Did not know that this was a sequel. One day I'll read the original, too.

Great art accompanying a nice adventure.

I had low expectations for the sequel, but in some ways, it's better than the first installment. There is more action and with fewer characters to follow we get to see more of what motivates them. With the exception of an overwrought staged death scene, the rest is well told with good detail and plenty of suspense.
