He trained as a graphic designer at art college in West Sussex before entering the world of publishing. He has written over one hundred books for children of all ages, ranging from original stories to adaptations of classic novels.

a silly story about a sweet toad who builds a road up to her house so her friends can visit. love it.

The first Usborne Phonics reader that we bought. Loved it so much we set out to collect them all. Delightful illustrations and fun to read aloud.
