My life is a mess. Literally.

I’m a single dad, which means If I’m not cleaning up spilled milk or changing a diaper, I’m pulling gum from my daughter’s hair. I barely have enough time to eat—let alone sleep.

And women? Forget about it. That ship sailed two years ago along with my ex-wife. My brother says I need to get laid. I say, screw that. I’m content with my life, until pop star Nora Hayes walks through my best friend’s front door and flips my world upside down.

She’s beautiful, famous, and completely off limits.

My life is a headline waiting to happen. Literally.

It all started with fishnet stockings and ended with a baseball bat to my boyfriend’s Porsche, putting me on the front page of every newspaper and gossip magazine in the country.

My life is spiraling out of control and I’m ready to make some serious changes. What I’m not ready for is a hunky man to strut his jean clad tush into my life. Grayson Calhoun is as rugged as he is sweet. He’s also way in over his head with his kids, and I have an offer I’m hoping he can’t refuse.

What starts as an agreement, turns to a friendship, and quickly escalates to stolen kisses and heated nights spent wrapped in each other’s arms. What we have is temporary. I promise him that I won’t fall in love.

But I make that promise already knowing it’s a lie.

Nora has been in the entertainment industry since she was about 10 years old. She has a very successful career and can’t go anywhere without being recognised. She has a great boyfriend who also works in the industry and understands her busy lifestyle. Things are starting to get more serious and she thinks he could potentially be the man she shares her future with. Until everything gets completely flipped on its head, causing Nora to have a personality transplant and a lot of unwanted publicity. It’s time to go home.

Home has a different definition for everyone. For Grayson, it is filled with love and chaos. He is a single dad to three adorable kids and life can be crazy at times. His days start early in the morning and end late at night when he falls in bed and awakens to do it all over again the next day. He is lucky to have the love and support of his best friends Nick & Jessa who are always happy to help him out when he needs it.

When Grayson Calhoun walks into Nick’s house one night and meets his sister Nora, he feels a shift happening - like a spiritual shift. This gorgeous woman is engaging with his kids and has this wonderful energy about her. He is instantly drawn to her and he likes how it feels. It’s been a long time since a woman has made him feel anything and he can’t ignore it - they just undeniably click.

‘I didn’t see you coming, Nora. You’re like a hurricane that blew into my life without warning and destroyed everything I thought I knew.’

Nora offers to help Grayson out with some childcare during summer and truth be told, one of the best parts of that is spending time with him. She is a natural with the kids and Grayson loves how happy their home feels now. As things progress from friendship to something ‘more’ for both of them, he is mindful that she is only temporarily in town and will soon return to her busy music career. The last thing he would ever want to do is hold her back from her busy life.

Nora has never felt like she has belonged as much as she does with the Calhoun family. Meeting them has changed everything for her. They are everything she never knew she wanted and though it’s only been a short time, it just feels so right. However, when Nora’s real life crosses over with Grayson’s things get a bit too real for both of them. Can they really make this work between them or should they walk away, satisfied with only the memories of the summer they shared together?

OMG, this book has buckets of cuteness, moments of sadness and plenty of steam. I loved getting lost in this gorgeous story!

Spoilers ahead

The h is a 21 or 22(? I can't remember lol)pop star who is looking to change her childish image into a more mature one. When she goes to her boyfriend's home she finds him with a OW and damages a vehicle and steals another one. With the media attention her actions brings she decides to go home and regroup. There she meets her brother's friend and single dad of 3 who she's attracted to.

The H married his high school sweetheart who unfortunately turned to drugs. After his divorce he hasn't been with another woman. His Life is devoted to work and his kids, until he meets the little sister of his friend. When she volunteers to help him babysit she fits into his family perfectly.

This was a pretty easy read, there were a couple of silly misunderstandings but I enjoyed this until that last misunderstanding. I did not like the H's reaction at all. Little things he did that irked me but all in all this was ok

I love romances with kids but I often find authors rarely give kids a voice or a correct representation of their age. That was not the case here and it's what really saved this book for me. I loved these kids!

Virgin h
Non manwhore H
His ex wife was a junkie but she doesn't appear in the flesh but she does cause some drama
h's ex makes a very brief attempt at a second chance but he's shut down pretty quickly
No drama really

Mediocre. That is the word that comes to mind. I read Miss Grayson books in the past and I have to admit so far it has been hit and miss.

Her works is somehow mediocre for me. The reading that you read at lazy summer day or at the beach. The story is standard. Insta lust and quickly move to love. The single dad twist is adding bonus.

A very sweet and beautiful romance read. I liked the concept of a female pop star celebrity and a single father with three adorable children!! It was different, well written, dual pov and the characters were wonderful!

I liked it, but it needed something more -- there seemed to be a lot of holes in the storyline. Never felt like the whole story found its way onto the page. I would have enjoyed a little more definition. There was a lot of repetitive day-to-day activities when I needed more answers to the heavier stuff going on. Easy read and the kiddos put some fun & games & laughter into the picture as well.

Gosh I have a weakness for this trope. I love a single dad romance. These type of stories are always so adorable and cute but then somehow they can be so steamy too.

Wait For Me was such a delight!
Is it odd to say that I had such an amazing time reading about the chaos and juggling of Grayson's life? because regardless of it all, there were so some heart melting moments of cuteness overload between him and his children. Plus he is all all round good man (who doesn't want to read a story about a single dad who is a genuinely a good father, right?)

Grayson and Nora's story in Wait For Me was so good! I didn't want to to end! I've highlighted so many lines in this book! This book was honestly a really good romance novel overall.

4.5 sweet stars!

Nora is America’s sweetheart. Having been discovered at ten, she’s grown up in the spotlight. She has little creative freedom when it comes to her music and she is tired of it. People still see her as the sweet girl she was when she started but she is ready to show the world just who she is as a woman.
Being a clean-cut good girl is part of my job description - part of who I am.
Or, who I used to be.
Times have changed.
I have changed.

After a huge blow up with her boyfriend, Nora goes to stay with her brother until things settle down. There she meets her brother's best friend, Grayson, who is so different from what she is used to. He is genuine and not in the business, and someone to whom she is instantly attracted.

Grayson is a single dad with three adorable kids. He has a whole lot of baggage, is busy with his kids and his business, and has little time to date. He’s not even interested in meeting someone until he meets Nora, and she turns his life upside down when he least expects it.

Grayson and Nora are so natural together and they fit seamlessly in each other’s lives no matter the differences between them. Grayson is such a sweet father and Nora is great with his kids. She can be her down-to-earth self around him and he never expects her fame to take over. They really bring out the best in each other and I enjoyed the ease they found around each other.
“When I’m on stage singing, everything is a blur of black and white. But here with you, everything is crisp and bright.”

I love that Grayson and Nora don’t just jump into a relationship. They take their time to get to know each other and the progression from friends to more is realistic. I really enjoyed watching them fall in love. Their attraction is palpable and the sexual tension is well written and believable. And when they are together, they really heat things up.

Nora and Grayson have their ups and downs but nothing is too over-the-top or completely unexpected when one person in the relationship is a celebrity. They work through things quickly for the most part and realize when they are wrong. They are a functional couple and I liked that there isn’t drama for the sake of drama.

Overall, Wait for Me is a wonderful slow-burn romance with characters who will warm your heart and a storyline that will keep you captivated. I really enjoyed this one!!

I have to add that I was excited to see  more of Jackson and Allie from Stay with Me  because I love when characters from previous books make cameos!

4.5, Worth The Wait, Stars!!

“Nora’s eyes are hot and commanding as she looks at me. I’ve never been stared at like this by a woman. It’s like she wants to devour me.”

“I’m the moth to her flame. Her body calls to me, and now that I’ve had a taste of her, I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to stop.”

“Nora Hayes owns me. She ruined me for every other woman in the world.”

When I first picked up this book, my initial thought was bring it! Wait For Me started off with one heck of a bang and left me totally intrigued. Wait For Me follows the story of Nora and Grayson. 23 year old Nora wants nothing more than to break away from her child star persona. She knows what she wants and is finally starting to stand up for herself. However, it’s her cheating boyfriend that gives her the wake up call that she needed. And when your life spirals out of control, there’s nothing better than returning home……Grayson’s life is a total mess. He never imagined he would find himself a single father to 3 children, but here he is. He’s just one fight or accident away from losing his mind. And when Nora comes home to visit with her brother, she just so happens to knock Grayson’s world upside down….

Wait For Me captivated me from the very first page. While Nora had some growing up to do, it’s not hard to understand why she acts the way that she does. I found her very easy to connect with and loved that she was paired up with Grayson. Grayson is the ultimate catch. He’s sweet, caring and totally devoted. He’s not perfect, but is trying to raise his kids the best that he can. And when fate throws Nora his way, he tries desperately to fight the feelings that he has for her. What starts off as an innocent friendship, quickly becomes stolen moments and a romance that is destined to last a lifetime.

Wait For Me checked off all the boxes I was looking for. From a sexy single dad to a former child star trying to make a name for herself. To a beautiful and unexpected friendship. To a romance that has a terrific slow burn that leaves you rooting for the characters to find their way to a happily ever after. This book had it all. Grayson and Nora were impossible to not fall in love with and I enjoyed every second of their journey. Wait For Me had just the right mix of drama, misunderstandings, romance and swoon-worthy moments. I really enjoyed spending my day getting swept up in Nora & Grayson’s story.

Grayson and Nora were just a beautiful couple to read about. There was nothing in this story I didn't enjoy.

Grayson is an amazing single dad to three of the cutest book kids. I loved how hard and unapologetically he loves them, you can feel the love jumping off the pages. Everyone needs a Grayson in their life. He's hardworking and focused on one thing his kids happiness. Like alot of parents he doesn't have much of a life outside work & family. Nora may be famous but she is so relatable and down to earth.

There's nothing better than reading a love story where you can feel the sparks right from that first meeting. I loved how the author took time to build the bond not only between Nora and Grayson but with the children too. Some of their interactions were just adorable. Reading this book made me smile and left me feeling really happy and positive.

This story captured my heart! K.L. Grayson doesn’t disappoint with this unique and heartwarming story.

Grayson Calhoun is a devoted single father to three delightfully adorable kids. His focus on his children was admirable and had me swooning with his love for and care of his children.

Nora Hayes, now 23, wants to break free of her child star persona. She feels she’s not able to really portray her self as a woman and break out of the role that she’s played since she was ten. She takes a break from touring and visits her brother.

When Gray and Nora meet the draw between them is evident. These characters are amazing and so likable! The flow is so smooth and expertly delivered. K.L. Grayson weaves a resonant and alluring tale with a skilled cadence. I absolutely loved this story and highly recommend!

I love single father stories especially when they are such good men and so deserving of a happily ever after.
Grayson has been left by his wife with three kids to take care of. He’s a great father, works hard to provide for his children and has the help of his good friends, his brother and parents when he needs it.
Nora is a famous singer who is staying with her brother for the summer after breaking up with her famous boyfriend in the best of ways...she needs to be low key for a little while.
When these two meet sparks fly!
I love how close Nora became with the kids and how you could feel her love for them emit from the pages. The slow burn of the characters not rushed, friends first then becoming something more just perfect.
I’m a huge KL Grayson fan and love everything she writes. This is the perfect summer beach read...just a feel-good romance with all the feels.

I'm trying really hard to find something nice to say about this story, but it's really hard. The writing isn't terrible, but the whole story is just awful.

The story starts with Nora, a child TV star/singer who wants to drop her sweet good girl image. Before the start of the book, she apparently did an award show performance in a leather body suit, and she got flack for it. I don't know. Honestly, it all felt very Miley Cyrus after that ridiculous performance at the VMAs in that hideous beige number.

description

So, Nora fires her manager and goes off to spend the summer with her brother in a small town, where she meets hot single dad Greyson.

Unfortunately, their entire relationship just didn't work for me. For one thing, Nora came across so super young in this story. The author gives her age as 22, but she doesn't seem 22. All of their "misunderstandings" seemed so childish and weird to happen between actual adults. She seemed more like Greyson's older teenage daughter rather than his love interest. I honestly had to skip all their sex scenes because they felt so icky.

description

The other problem is that it doesn't feel like Greyson is really over his ex anyway. She abandoned him and the children because of a drug addiction, not because the two actually fell out of love. It never really felt like Greyson was "in it" with Nora. She was just a girl that was there.

Besides not feeling the relationship, I got really annoyed with how the author had Emma speak like Elmer Fudd all the time rather than an actual four-year-old.

"I weawy wuv you, Nowa. Let's have a sweepover!"

description

Newsflash - four year olds do not speak this way! They are perfectly capable of pronouncing 'l' and 'r'.

Additionally, I hate, hate, hate when the MC's kids automatically fall in love with the usually childless and child inexperienced other MC. It's so absolutely ridiculous that it completely takes me out of the story.

And finally, a little anatomy lesson! You cannot tell that a woman is a virgin by how tight she feels around your finger.

description

It disturbs me that any woman would write anything remotely like that.

Everyone knows Nora from her acting career that started as a child. It is difficult to find a relationship that is real and not someone using her. Finally, Nora believes she is with the right man until she finds him cheating. Her reaction puts her on the front page for all the wrong reasons. She needs to get out of the spotlight for a time to regroup. Her brother welcomes her home.

Grayson Calhoun is a friend of Nora’s brother. They help him occasionally with his three kids. There are times when Grayson feels overwhelmed as a single dad of three kids. While Nora is in town, she offers to help fill in to babysit while he looks for a new nanny. Grayson becomes friends with Nora until the friendship turns into more.

I loved this book. Wait For Me is a single dad, friend-to-lovers romance. The switch from friends to lover’s is slow as one would expect from two people burned like these two. They have some hurdles to jump not the least of which is they both know it can only be temporary. I loved the Grayson’s relationship with his children. Nora is sweet and loving. There is a little drama from misunderstandings, but the story flows smoothly through all phases of the romance. A great story.

I've read just about every K.L. Grayson book since she started publishing.  I love her style of writing and her character and plot development abilities.  She has a way of making you feel like you are living in the book.  But I have to say that this book!  This is my favorite of all of her books she's written to date!  I fell in love so hard with her heroine!  Her vulnerability and her strength are just want I want in a good character and Ms. Grayson delivers on this one in every way!

This book is also one of my favorite troupes.  Single dads and Grayson Callhoun is my new favorite dad ever in a book!  He's been through a lot and so have his kids.  He was young and dumb and stayed for all the wrong reasons, he ex-wife, she's a real peach of woman, but for his kids, he will move heaven and earth!  His children really stole the show for me.  Especially young Emma!  I wanted to crawl into this book and love all over them all!  They were a real highlight in this story and I fell in love hard with Grayson's little brood!  He's an amazing dad, working by day restoring cars, and by night super dad!  He's resigned to his life and he's happy in the bubble he lives in with the kids.  Though he could use help to catch a break, he's not angry with his lot in life.  His kids mean everything to him, which in turn helps you fall in love with him right from the start.

Nora is the best female character Ms. Grayson has written!  I have read just about all of them now, and I have to say that Nora is just SPECIAL!!!! Her story isn't easy, she was thrust at a young age into the Hollywood life and left to be raised by people that were not her family.  She didn't attend regular school, she had tutors, she didn't have her family for holidays and birthdays, because most of the time she was working.  She doesn't complain about her lot in life because she loves what she does, and really wouldn't change it.  But she longs for companionship because life on the road gets very lonely.  And when the relationship you thought was going somewhere implodes in a very public way, and you find out it was all just a farce, you retreat to the safety of family that will shield you from it all.  The best part of Nora is the way that she opens up to Grayson's children immediately and gives them this unconditional love without even really knowing them.  She's so young, but she has the biggest and best heart.  The way she takes to Emma and even to Jack, solidified my love for her almost instantly!  The way she takes charge and doesn't take no for an answer, and the way she whips Grayson's life with the kids into something better for them all, just made me melt inside!  There is literally NOTHING I could say to change about her, she's the epitome of class, elegance and kindness!

Overall this book really got me in all the feels.  The kids make your heart melt, Grayson will light a fire in you, and Nora will give you all the feels to round out this cast of characters.  I couldn't have asked for a sweeter love story!  There is a little angst but it isn't over the top and that is what I loved about this one.  It lifted my spirits when I was going through making a difficult decision and gave me that lighthearted feeling that I was looking for in a fabulous read!

This book was so sweet! There is no other words to describe it

Nora has been a child star for so long. Now she is a grown up, yet people still see her as the sweet innocent little girl she started as. Nobody is taking her seriously. And when she finds out that her boyfriend is also just another way to control her, she takes a break. And where better than to go to her brother and spend the summer with him and his wife.
She didn't expect to meet Grayson and she sure as hell didn't expect to fall in love with him and his adorable three children.

Grayson is finally feeling like his life is getting on track. His kids seem more or less okay, no thanks to his ex and his business just keeps growing. So when he meets his best friends sister, its like a shock to his whole being and stirs emotion in him he didn't think he still had. So when his nanny can't watch his kids anymore and Nora offers he can't help but fall more in love with her.
But can a single dad of three and so much baggage compete with a fame and fortune?

This was such a sweet story, that I really couldn't find anything wrong. Grayson was just so dreamy and he loves his kids to death. And Nora even though she was a famous actress/singer she was just the sweetest person you could ever meet. Very little drama and angst in this story. Just pure romance, dreamy moments and some lol and adorable kids in the mix.

K.L. Grayson is back with another beautiful read. Wait For Me is a standalone, contemporary romance between a child star and a single father. Nora is a child star who is now 23 years old, and wants to shed her current image. Grayson is a single father of 3 children who restores cars for a living. I adored Grayson. He was doing an amazing job being a single parent to 3 young kids. He was exhausted, and overwhelmed like many parents are, and I definitely related to that! I will say the author really nailed those kids’ characters. I saw my own 6 year old son in Jack’s character a little too much! On the other hand, Nora has lived a very different life, and she was almost sheltered and innocent in a lot of aspects. I did struggle with Nora’s immaturity throughout the book, but can certainly understand why she was the way she was.

The book opens up with Nora catching her boyfriend cheating, and bashing his beloved Porsche in with a baseball bat! I was laughing so hard at this scene! She decides to hide out at her brother’s house away from all the press. Grayson is her brother and sister in law’s best friend. They had a pretty electric first meet with chemistry in spades. The only thing I personally had issue with was how fast their relationship moved. But, that epilogue was freaking adorable and the perfect end to this story! If you enjoy single parent romances, you will love this one!

5 out of 5 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grayson is such a great single dad. He obviously loves his kids more than anything in the world. Nora is just trying to regroup and take back her life after being the teen star America loved, but wanting to be a grown woman instead of her past self.

This novel was the first one in a long time that I really devoured...loved...couldn't put down. I have been in a serious reading funk lately, but this book brought me back to life! This author made the story so easy to follow and the characters so easy to love and all I wanted to do was read more and more. I hate when any good book ends, but I really hated when this excellent book ended!

The story flowed so well. The characters were all realistic and people I wanted to know more about. Grayson was the best daddy ever - and my heart is still all aflutter at his ability to do it all. Nora was cute and bubbly and still all woman. Their biggest argument was something I could totally understand how it came about and yet still wish they didn’t have to experience.

An excellent book that I couldn't put down and will highly recommend to everyone!

Wait For Me was such a great read. I loved everything about it. However, I have to say that the 3 little humans Jack, Henry and Emma stole my heart. Those kids were more than secondary characters, they were the core of the story for me.
I don't think I have ever fallen as hard for a single dad with children. Grayson is simply PERFECT and without a doubt best book boyfriend material. He ticked all the boxes

In a nutshell, Grayson is the hot, romantic, adorable single dad who revolves his life around his 3 kids’ happiness.

Nora is tired of living the public/celebrity life and decides to go spend some time at her brother's, after a pretty bad break-up. Even though, she is young, beautiful and famous, Nora is determined to hold on to her heart and not give it away to anyone. I loved her character and her determination to fight in order to be who she wants to be.

Gray and Nora had chemistry from the moment they met at Nick and Jessa’s. Despite their age gap, will they yield to temptation? Will Grayson break the promise he made to his friend about his sister?

Wait For Me is an amazing book full of love, laughter, steam, and has a romantic storyline that will pull out all of your emotions. ( when Jack opens up to Nora about his mum , I was GONE… tears rolling down my cheeks)
I devoured this story, not putting the book down until the very last page..

I really enjoy the books by this author. I have been in a reading slump for a while and this one pulled me out of it, so 5 stars.

Nora is a child star, ready to expand her horizon and her wings at 22. After firing her manager she decides to have some time out and stay at her brother's house. There she meets Grayson (hey, just realized it is the author's last name haha), single dad of 3 adorable kids. His ex got addicted to drugs, so he has got full custody and he is struggling a bit - even though he loves his kids to bits. Nora offers to help him out after his babysitter has an emergency and soon she can't deny her attraction to this great guy (and his brood). Fortunately she knows how to handle the kids (and cooking) :-)

I liked the fact this couple knows how to communicate. That is quite refreshing. Just a very nice and sometimes steamy story. The drama stays at the low spectrum. I only wondered about Nora's career. Did she choose it herself? It seems she was just pushed into it and then left alone by her parents, which we hear hardly anything about. Just curious. Liked her brother and sister-in-law. Wonder if they had their own book so that is next on my list to discover.

I’m a huge fan of the single dad trope; there’s just something so sexy about a dad who loves his kids and does whatever it takes to ensure their happiness and safety regardless of how difficult it is to go about things on his own. Grayson Callhoun is one hell of a father to his three kids, and while he may not be the best chaos coordinator at times due to his personal and professional responsibilities, it’s easy to see how much he adores his children, how they keep him going when he’s ready to quit. They’re his lifeline; they’re his everything and that’s made abundantly clear throughout the story.

Nora Hayes has never been able to just be herself. For far too long, her public persona has dictated every move she makes and leading that kind of life has been incredibly lonely as well as exhausting, so I truly can’t blame her for acting out a bit at the beginning of the story, taking back control of her life - something she hasn’t had since she was young - and taking some time to figure out exactly what she wants for herself, and as luck would have it, she takes time away from the limelight in the perfect place, and while she wasn’t looking for anything more than a break from everything that controlled her, Nora finds out that she belongs surrounded by three amazing kids and a man who shows her the meaning of family and just how easy it is to be yourself with the right people.

Nora and Grayson are great characters and it’s clear, early on, just how much chemistry there is between them and how it’s only a matter of time before they give into what’s been developing between them since their initial interaction. But regardless of their attraction, there are a lot of variables to consider, so the slow burn of their romance is perfect for what these two were sorting through in their own lives. Becoming friends and then something more ensures that both Grayson and Nora have dealt with their respective pasts, figured out who they are and what they want and deserve, and then going after it, knowing they’re all in for the long haul, making themselves a family in all ways possible.

I have to say that Grayson’s three kids stole the show, so to speak. Jack, Emma, and Henry are so darn cute, and the way they light up when Nora enters their life, showering love on them that they’re so desperate for made me have all the feels every time they were together.

K.L. Grayson is a new-to-me author, so I was excited to dive into Wait For Me and learn how Grayson crafts her stories, constructing dynamic main and secondary characters as well as creating a plot line that progresses seamlessly and realistically based on who her characters are and what conflicts they need to overcome. And after reading Nora and Grayson’s story in all of its sweet and slow burn glory, I can wholeheartedly say that I’m so glad I signed up for this book, and I’m definitely one-clicking more of K.L. Grayson’s books as soon as possible.

I just fell in love with a single dad. His most endearing qualities are his love for his kids and his total unawareness of how handsome and attractive he is. Grayson Calhoun is the all-American boy and everything a girl could want in a man. Through no fault of his own, he is now raising three kids on his own and nowhere near ready for or expecting romance.

Nora Hayes probably hasn’t made a decision on her own in many years due to her celebrity status. When she finds out that not even her relationship was of her own choosing, she cracks, leaving America shocked and some bruised egos in her wake. Going home for a well-deserved break brings peace and relaxation until her eyes fall on her brother’s sexy best friend. Grayson is a sight for sore eyes and the summer just got a little bit hotter.

This was my first book by author K. L. Grayson and I do believe also my first single-dad book. Those three kids had me hooked right from the get-go and they kept me wrapped around their chubby little fingers till the very end. Nora and Grayson fell into something special with ease but a relationship between a small-town car-restorer and a child star turned pop singer has its challenges.

Through the ups and the downs, K.L. Grayson delivered a sweet and seductive romance that made me swoon. Grayson’s utter cluelessness at times had me laughing or feeling bad for him. I cheered them on, I yearned for every stolen moment, I related to the near misses that come from having children in the house, and I absolutely adored this couple together. Grayson took his time with Nora and all their firsts made me melt.

Wait For Me was an easy read in dual POV. While I anticipated the HEA, all the drama and angst along the way kept me glued to the pages to see just how Grayson and Nora made their two lives mesh together into one. The side characters helped keep things flowing and entertaining. I will certainly be watching for more from this author to make my heart beat a happy tune.

Fun. Feel-good. Sweet.

Wait for Me gave me everything I love in a single parent romance. A hardworking, invested and would do anything for his kids hero. A heroine with a heart of gold that you can’t help but adore. And adorable children that’ll melt your heart and bring all the smiles. I loved this book and the story behind these amazing characters.

Nora has been a childhood star for so long. The darling child actor who is ready for a change. She wants to be seen more like an adult and not that sweet and innocent girl everyone seems to still see her as. She’s grown up, and she wants to maintain true to herself and in doing so she wants to venture and try new things in her career. And when she finds out that her boyfriend’s been keeping things from her and has also been unfaithful, Nora needs to take a break. She decides to spend the summer with her brother and his wife. But what Nora didn’t expect was to meet Grayson and his kids and the impact they’d have in her life.

Grayson hasn’t had it easy. After the problems with his ex, he’s finally feeling like his life is getting back on track. His kids are doing better, no thanks to their mom and his business is growing. And when he meets Nora, his best friend’s sister he’s a goner and the way she’s with his kids, he’s even more gone. So when Grayson’s nanny can’t watch the kids anymore Nora offers to help him out, and emotions he didn’t think he still had start to stir as he starts to get to know Nora.

Grayson and Nora had me swooning left and right. I loved their friendship and how great they were together. They definitely made an awesome team. And Grayson’s three kids were just adorable. I couldn’t get enough of them or of their cuteness.

Wait for Me was such a sweet story. Very little drama and angst. Filled with pure romance and sweet and tender moments. I couldn’t get enough and wanted more of these characters. An all around enjoyable read.

I absolutely adore Wait for Me by K.L. Grayson, the single dad parent trope is one of my favorites!

Nora lives a life full of glamour and fame, she has been in the entertainment business since she was ten. She has a boyfriend who understands her lifestyle, as he is also in the business. When something happens and changes the way Nora looks at things she decides it's time for a change.

Grayson is a single father to three adorable children. Grayson's life revolves around his children, he wakes up early and goes to bed late and repeats the same routine the next day. His best friends Nick and Jessa help him when he needs.

Nora and Grayson meet at Nick's house, who just happens to be Nora's brother. The attraction is immediate for Grayson, when he walks into Nick's house and Nora is there, game over for him.

"I’m the moth to her flame. Her body calls to me, and now that I’ve had a taste of her, I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to stop.”

"I didn’t see you coming, Nora. You’re like a hurricane that blew into my life without warning and destroyed everything I thought I knew."

Nora is 23 years old and did have a lot of growing up and evolving to do in the book. She was very easy to connect to, and I completely understood why she acted the way she did. Grayson is the ultimate catch, so he was absolutely worth growing up for.

Nora and Grayson start out as friends, and the slow burn of this book is perfect. I could not stop reading, the build up of this book amazing. The characters, the story, the plot, the ups and downs, I could not ask for a better book.

The Blurb Says it All...

K.L. Grayson's blurb for this book pretty much tells you exactly what happens, however it's the details that make it a great read.

Single dad and pop star shouldn't ever work in this reality, they are from two totally different worlds, the problem is, she's sick of her world. The single dad is a fresh breath of normal for our pop star, something she's craved for so long.

Nora has been the darling child actor for years and is ready for a change. She's an adult now and would like to be seen as one. Hiding out with her brother for the summer gives her the opportunity to emerge a woman on the red carpet. Little did she know, she would be smitten with the single dad in town, Grayson and his three kids.

Grayson has managed things by himself for two years with the help of a nanny, that conveniently had to quit. One look at Nora and he was a goner, the way she was with his kids...a double goner. Grayson has been too busy to date, however will try to make some time with this beauty.

The book is well written and while I'm not a huge fan of insta-love, K.L. Grayson made it work for me. It was interesting to see how much Nora changed and fit into a normal life so quickly and how much she appreciated it. Things aren't all roses for this young couple, coming from two totally different worlds reared its ugly head and gave the book the perfect amount of angst. Great read!

5 star review of Wait For Me by KL Grayson

Single parent romances have fast become one of my favourite tropes; in fact I would almost say I have become addicted to them.

I am new to K L Grayson and I have no idea why that is based on this book and I will certainly be looking to read more from her as soon as I can.

Grayson Calhoun is a single father to 3 and the relationship he has with his children and the way they relate to one another made for a heart warming story that drew me in and had me totally captivated from the first to the last chapter.

The very last thing that Grayson expects or needs is romance in his life. However fate works in mysterious ways and when Nora Hayes offers to help him with childcare over the summer that is what he gets.

As friendship morphs in to so much more, you cannot help but cheer for Grayson and Nora. However, will real life get in their way and force them to part? Or will these two lost souls finally get the happiness that they deserve?

This was an emotional read that certainly pulled at the heartstrings and you cannot help but fall in love with this story, I know I did. It was at times an emotional roller coaster of a read that will make you laugh, it will make you cry and it will make you swoon.

Single dad’s stories I get, I get that they have to balance life, work and finding love-if that is even possible. Grayson wants what is best for his three kids; he wants them happy and loved by someone that could be a mom. He just didn’t know it was going to come as a famous person.
Nora is at the top of her game, she is loved by so many and her fans are very loyal. But at what cost is it to her, she just wants to wear her own things and sing her way. Yet every time she tries she gets told what and how to act. Now she has had enough and heads to have some downtime with her brother and his wife, what she didn’t intend to do was meet Mr. Right. Nora sees just more than a single dad; she sees a kind soul trying to the best for his kids.
One cannot just love this friend to lovers to family story. Grayson might not be in her same circle, but he gets Nora’s drive, he knows the little things she adores, it’s the grand gestures. Nora doesn’t see the desperation on Grayson’s face, she sees a beautiful strong man doing the right thing for his kids.
I’m her for you. I’ll always come for you
