Jean Van Hamme, is a Belgian novelist and comic book writer. He has written scripts for a number of Belgian/French comic series, including Histoire sans héros, Thorgal, XIII, Blake and Mortimer, Lady S and Largo Winch.
I had low expectations for the sequel, but in some ways, it's better than the first installment. There is more action and with fewer characters to follow we get to see more of what motivates them. With the exception of an overwrought staged death scene, the rest is well told with good detail and plenty of suspense.
