Mí humilde opinión:
Tina se muda a una casa nueva y resulta que su casero es el hombre más sexy que ha visto.
Hay una intensa atracción entre ellos al primer encuentro pero lo malo es que es el padre de su mejor amiga!
Es imposible pero es irresistible también.
Séptimo libro de las dulces curvas y...
No sé si soy yo o estos últimos libros de la serie se volvieron más cortos y sin mucho contenido interesante.
Con la excusa de "el corazón quiere lo que quiere" la protagonista va y se acuesta con el padre de la mejor amiga.
Inapropiado? Sí. Sin códigos de amistad, demonios también.
No veo cómo Kate estuvo bien con esa relación. De una manera terrible, Tina le dice a su amiga que se acostó con su padre y esta se va a pensar en ello y cinco minutos después vuelve y les da su bendición!?
Era todo tan malo!!!
No hay romance entre Troy y Tina, desde el principio es puro sexo y yo estaba preguntándome porqué todo se volvía tan rápido que ni el romance me resultó creíble.
Es triste porque me gusta cómo escribe MW y la mayoría de los libros que leí tenían mucho potencial para ser increíbles.
Este no me gustó, era uno más de H y H con diferencia de edad sin mucho más.

There is instalove and there is INSTALOVE and this book was definitely the latter.
Tina is finally starting her life, after college she has struggled to find her place and had watched all her friend go off and start their new careers, she has been lucky enough to find the job she wanted and with the help of her best friends dad she has somewhere to live to. After the travel to San Francisco she’s looking forward to settling in but what she never saw coming was Troy, her best friends dad she instantly falls under his spell and the look in his eyes says he isn’t immune to her but if she makes a move will she humiliate herself and lose her best friend?
Troy falls instantly for the curvy beauty moving into his studio apartment but knows he has to keep his distance or it could destroy his tenuous relationship with his daughter Kate, but the more time he spends in Tina’s company the harder he falls and she gets harder to resist. Will he risk it all for a chance to love again or will it cost him everything?

Okay, be forewarned, this book is OTT and insta even for this series and that says A LOT. This is the story of Troy and Tina. Troy is the father of Tina's best friend (not gonna lie, love this trope). She gets a deeply discounted rate to stay in an apartment he owns after she gets out of college and is off on her own starting out in life.
She's never met Troy before but when she does, BAM, it's over for both of them. Complete insta-love. We join them on their quick journey of finding love and dealing with family.
Read 2: The second time around I felt like this was just okay. There’s instalove and then there’s INSTAlove. This is the later. It just made it feel a little superficial and boring but I do love a best friend’s dad trope.

This is another delicious treat in this food section which i enjoy it was shortish and little steam. I was alittle annoyed on few things. But it was an okay book.
Tina has her dream school and thanks to her bff a cheap decent place to live that her bff dad rented out to her. When she meets Troy she feels a spark she shouldnt plus he is really young but also he is her bffs dad.. they both tried to stay away from eachother which was kinda childish on the lengths they tried.. because of the friend/daughter. But was glad they both grew some backbones and went afted eachother.
I was confused how Tina never met her best friends dad ever? Like? Its alittle odd for me.
No ow/om, no cheating, Tiny drama,sexy time, virgin gal no manwhore guy

Fantastic
This is the most realistic of this series which is saying something considering these are basically smut with little plot. I actually loved how things were handled with all the characters. There were general concerns that were acknowledged and handled with care. It had a beautiful romantic quality and the found family feel was very present and much appreciated. I would re read this again. This was really better than what I expected.

Best friend’s dad? Ahhhh I just love these type of stories.
Troy is a young dad though, had his daughter at 16 years old. He’s now 39 and his daughter’s best friend, Tina, is 23 and renting a room from him. It’s ridiculously fast instalove as they met one day, have sex and say they’re soulmates and in love the day after that. Tina was even saving herself for that one special dude... and I guess when you know, you know? Yep.
The whole thing with Troy and his daughter Kate’s mom situation when he was 16 gave me a bit of a creep factor. I have no clue why because I normally like that specific trope (no spoilers!) but something about it just weirded me out.
But I still enjoyed this overall for a short story. Kate was an awesome best friend and daughter in this story, that’s for sure. Glad there was no drama.

I loved this short but sweet instalove romance. The story was very entertaining. The characters were relatable.
Tina is going to start a new job and is moving into her best friend Kate's dad's rental studio. She's never met Troy Dante before but she figures that he will be like her dad. When Tina gets to the address she meets Troy and can't believe that he is Kate's dad because not only is he hot, he's a lot younger than she expected. She is drawn to him but decides to go for a walk and finds a store that sells taffy on the pier. Tina has her first kiss with Troy after they run into each other at the taffy place. It's amazing and unexpected and complicated all at once. Neither of them wants to hurt Kate, but can you turn away from love?
The way that Tina and Troy both knew they were connected so quickly was awesome. Kate's reaction to them being together was so sweet. Their happy ever after made me smile. I recommend reading this book!

I love these quick insta-love books from Megan Wade. This was a, curvy girl, best friends dad, May/December romance. Over the top situation that takes about an hour.
Troy and Tina are instantly attracted and after about an hour decided not to fight it.
The only problem, her best friend/his daughter. They have wild sex, declare their undying love and then the "problem" literally knocks on the door.
Heat level was 🔥🔥🔥1/2. Definitely recommend for a quick, dirty read, especially since we're all cooped up inside. Lunch break read with an Older, dirty talking man and a sweet, potty mouthed BBW virgin.

Megan Wade has become one of my favorite authors and Taffy was a great read. Tina is about to start her first job after college when her friend Kate offers her one of her dad's rentals. Troy cannot believe his reaction to his daughter's friend. He knows it's wrong to want her but the chemistry between them is intense. Tina is immediately attracted to Troy and she wants to be with him. Will Kate accept her best friend and father as a couple?

Two words come to my when I think of the main character selfish and ungrateful, The man was trying to stay away from her and she kept throwing herself at him chasing him down didn't care what it would do to the relationship between him and his daughter or the relationship between her and his daughter. Her supposed best friend she obviously got her father to give her cheap rent cause she's just getting started and she's not even grateful, this not a good Insta-love this more of a fuck the first guy who calls you pretty (cause you have no self esteem) no matter the price.

Feeling lucky that she managed to snag an apartment at literally the last moment from her best friend's dad, Tina is shocked to find out that said dad is so handsome.
Taffy has a lot of plot holes - more so than the rest in the series, in my opinion. Also, Tina & Troy didn't impress me as being in love at all! I felt the lust, and some deep affection, too, but the entire plot lacked overall romance.

Just like the rest in this series, a quick read during break or lunch. BUT this one had a bit more spicy than the other that I have read so far so that was a surprise. There is a certain topic touched in this story so definitely needs a trigger warning for mentions of past sexual child abuse between a student and teacher (details weren't really given but it is mentioned as part of the MMC history, trying not to spoil as best I can but still wanna give that warning).

Yet another gem from Megan Wade, especially if you enjoy strong heroes that crave curvy heroines and/or wanna knock them up. My one annoyance, though, is that Tina is yet another virgin heroine that has her virginity fetishized by the hero (seriously, y'all, enough already with the damn virgins!).
