Tyson, former military now employee of Legendary Security, lost his wife and their young daughter several years ago, and, understandably so, has found it hard to move forward. He's enjoying his new job, and getting to know his co-workers, and their significant others, even though it reminds him of what he lost. But when someone from his past, a connection to the wife he lost, he's startled to realize his feelings for her are no longer of a friendly nature.

Kai has recently left the military and trying to readjust to her new normal, being a civilian. However, that's not the only change in her life currently as she's dealing with a stalker, one that isn't showing signs of leaving her alone, she knows she needs help, and gets it from Levi and Ice's company. She also crosses paths with Tyson again, the widower of her deceased best friend. Though Kai met Tyson first and like him, it was obvious, upon his introduction to her best friend, that they weren't meant to be. But maybe that's changed...

As Tyson and Kai work to learn the identity of her stalker, and keep her safe, they're also struggling against newfound feelings, or returning ones in Kai's case. Tyson must also find peace with his past, or he'll never be able to have a future with Kai.

"Drama, twist, turns, action, stalker, protection, male ego, lust, desire, chemistry, intensity, suspense . . . I have some kudos to pass on. Tyson’s Treasure is every bit as filled with it all that the others in the series has delivered on. But Tyson’s turn is here and he has some life to live, stalkers to put in their place, and a woman to love. Some would say that he should leave this one particular woman alone and move on. There is just something about Kai that have Tyson drawn in.

Connecting again with Kai again after the death of his wife and all this time has passed was a jolt to Tyson. He was not sure what it was but something about Kai was off. His persistence pays off and he gets a bit more than just a connection with an old friend. Kai has it all figure out or so she thought. Once things got on a roll it was hit after hit. Things moved along and you are drawn in to more than just a stalker it suspense on an extra size. I loved the other team members and partners/spouses and the support they gave to Tyson and Kai.

Pick it up if you have not. You do not need to have read the previous books, but I will say this will get you to want to read more of their brand of action, drama, suspense, mystery, intensity, chemistry, passion, and heat.

I'm a big fan of Dale Mayer's books and this one is not an exception and definitely one of my fav.
I loveeee it from the begining till the end.
A suspense military romance book. An Ex-Military and an ex-weapons instructure with sad ugly lost in their past.
There's plenty of actions, drama, twists and suspense. I was on edge all the time wondering who's the bad guy, suspecting everyone, and expecting something bad will happen.

As for characters. I love Tyson. Love his determination to protect Kai, to not let anything bad happen to her. Love how he's trying to make a peace with his tragic lost and trying to move on. Yes I love him.
And Kai. This woman is a badass woman. She's a strong independent woman. I like how she always control her emotions even when she's panic and shocked.
These two are a strong person and they both share the same lost, so they're perfect for each other. The way they heal each others and supporting each others to move on really warm my heart and their banter is full of fun and laughter. I love their chemistry.

Love the story, love the suspense, love the actions, love the characters. Overall, I loveeee this book

If you're looking for military romance or suspense romance. This one is a must for you.

Picking up Shattered Pieces and finding Second Chances…

Dale Mayer, continues her Heros For Hire (Bk 11) series. She continues to weave her words with amazing, high stakes suspense and drama. It’s a backdrop that we are familiar with - it’s our very own workplace environment. For Kai, she is adjusting to Civilian life after a long stint in the military and making it work to the best of her ability. However, her workplace is filled with male egotism and misogynistic attitude. Her strength and former military background keep her steadfast and holding her ground. Despite this… she has drawn the attention of a stalker. Someone is steadily and stealthily invading her personal life. Ignoring an escalating and insidious behaviour just isn’t working. While she doesn’t want it she needs help. When you have the right friends in your corner that help is always a given and provided with no expectations other than firece friendship and loyalty to those they care about.

Tyson is one of the newest members to Levi’s Security team. Life is empty for him. Going though the motions. His life was shattered by the death of his wife/daughter but finally making attempts to move forward. While quiet, he’s a hard worker, highly observant and intuitive to his surroundings. It’s that keen observance that clues him into knowing Kai has trouble on her hands. He will do all he can to find out just what that trouble involves.

Two people who know each other but have history. Their shared link Tyson’s deceased wife - Kai’s best friend. 
Maybe there has always been a speck of chemistry and attraction, definitely admiration between them just never acknowledged or fully realised. A suspense filled backdrop that brings two friends back into each others personal orbit. Together, delving their way through the murkiness of guilt and attraction while searching for a stalker intent on disturbing Kai’s life.

* So is now the right time for friends to become more?
* Is this a second chance for them both or will guilt prevent them from developing their friendship into love?
* Will a stalker come between them to destroy any relationship potential?

If you love romance and dramatic suspense/intrigue, story twists and turns… what are you all waiting for? Dale Mayer delivers this and more, in another page turning Heroes for Hire book. Tyson’s Treasure is a captivating, fast paced thriller.
There are no dull moments in the book. Even if the plot is not overly complex, almost every page introduces a new scene, an unexpected situation, or a twist.
One of the aspects that I like the most is that even if the book is part of a long series, the author has been able to write a completely fresh, original story, quite different from all the other ones.
This one is a classic hi-tech thriller. Kay, the female protagonist, owns a software company developing training applications for security operators. She is smart, brave, and extremely independent and working in a "man’s world." I loved how the author describes her professional environment and makes fun of the way her male colleagues are unable to accept her as a leder and, most discombulating, as their boss.
Kay, however, is also human, good hearted and sensitive, and this is what most captures the reader.
Tyson, similarly to many other members of the team, is trying to put his life back together after a devastating personal and professional tragedy. He is brave, protective, and, at times, a little forward and cocky.
He is generous and loyal to his friends, lethal with his enemies
I liked how the side characters play key roles in the story. Ms. Mayer makes the reader hate or love them through the twists and turns of the narration, making it more interesting and very entertaining
As usual, the protagonists of the previous books make many welcome cameo appearances as well.
Overall, Tyson’s Treasure is a captivating, no put down story, fast paced and very well written. It is balanced and provides entertainment without graphic scenes or excess violence.
While the author is incredibly good at drawing a thrilling plot, she doesn’t spend the same time and effort in drawing her characters. Both the protagonists live, or have lived, soul tearing dramatic events. Despite this, their emotions are merely outlined, as if in fear that they could become a disruption to the rhythm and pathos of the narration.

At the recommendation and encouragement of Michael, Tyson has joined the ranks of Levi and Ices' Legendary Security. He is one of the new guys along with his friend Jace.

It's been two years since Tyson lost his wife and child and he feels finally ready to move forward with his life. Maybe even find love again. He was a bit puzzled when Kai appeared at the compound, not only challenging him but all the others on the mats. Kai had been a Martial Arts instructor in the Army but had moved to the private sector. When she she reveals the new 'toys' he understands and shares the excitement of the group.

Kai enjoys showing off the new things developed by her company, she leaves the compound anticipating a lunch meeting the next day. She also has a problem, a stalker and so far the police have no leads. Kai hoped she managed to mask her feelings when she got a text from the guy while wrapping things up. She didn't want Levi and Ice to worry.

That's all going to change though, the latest texts and emails from her stalker indicated he know where she lives and that she was at the compound. When Detective Mannford calls Levi to verify, it puts them on the case. Lunch is going to be very interesting.

A tracker on her vehicle and one in her phone explain a lot, but also opened up a lot of questions. Levi and Ice start with her contacts, but also realize more is going to be needed.

Having Tyson with her twenty-four seven was going to be a challenge for her. She's always had feelings for him, but she never acted on them because her best-friend and Tyson clicked so fast and so perfectly. She too had struggled with the loss of her friend.

An uneasy camaraderie leads to laughter and intimacy. A development that took them a bit by surprise but felt so right.

The stalker begins to escalate and then everything starts heating up, including her business partnership and not in a good way.

Lots of intrigue, suspense, surprises and the sizzling heat of Kai and Tyson's relationship kept me turning the pages.

I don’t know how Dale Mayer does it but each Heroes for Hire book seems to get better and better to me. This one about Tyson who is a new member on the team and also a widower. He lost his wife and unborn baby two years ago and now at the complex he comes face to face with Kai, his wife’s best friend. Kai has moved forward since the death of her best friend and at the time she tried to look out for and help Tyson with his grief but he wasn’t ready. Now years later she’s hoping he has moved on and she wouldn’t mind if it was with her as she has always liked him as more than a friend but took a step back when it was apparent who would end up with who. Now she has a stalker and Tyson will not walk away from Kai and maybe even stay after it’s all settled.
What a read with suspense, mystery, murder, second chances, love and a man who has finally come full circle and moved on from a devastating loss. The author does an amazing job of keeping you on edge, not only with the stalker but also with the budding romance with the two. I loved the fact that there were no misunderstandings, no miscommunications, no secrets, no lies and that the story not only focused on the mystery of the stalker but also on the two of them as they finally come to a conclusion on their feelings for each other and how it affects them and their connection from the past.
What left me breathless and with goosebumps was their first steamy time and what did and didn’t happen on his part but also with Kai, being there for him and that time was for Tyson. An amazing read with two strong characters a hero and a heroine who finally have a chance after many years of heartache and heartbreak, loss and grieving coming together for their HEA they both deserve.

This is another book in the “Heroes for Hire” series by Dale Mayers
Tyson Morgan lost his wife and baby two years ago. At that time, he also retired from the SEALs. Since then, Tyson feels lost and lonely without a plan for his future life. One of his SEAL brothers, Michael, suggests that Tyson join the secret SEAL group which includes other retired SEALs. Tyson agrees.

In the compound, Tyson meets up again with his late wife’s best friend, Kai. She comes to the compound to demonstrate her new training program that she and her computer company invented.

Kai has always been attracted to Tyson, but she bowed out when she realized that her best friend liked him. Tyson has always respected Kai but had never really noticed her before. However, now he realizes that he is also attracted to her.

Kai has a problem with a stalker who is calling and sending her letters. Tyson and the SEALs group help keep Kai safe while they all work together to find the stalker.

This book hooked me from the very beginning. There are many twists and turns in this suspense filled book as Kai realizes that she does not really know what is happening in her own company. I like the fact that there are no games played between Tyson and Kai as they admit their attraction early in the book. Then I could watch as Kai and Tyson try to find out who the stalker is and what is actually going on in her company.

I recommend this book. It is an excellent romantic suspense book which is kept my attention even though it is a novella that is short and quick to read.

Tyson, a former SEAL, has known love, and loss. Two years ago, his world was ripped apart following the loss of his wife and their young daughter. He's slowly emerging from his grief and learning to live again, and joining Levi's company is the first step toward doing so. He just never thought the person to fully bring him back and teach him to love again would be someone from his past, his deceased wife's best friend.

Kai was devastated when she lost her best friend and her little girl. While Kai may have met Tyson and begun to fall for him first, it was evident upon he and her friend meeting that they were destined to be together. Kai, wanting them both to be happy, moved on, being in their life in any way she could. However, she needs help now, and it's a surprise to see Tyson involved with those she gets it from.

Kai has a stalker, and though she doesn't take it as seriously as Tyson feels she should, he's determined to protect her, knowing it's what his wife would've wanted. Plus, he too cares about Kai, and he's now realizing, as their paths cross again for the first time in years, that maybe it's grown into a different kind than it had been before.

Can these two work through their shared history, and loss, and find a closure, and chance at love, both desperately need? Will Tyson and Kai be able to move forward together? Hudson's Treasure- Heroes for Hire

This is a book that proves that you can learn to love again in Tyson and Kai's love story. This was finally moving on from the death of his wife Tracy and their child. Kai was Tracy's best friend and Tyson was her crush before Tracy married him. He had been her neighbor for eighteen months and she knew he was a good man before Tyson and Tracy fell in love quickly and within one year she died along with their child in child birth complications when Tyson was out on a mission. He felt guilty that he was not with her and it took him two years to start over and even left the SEALs and joined Levi and Ice's company Legendary Security with some of his friends. Now Kai came to give a demonstration from her company on virtual combat game training and they discovered she had a stalker. Tyson was not letting anyone hurt her and he volunteered to protect her on his own time. Levi and Ice worked to find out who her stalker was as well. This is the evening of this suspenseful love story as they solve the mystery of who the stalker was and fell in love. It was exciting how the outcome of her company was the center of everything with her other partner, Warren showing his true colors and paying the price for his devious actions. It was great that Tyson and Kai connected and fell in love after grieving for Tracy for so long. They were a perfect match for each other and Levi and Ice's family acquired a new member that loved each other.

Tyson tragically lost his wife and child a couple of years ago and he has now recognised it's time to reenter the world and move on. Then Kai, his wife's best friend, comes back into his new life and is in trouble - she has a stalker (even though she seems to not be taking it seriously in his opinion). Tyson decides in memory of his late wife he will protect her, but then realises he wants to be with her anyway. Kai on the other hand has always wanted him, but stayed away as he married her best friend. So when she sees her again at a product demo she understands that her feelings for him have not changed. Can they sort this out, can they face the other problems that they find out, and will they give a relationship between themselves a chance.

A great story about a man's struggle to move on with his life, a woman's struggle against a stalker mixed with male prejudice in the business world, and how friends will always have your back and happiness can come even after you think all is lost. I liked the drama in the story, the twists, turns and surprises. It was well written and addictive - I definitely found myself reading faster and faster as I got further through the story. At the very end it nicely set up the next story in the series so I'm looking forward to reading that one now.

Dale Mayer is quickly becoming one of the reasons that military/security books are fast becoming one of my favorite genres to read. I love her Heroes for Hire Series, though I did come in on it a little late. (Just means I get that many more books to read!) Book 11 is about ex-SEAL Tyson Morgan.

Tyson is just getting over the death of his wife and child 2 years prior and has left the SEALs. He’s rejoined life by joining Legendary Security, and things start looking up when his wife’s best friend, weapons specialist Kai comes to Legendary to show off her company’s latest VR trainer. He realizes he’s attracted to her, especially when he finds out that Kai has a stalker. Kai has been attracted to Tyson since he and her best friend met and married weeks later. Now, with Tyson helping to find her stalker and by her side 24/7, she realizes it’s more than just attraction. But her stalker has other ideas, and wants her out of the picture.

This was an exciting mystery to watch unravel as we try to figure out just who the stalker is. I had my suspicions, and I was partially right as to what was going on. Ms. Mayer managed to turn this into a roller coaster ride of suspense with a wonderful love story thrown in the mix. Plus, we get a little preview of the next book, which is just enough to tip you over that edge of the seat you’ve been sitting on the whole time.

I had already pre-ordered this book when I was given an advanced copy to review so I was already personally invested to read this.
This book was one of my favorites in the series!!! First of all anyone who has lost a spouse is always a tougher character to write because they have found love and lost love once already. So Kai and Tyson being connected by his late wife worked for and against them in some ways as time moved forward. What I loved is that Levi and Ice as well as the rest of the compound absolutely respected Kai and all of the abilities and technology she was bringing to share with them and train them on. As Tyson was critically observing her during the day he notices something is off and instead of ignoring his observation follows up and takes action. As the mystery of the stalker continues, the plot becomes very complex and I was excited to see how Dale was going to wrap it all up. All in all a great read I blew through it in a few hours I got so caught up. I hope we find out more about what happens long term in the next book. The happily ever after was good but so many questions??? not a cliffhanger just my inquiring mind. I loved it. Bravo Dale

Another great story!!

I wanted to be Kai! A force of nature for sure and can she kick ass! I felt like this story was a little more subtle than the previous stories in Heroes For Hire. Kai and Tyson’s acknowledgment of their attraction to each other was more heartfelt than crashing cymbals which made it more appealing.

Tyson is a man of few words but when he has something to say, you had better take note of his body language and size and listen. It could concern your health and well being! Kai knows her stuff. Not only can she demonstrate the latest and greatest technology the men of Legendary Security need but she has mad skills in Martial Arts. She as no problem showing these big experienced men that she can be a worthy opponent in self defense. She can and does make them sweat.

Kai and Tyson have an unusual shared history. I love how their connection was acknowledged and then continued with mature progression instead of a one night stand kind of get together. The danger Kai is in is very real. It also points out that even a martial arts expert is only human when it comes to the unknown method a stalker will use. This story has it all, mystery, danger, hot guy and sexy stuff, but at the end of the day, it’s a very sweet love story. I loved it!

Tyson is still fighting his way back from the grief of losing his wife and baby daughter two years ago, finally showing a few sparks of his true self once again after being so lost. Joining Levi and the others at the compound has been the best thing he has done since leaving the military.
Kai was Best friends with Tyson's wife but really liked him as well, she to is gradually coming through her grief. She has lots more going on though both with her company and a stalker.
This story has so many directions and undertow throughout, lots of suspense and tension. A bit of mystery surrounding those in Kai's company keep you guessing on what's happening there, but the main part of this story I loved was Tyson and Kai and how they interact and find their way back to life. The support of Levi and the others as always is unconditional, I would love to know these people in real life and their awesome partners.
Dale Mayer always gives us exceptional stories, never lets us down with a whole mix of emotions while you are reading. The tension mounts towards the climax and in this one kept me from completely guessing the outcome which is fantastic. Sometimes authors make it a little to easy to work out the ending, Dale manages not to do that always keeping a few twists and turns to throw you off. That to me takes a book from being great to outstanding and this is definitely the later.

I love all of the books in the heroes for hire books by Dale Mayer and I think Tyson is edging to be my favourite so far. Tyson is at Levi's compound still dealing with his guilt and grief after his wife and child dies during child birth. He can't forgive himself for getting her pregnant or for not being there for her.

Kai is a little spitfire who used to be in the military but retired and went with her best friend Mark and bought into his company. On his death she recieved his share and controling stake in the company. Visiting the compound she brings some toys with her for the men to try but not before she tries to beat them up.

I was on the edge of my seat when we were first told about the stalker who wanted Kai, then I really wanted to read quicker to get to the part of who, what and why. We see intrigue, suspense and the chance at second love between the two characters. With Tyson by her side can they both figure out what has happened, who her stalker is and why it was happening in the first place? A great 11th book in a fantastic series. Widower Tyson Morgan has just signed on to the same security firm as a lot of his old SEAL team friends. It's looking like a great place to work, with all the latest toys. An old friend has just brought in the newest training aid, a VR system.
Kai is ex-military and knows that this program will benefit a lot of her old contacts now that they are in the private sector.
She should be extremely happy, but someone is stalking her. If she could see them, she could handle it but not knowing who is after her is scary.
Another fascinating romantic suspense from this series. Lots of danger and intrigue. A mystery that gets more complicated the further they dig into it.
I have read most of this series and loved all of them. They can each be read on their own. Only the company growth tells of a timeline, but that will not spoil it if you want to go back and read any of the earlier ones.
I can't wait to read the next one.

A story of a second chance in happiness. Tyson was Kai’s late best friend’s husband. Tyson was in mourn after the lost of his wife and daughter, not really ready to move on when Kai came back to his life. Kai had always loved Tyson, but he was her best friend’s husband. Kai’s feeling never changed, yet she had a stalker now. Tyson was adamant in helping her, in the loving memory of his late wife. However, he soon realised he wanted Kai fully in his life, and not just as a friend.

Though this was kind of novella length story, we could feel Tyson’s struggle to keep continue with his life after the death of his family. The ever independent Kai also struggle with reality that she needed help from others once in a while. It’s so good to feel the hope and love in this book. How these two people could find their way to each other.

It was energetic, sexy, heartfelt, full of action and adventure with a kick-butt heroine and a soft, sensual romance that had me all...soft and gooey.

The moment I started this book I was hooked. I loved how there was so much excitement and yet there was plenty of romance in between that just kept me in a near swoon throughout the book. I am 100% enamored with These Heroes For Hire stories and I can hardly wait for the next one to come out. I absolutely NEED to go back and read the ones I missed because quite honestly these books are like crack to me...I am completely ADDICTED!

The prologue begins with Tyson joining Legendary Security. As Tyson is being introduced to the team, he finds out that Kai is coming to demonstrate her company’s virtual reality weapon training software. At the end of the training, Tyson sees Kai’s worried face after taking a text and Tyson becomes concerned. When Tyson finds out that Kai has a stalker, Tyson is determined to stay by her side until the stalker is found. As Tyson and Kai spend time together sparks fly. They both struggle with the guilt of moving on together after the loss of Tyson’s wife who was Kai’s best friend. While their new found love is growing the stalker is escalating his attacks and it’s up to Tyson and the Legendary Security team to keep Kai safe. Just like the other books in the series, there is a strong woman that doesn’t want to take anyone’s help, but you can’t have a hero for hire without the guy from Legendary Security helping to protect the woman he falls in love with.

Life is never easy, the men and women who have found refuge in Levi's band of hero's have been put through the ringer. Tyson is one of the newest additions , he comes with lots of baggage and his friends are worried about him. When is past comes rushing in to kick his but to rejoin the living he struggles with the feelings that come with the dynamo in a small package. Kai has always had feelings for Tyson but he did not see her, after he lost his wife and her best friend she is ready to push him out of his comfort zone. Levi's team has some of the coolest gadgets, I love all the new additions that Ms. Mayer throws in and the twists just keep on getting better. Fast moving storylines, awesome characters, cool gadgets and gizmos, bad a@# alpha males and some scary females keep things moving along and the reader glued to their seat. This is a great series that I hope continues for a long time.

Life as Tyson knew it was destroyed two years ago when he lost both his wife and child during childbirth and in addition to the pain he felt from their loss there was also the guilt that if he had been home rather than overseas on a mission that he may have been able to get her to the hospital soon. He has left the Navy and has joined Levi’s group.

Kai was his wife’s best friend and she was devastated by the loss of her friend and their child as well. She is now the managing partner in a software company which develops training applications for security companies and that is how she reconnects with Tyson.

When Tyson finds out that Kai has a stalker he has assigned himself to watch her 24/7. Their journey to find the truth is filled with twists and their relationship becomes more than friends but will they find out who is behind the attacks before it is too late and is Tyson truly ready to move on from his past? I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Kai had cared for Tyson before her friend married him. After two years, she hoped maybe he'd be ready to move on. Maybe even with her. Only her life is a bit of a mess right now. Some stalker has been texting her. Even with her company's tech genius'...they can't track the stalker down.

When Levi finds out about Kai's stalker...they come to her aid. Especially Tyson. He's determined to stay by her side—day and night—until the threat against her is over. This story is full of action and the author kept me guessing through the whole story on who could be behind things. Excellent story.

Tyson’s Treasure another great book in the looong list of stories by Ms. Dale Mayer. This is book #11 in the SEALs of Honor (Legendary Security) series. I received this book as an ARC. The book is a fast read overall. It alludes to Tyson suffering after losing his wife & baby; however, it was never made clear how or what happened. I certainly would have appreciated more of the backstory & I don’t think it would have detracted from the story.

Anyway, Kai was the longtime best friend of Tyson’s deceased wife. She’s also retired military & kind of a bad a$$. She’s reunited with Tyson through her business & then all hell breaks lose as Tyson discovers she’s being stalked. The “love story” isn’t really in forefront for this story. I think for a lazy reading day most will enjoy this story, enjoy!!

At love, at redemption, at life. Not entirely sure he'll fit, trusting his friends, making new friends, allowing himself to heal.

My only big issue was how easily the relationship was entered into - once he'd decided, that was it, no addressing the past, no discussion (ok, a nod to a brief conversation), just a "we're doing this" attitude.

She loved him for years but took a backseat to her best friend.

Their love was a passionate flame, burning and drawing everyone in. It was fast, it was complete. Then in a moment it was all gone.

Broken, burnt, longing for what he can no longer have, he loses his way.

Can she help him see that he has healed? Can he open up to accept her calming peace? Wil he keep her safe and solve the mystery? Will she trust his presence in her life?

WOW! This was an intriguing story of second chance. Tyson is brand new to Levi's and when Kai shows up for a demonstration of her company's new product, Tyson starts getting flashbacks of Tracy and Kai. Tyson was finally getting over losing Tracy as was Kai. Now Tyson has to be Kai's bodyguard as she has a stalker after her. Then people start dying. Tyson and the team finding clues as to what has been going on with her partner only to have him end up dead as well. Larry - one of the employees - finally confessed that he accidentally killed Warren and had been stalking Kai. Now Kai will need to get her company business sorted out but her personal life is just the way she always dreamed of to be - to be with Tyson. These two find their happily ever. FANTASTIC job Dale! I would recommend this book.

What an awesome book! I received this as an ARC. The storyline covers a very serious problem in our world, stalking. The book was written so true to life and made for a suspenseful read. One of the main characters in the book, Kai, was being subjected to a stalkers every whim. Kai gets help from Tyson, and on top of dealing with the stalker they are dealing with their growing feelings for each other. They both feel guilty for their feelings as Tyson had been married to Kai’s best friend until she passed away. I was rooting for them to get together but was on the edge of my seat wondering if the stalker would be caught before getting to one of them. This book had me engrossed from the start! A page turner that you won’t want to put down till the end!

I have only read a couple of this author's books but with each one I was delighted. She features in this one someone who use to be a Seal one of my favorite peoples to read. Starting out on a different path after the death of his wife and child you know he Tyson that is already owns your heart. When Kai comes to some new things they are both thrown for a loop. That is only the beginning again for these two as they go down a different path then before. Danger lurks too with everyone getting involved once it comes out in the opening about it. Very good with the intrigue but yummy with the heat and romance it also warmed my gills. Several surprises too when you think one thing but bam nope it wasn't lol. When it started the wrap up hold on tight it goes fast then it is over too quickly.

- Great suspense as we found out who the bad guy was.
- This was a very believable relationship... I liked that it built throughout the book
- As always the support of the team for each other was awesome.
- Great Romance
- Loved how Kai was able to take care of herself but let Tyson step in and help.
