fresh for me that it helps when I need something different, uplifting with heart and great characters. I did have tears a few times while reading this book. For the most part it was cute and showed two people learning who the other was but this author added in some heart pounding moments. I can’t wait to see who and what is next. 5 stars #2OCCJD

I'm officially naming this author as my favorite new author is 2020. This book is such the perfect addition to this crazy band of gypsies. I love that Essie and Freedom were both fully immersed in the lifestyle because it gave me so much insight into how they function.

This author took us on a fun, emotional ride through reluctant love. This was a perfect arranged marriage book because while it steadily built-up their relationship, it was also so sexy. These two characters explore their way through so many firsts in the sexiest ways. I'm talking heavy petting, "am I doing it right?", shy touches, and exploratory play.

I blew through this book, and can't wait to read more from the fun, quirky book world.

If I want to win the heart of my wife, I’ve got to go to war. And there are no rules in love and war."

I'm just going to jump into this review... I got a lot to say.

I know this book is about the roaming Gypsies. But I truly felt bad for Essie. She was treated like an object. And even though Freedom really liked her. He went along with his customs to have her.

That’s what rubbed me the wrong way about this book. Because Essie just went from one house where her father called all the shots to Freedom’s house, talking on her behalf. I even felt trapped while reading certain parts of this book. Certain phrases like “I let you” were thrown out. And it had me going!

She was given no choice or a voice. This was very much a forced marriage. She had no other choice but to go along with what Freedom wanted to do. I know he’s not a bad guy... but I think.... he could’ve won her over by building up a friendship before they got married. Have her want to be with him willingly. Let her fall for him.

He has no idea what it’s like to grow up a female Romani. No idea what it’s like being told you’re nothing but an addition to a man. First as a daughter, and second as a wife. That’s supposed to be your whole identity. A plus one in life."

I felt this was so much about lust with freedom in the beginning. He thought about himself. Never really thinking about Essie at all. He couldn’t even see how she would feel. I mean... he didn’t even ask basic questions About her. He just saw her looks. The hospital scene was an eye opener.

Didn’t you get the five thousand from my dad to pay for the inconvenience of losing your daughter?” Freedom asks in an accusing tone. My nose stings at the talk of a dowry. Like I’m worth nothing but free labor or a bride price. That’s it. That’s all I amount to in this life. I blink back the tears."

This broke my heart. Because knowing how old she was when this conversation happened. I felt for her. She was truly and utterly trapped. She was like a object and not a person and she felt it.

This book shifted for me I felt somewhere past the half way point. Essie let her guard down. And it allowed Freedom to enter. He showed Essie that he could be the person she could rely on. He build her up and and let her spread her wings. It was all a learning process for both of them.

This book reminded me A LOT of the t.v show Arrange on TLC. Christian and Maria in particular. They too were raised Gypsy. And the struggle poor Maria had in the beginning was hard to watch. Christian was nothing like Freedom. But towards the end of the show... he bent over backwards to fix what he did... how he treated her.

This series has really grabbed ahold of me. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. I have a feeling I know who it’s going to be about. But we will see!!

Its official. Misty Walker is completely underrated. Even though she is a sort of new author, I absolutely believe she will be one of my favorites.
I LOVED Essie and Freedom! So so so much! I laughed throughout the whole book. Talked to myself. Caught myself smiling like a loon more than ever. Freedom was droolworthy. He definitely had the PATIENCE of a saint. I loved the guessing game of Essie's real name. I laughed every single time. Essie was so strong. She keeps people at arms length because she dont trust anyone. And with good reasoning. Her family (besides Mami) are real pieces of work. Freedom was exactly what she needed and seeing her come out of her shell with him was AMAZING.  I absolutely positively fell in love with Essie and Freedoms love. Watching them slowly fall melted me. Le sigh. Freedom and Essie had such a beautiful book. I loved it. I loved Freedom for his determination to make it up to Essie for her horrible past. And show her that she's able to do whatever she strives for. That he wouldnt control her or expect her to wait hand and foot on him. The epilogue was amazing. And had me all up in my feels but i loved it all the same despite it makes me feel. But seriously Freedom was such a good guy. Mami i loved her she was so funny but such a weakth of knowledge for Essie. It was so much fun to see Law and his germaphobe tendencies. And Mark and Leander. And Thea and her boys. Amd the rest of the crazy Romani family.

What’s not to love about Freedom & Essie. Two people brought up in a way of life that not everyone would understand but they definitely will find out that being different is not bad.
Freedom is a young man whose life basically has been mapped out for him and even though his siblings have gone out and changed their lives he feels that the life he knows has brought him Essie.
Essie has always felt like the outcast in her family but when she is introduced to Freedom she never felt more like a queen and he will do whatever it takes to make her believe that they were meant to be.
Watching Freedom & Essie having people who support and love them from Freedom’s siblings and Essie’s Mami Nothing is going to stop them.

I have read every book Misty has written to date. Her writing and unique words, have you wanting to read her whole book in one sitting. In this book we meet strong willed Freedom. Let’s just say he’s done living the Gypsy’s life. Can one outspoken independent Essie change his view on marriage and love.

Another 5 star read from Misty Walker.
First and foremost this is DEFINITELY one of my favorites of all time. I absolutely love the characters the culture and way of life and the relationship dynamic. Misty Walker really has a way of painting a full picture of a love story that is so magical.

I loooooove all of the characters in this book. Essie and Freedom are perfect for each other. They just do not know it yet! So much push and pull. So much chemistry! Sooooooo hot.
and how could you not love Mami!

This book really is such a good read. This Traveler series just keeps getting better and better! I cannot wait to see whats next!

This was a quite simple book for me. The story line of the book was borderline sweet and the characters were perfect in their roles. This was the first book I have read by Misty walker and I must say that I am impressed.
Freedom was the perfect hero of a book. He was everything in one hot package. His kindness and thoughtfulness were the things that I found the most attractive things about him. The moment he meets Essie, he knows he has found his match.

𝑯𝒊𝒔 𝒉𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒚 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒉𝒊𝒎, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒇𝒖𝒄𝒌 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕. 𝑰 𝒅𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒂 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒐. 𝑰’𝒗𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒄𝒖𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒎𝒚𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂 𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆.

𝑯𝒆𝒓 𝒔𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒆 𝒔𝒖𝒄𝒌𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒂𝒊𝒓 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒎𝒚 𝒍𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒔, 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒔 𝒎𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒏, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒌𝒊𝒄𝒌𝒔 𝒎𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒏𝒖𝒕𝒔. 𝑨𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆.

Essie was a bit complicated character. From her childhood she had been told that she had a dark soul and her only saving grace was her grandmother who kept her pretty much secluded from the outside world. When she meets Freedom, she knows that this her chance to escape her prison and both of them embark on a journey filled with love and passion. The humorous parts of the book made me laugh so hard.
I am going to keep this review short and sweet and will just recommend this to all the contemporary romance lovers !!!

I liked it but i didn't love it unfortunately..
If at first i was happy with a change in this series, meaning finally a couple that was forced together later on i felt like Patience was really annoying and being mean for no reason to the H, i hated that, i really feel like he deserved more from her... I didn't like how she treated him, i can get it at first but not after him being so nice! hmm i dunno, her being like that killed their connection IMO.. they get together sooo later on that at that point i didn't care anymore. I get that she was always seen as curse but it wasn't the H's fault ALSO she grew up as a gipsy and she had to know how things are , it's not like she was an outsider. He did what he could to make her happy. At the end of it they were ok together but like i said above she annoyed me in some situations so much that it killed the mood for me, and when they end up together i was just like ''whatever'' at least she didn't leave him, YAY,i'm glad at least she didn't do that. I can get her age too, but still, it annoyed me.
I thought this will be better than Lander and Marks, but nope, reading this i really missed Mark's OTT self :)) also Thea and Law will be always my favorites. I hope next story's will be better, i think we will get Indi and Char story too.

A page turner was hooked from the start.

This is the third book in the traveller series and I have to say my favourite now.

Freedom has always followed along with the Romani gypsy style life he works hard looks out for his family and will do whatever it takes to make that happen.

His father informs him that he has arranged a marriage for him and that he must follow tradition and marry his chosen bride.

Can he do this Thea and Leander have walked away from the traditions, can he be the one to carry it on and follow the Romani rules.

He can when he meets Essie she is a loner a fighter and she is sassy as hell, and someone he really want's to get to know.

Essie is a fighter she has been told all of her life that she is a burden by her dad and step mom, but the one person that believes in Essie is Mami and what a women she is her grandmother.

Something happens that brings them closer together, Essie realises Freedom is the real deal he cares about her and wants to know her hopes and dreams for the future.

This book will take you on an amazing journey you will root for Freedom & Essie and love how all he wants to is give her happiness something she has never had.

You can read this as a standalone, but i promise you that you really do want to meet all this crazy family and travel with them on this journey.

The only one in Essie’s family who made her feel like she was loved is her Grandmother. She has dreams for her future and they don’t include leaving a home where she serves her father and step-mother into a home where she serves her husband. When she agrees to an arranged marriage, she plans to use it to get the independence she always wanted.

The gypsy lifestyle is the life that Freedom wants to live. He is happy to agree to an arranged marriage and even happier when he meets Essie. He is determined to show her that he isn’t trying to hold her back but instead he will do anything to help her live the life she wants and he will be by her side every step of the way.

Essie and Freedom go together like pieces of a puzzle. Every time she challenges him it just endears her to him more and she is about to realize that there isn’t a better person to have in her corner.

It is the third part of the Traveler Series by the author.

The book is about Freedom and Essie who live in a gypsy community.
They are forced into an arranged marriage which Essie does not like. She is rebellious and hot headed.
But Freedom is determined to make her fall in love with him.

They slowly begin to not only understand each other but also heal each other and fall in love. The characters complement each other completely.

It is a simple and beautiful love story with endearing characters painted by the author. The readers enjoy reading the story.

Bohemian Patience is book three in the Traveller series. I read lots so I always crave a unique storyline and this is what this author gave me.

Freedom and Essie are two brilliant likeable characters. I wanted these two to find their happiness. I was really rooting for these two. Their story is everything.

This is a brilliantly well written story that I inhaled quickly. I highly recommend this story.

Plane and simple: I loved it.

For me, Bohemian Patience is one of those books, you don't want to finish, and once you got to the end, you keep looking for more, because you fell in love with these characters and you just don't want to let go of them yet. It was a fun, hot, sweet story, with entertaining, lovable characters.
I love Misty's Traveler world, and I was quite impatient to read Freedom's story, which is kind of ironic considering the title, lol. Freedom was the quiet one in his family, he was the uncomplicated one, who was content living a simple life, a genuine good guy.
Essie is smart, seems tough in the outside, when in fact she is sweet and vulnerable in the inside, and even though she feels the intense connection between her and Freedom, she needs time to let him get close to her.
They start off in an arranged marriage situation, which is a common thing in the gypsy world, and by the end, it turns out was their destiny. It's the most perfect thing that could happen to them. They fell easily and quickly for each other. I loved the way Freedom cherished, supported, and protected Essie from the beginning, how he was set on making her dreams come true, .. which was exactly what Essie needed in order to open up and let Freedom see how beautiful she truly is. She didn't have any other choice but love him madly. Together they are sweet, and hot, explosively dirty and kinky.
Also I can not forget about the side characters, Freedoms sibling, who are always a source of entertainment, and Mami of course. She is the sweetest, funkiest grandma ever.
Can't wait to see what's up next in this bohemian world.

Flat out love this this series! Bohemian Patience is just as fabulous as the previous two books in the Traveler series. Misty Walker has brought to us a colorful, cultural life of gypsies in each book. Each book painting us a different couple with their own kind of love story.

Freedom and Essie's story was perfectly written and I hated to see the book end. I loved how their relationship grew from acquaintances to friends to lovers to soul mates! Their story wonderfully told and not rushed. The author took the time to let the emotions flow through each page. If you wanted to read a perfect love story, Bohemian Patience IS IT!!!

Not enough stars for how much I loved this book and this series!!! It is definitely in my top 10 of 2020!

What an Amazing book!!! This book, just like all the other books in this series, is so good, and I feel like I'm in this Gypsy world with them. Essie and Freedom are one of my top Favorite couples this year!! Freedom is a young gypsy guy, who's father has arranged for him to be married. He doesn't mind he's ready to settle down have someone to come home to at night. He thinks it's going to be easy for him. Little does he know he's future wife is anything but easy. Essie is full of sass, she's stubborn, and he's more than happy to take on the challenge. She thinks it's just a temporary arrangement, but he's not ever letting her go. The more time they spend, the closer they get sparks fly, and the chemistry is off the charts between them. This book is just everything a book should be. You will feel every emotion with it. I need more of this Gypsy World Misty has created. I love it so much!!!! Also, let's talk about Mami. I LOVED her so much she had me laughing so hard!!!! I want a Grandma like Mami. This book is a 5 Star book that everyone needs to read!!!
