This is another great story by Beatriz Rare. Brian finds a way to have fun, make money, and have more fun, all while making a new friend. She shows when something bad happens, you have to work on it to make it come out okay. No pouting and no getting angry. A good lesson for young and old alike. This is also a good story time and bedtime book. There is a recipe for lemonade in the back. Brian loves skateboarding. He was trying a trick and broke his board. He thought and remembered a friend who made money with a lemonade stand. He had a lemon tree. He made his stand and set up on the beach. He did well until a Triceratops set up a stand next to his. He said his lemonade made dinosaurs taller and stronger. What happened with Ryan and his stand? Did he make enough for his skateboard? You know what I always say, you get the fun of listening/reading to find out the answers to your curiosity and mine. Good luck and happy reading. I found this book on Beatriz Rare's Amazon website for free.
The moral of the story is making Lemonada and having someone else help you can lead to a profitable situation. The first is helping you to raise money for something that you really want and the next is to also make a summertime friend also.
We had a great time reading the book. I love that it teaches my kids to earn money for things they. We did try the lemonade recipe on the back and it was very watery.
