Rogar is seven feet of muscle and power wrapped in smooth, reptilian scales.
His client is an alien crime boss who wants me as his bride. As far as Rogar is concerned, I’m nothing but a paycheck.
But when we find ourselves marooned on an mysterious planet, my alien captor becomes my protector.
Our days are filled with danger as we struggle to survive in this savage world.
Our nights, on the other hand...
I should hate him. So why do I find him so irresistible?
How can his cool scales heat my blood this way? Why does my love-starved skin scream for his alien touch?
And what’s he hiding beneath that helmet that he refuses to take off?
Alien Warrior's Bounty is a full-length sci-fi romance with no cheating, no cliffhanger, and a guaranteed HEA. While the books in this series will be connected, each one can be enjoyed as a standalone story.
Do you like fast-paced sci-fi adventure, extra-steamy romance, and dominant alien warriors with interesting anatomy? Then you'll love Alien Warrior's Bounty!
Wow! This is one of the best alien syfy romance stories I've read in a long time. This wasn't fluff or smut, though it was seriously steamy with all the weird alien parts to boot, but that aside this was a great story. I read it in one sitting. The world building was phenomenal. The characters and the creatures just jumped off the page at you. Then, of course, I just fell in love with Rogar. His honor and sweet side just pulled me in. I actually fell in love with Clare too. She wasn't annoying. She wasn't a snowflake (except maybe with the leeches but come on who wouldn't freak if covered in leeches? Just saying). Clare was strong and tough, she never gave up the fight, and in the end she got her heart's desire. Each subsequent book I read by Lizzy Bequin just gets better and better.
Lizzy, Lizzy, Lizzy... Gurrrrl! You did the damn thang with this read. I LOVE this story.. I really do. 😍😇😍😇
This one is a fast paced imaginative read. I could not put this down.🤯 The world building and explanations were done superbly. It all flowed organically for me here.. From the chemistry between Rogar and Clare,🥵🥵🥵😍😍😍, to their plight in this beautiful and scary dimension..
And this one had me laughing 😂 really hard with a few scenes as well.
I love this read and highly recommend it. To those who are fans of this genre and Lizzy Bequin's writing, & those who are thinking about taking the plunge with this book.
If you're a fan of The Mandalorian or Star Wars in general and you're interested in alien/sci-fi romance, you should definitely check out this steamy romance novel.
There are a lot of parts which seem to draw on the world of Star Wars. There's a bounty hunter who wears a helmet at all times and who adheres to a code, droids, and more. Clare wears a Princess Leia cosplay outfit for much of the novel, so I feel like Bequin was aware of the parallels between her work and the series.
However, I didn't feel like this book was a rip-off of Star Wars because it has its own impressive lore and worldbuilding. The action was also very enjoyable to read; it really drew me into the novel. I'd definitely be interested in reading more books in the series and more from this author in general!
As for the romance part of the novel, I thought it was pretty well done considering that it's a love story between a bounty hunter and his kidnapped bounty. That's a difficult point to start a romance from, but the progression of Clare and Rogar's relationship is still decently natural.
I personally liked the action and lore more than the romance, though it doesn't mean that the romance was weak or lacking because it wasn't.
I enjoy Ms. Bequin's books. They are guaranteed to include a dominate alpha-type male who knows what he wants. It is usually an overwhelming need to protect and love certain feisty females that lead them on a merry chase.
That being said, I usually like the female characters but Clare irritated me in the beginning. For someone who gets abducted and is taken into space, she does some pretty stupid things. For example, she's in a shootout and she even states that the alien that has her is a better option than the one that is killing humans and still she makes it difficult for him, which of course makes it easier if the other aliens to catch up. When the crash land on a unknown planet and are hovering over a cliff, what does the stupid girl do, she shoots him. She has no sense of survival what so ever. Her was nice to her. She even tells herself she needs him for survival and she shoots him. Idiot! It's a good thing that she comes to her senses because it was enough to have me cry out 'Come on'. I almost wanted bad things to happen to her due to her own stupidity. I really liked Rogan, though and what he stood for. I hope his brother Kozar has a book soon and gets a female that's not as hapless

Another 5 star winner for me. Also, I’m calling dibs on Rogar as my newest addition to my book boyfriend harem😂 As a rule, I don’t normally read a lot of Alien/Sci-Fi romances, but the ones written by Lizzy Bequin are rapidly becoming my new book crack😂 Rogar is an Alien Warrior Bounty Hunter, who takes the job to basically kidnap Clare (a human woman from Earth who unfortunately caught the eye of a really nasty dude from another planet who intends to make her his wife-by force, if needed). Rogar only accepts the job because the payment is something more precious to him than any amount of money. Unfortunately, Rogar isn’t the only Bounty Hunter after Clare, and everything starts going sideways from the get-go. Want to know what happens next? You’ll have to read it! Bwhahahahaha!🤣🤣🤣
This sci-fi roman ce was well written and edited, with few typos that I caught in the ARC version of this manuscript. The world building was excellent, with the current intergalactic community built on the bones of the ancient civilization which was much more technologically advanced then the current space faring races. The characterization of the hero and heroine was great, with both of them being vibrant, sympathetic individuals. The heroine of this romance never hesitated to defend herself or pull the trigger when necessary, which is one of my favorite things about this author's writing style and voice. The development of the romantic relationship between these two characters was fairly natural and organic, especially considering the length of the novel and how much plot was happening in addition to the romance. The pacing and plot of this novel was excellent, with plenty of action and adventure elements and me the reader rapidly turning the pages, because I wanted to know what was going to happen next. There was very little angst in this novel, and very high stakes, which tends to be one of my preferred narrative structures for a romance novel. This novel contains the Fated Mates trope. The world building, plot, and pacing all rated four stars. The characterization and development of the romantic relationship also rated four stars, for a combined score of four stars. This novel has a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger, so that is a big plus for this novel. I recommend this novel to readers who enjoy sci-fi romance novels with alien heroes and adventure elements. I plan to buy myself a keeper copy of this novel, for sure. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and would like to re-read it occasionally.

Rogar is a 7-feet tall Guild bounty hunter, seemingly emotionless as he has to be for his job. Through his contact, he is hired by the crime boss of the Outer Rim, Lord Putrude, a creature with a particularly bad reputation, to bring him a particular Earthling, Clare McNeill, to be his concubine. Although this is not strictly a bounty-hunter job – more like kidnapping actually -- Rogar expects this to be a very simple job, except when he unexpectedly began to feel temptation and yearnings for the female’s softness. He shouldn’t feel anything, least of all from a defiant female such as this one! Yet she brings out a strong protective instinct in him and his body actually wants him to claim her as his own!
If Rogar gives in to his desires rather than completing his contract, it would be a blatant breaking of his Creed, his code of honor. But the human looks so helpless (his thoughts, not the reader’s), and he can’t resist the urge calling to him to make her his mate.
Grab your copy and see if the huge alien with scales and a visored-helmet can conquer the human’s heart (and survive to tell about it). He tracks her down at a Comicon convention, by the way, so that should set your expectations! You are in for a treat with this one, so enjoy!
-This book is obviously based on “The Mandalorian”, which is fine! In fact, it’s 100% why I read the book in the first place.
-The writing is a bit immature, there were some word choices that made me cringe (i.e. describing the MMC’s penis as a “meat” or “spear”, the FMC’s labia as “petals”; can we not do that? lol).
-Some of the details didn’t make much sense to me, like the way Rogar is dressed. Why is he wearing a helmet and a loincloth? I understand why he wears the helmet, but if he’s a bounty hunter wouldn’t he wear armor? Ya know, like the Mandalorian? Maybe that would have made it too similar.
-The FMC was pretty annoying, I didn’t enjoy her chapters.
-Poking the cervix during sex sounds TERRIBLE. And having his semen enter her uterus??? Again I say, can we not?
-Finally: If you are on a “Mandalorian” kick like I am, this is a quick read. It’s not…the greatest alien romance I’ve ever read, but it’s not the worst. Does it scratch the itch? Eh. Not really. There are “Mandalorian” fanfics out there that are far more entertaining and well written (and smuttier!).
Other worlds are able to see our Instagram accounts and other things on the internet. Clare is a young woman in college that is into cosplay and the day she is taken, she is at a Comicon as slave Leia. Lord Putrude is the ruler of a moon that has seen her pictures and wants Clare for his bride. Rogar is the bounty hunter who is going to acquire her. That's where things fall apart. Rogar and Clare get to know each other as they are chased by another bounty hunter and are shot down by an "uninhabited" planet. Eventually Clare ends up being taken to Lord Putrude. Ahh.....there is a HEA, but you'll have to read it to find out what happens.
I really liked this story. The author does a great job building her world. There are lots of aliens out there, but they are all from an ancient race that disappeared eons ago. It all makes sense, in a convoluted way. I definitely recommend this book and I'm going to go to see if the author has written more books. This splendid Sci-fi alien warrior romance certainly grabbed my attention within the first few pages & kept it until the end. The well-paced plot is interesting & full of adventurous situations. There are good scene descriptions & world building. The various characters are well-developed with individual personalities & develop good chemistry between them although one of them is inclined to be quite inquisitive or confrontational at times There is: a Mezentine warrior & bounty hunter (Rogar) is hired by a “Outer Rim Crime Boss” (Lord Putrude) to abduct a certain human female to be his concubine/bride but when he abducts finally abducts (Clare) he discovers that she is a very defiant human female but then the attractions flare so he is quite determined to claim & protect her, spaceships, adventure, action, twists & turns, secrets, drama, suspense, intrigue, devious plans, abduction, complications, threats, danger, conflict, violence, confusion, defiance, strange attractions, memories, confrontations, unexpected assistance, steamy scenes & a well-deserved satisfying ending with a few interesting surprises. I really would recommend this book & it can be read as a standalone.
This is book 1 to the Galactic Hunter’s Guild and a fantastic start to a new series and I can’t wait to read book 2 and this is Rogar’s and Clare’s story. Rogar is being hired by Lord Putrude to get Clare well kidnap her to be his concubine, Clare is at Cosmicon when she is abducted by Rogar and from there the action, adventure, danger, suspense, passion start and so much more to keep you entertained and turning the pages. In the end will Rogar deliver Clare to the horrible Lord Putrude or keep his mate by his side?. Fantastic story I enjoyed it immensely and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
This was a great story. Clare is abducted by a 7 ft. alien. Right in the middle of a Sci-Fi convention. You find out that she might be a weak human but she pretty strong for the circumstance she finds herself in. Rogar is a little teddy bear. Well he turns out to be a great character and a good guy. The story grabs you the first page and takes you on a great ride. Adventure, action, fighting, violence, confusion, passion, love and the real reason that Rogar takes this bounty. Read the story to find out what happens. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Wow! This was a lot better than I expected. Clare is really very strong, especially considering the circumstances for much of the book. Rogar turns out to be such a good guy. The ending just made me so happy. I will admit to laughing at the epilogue. “I guess it runs in the family.” Dear god, I don’t know why that struck me as so brilliant, but it did.

Book one in the Galactic Hunter's Guild series a well written story and I know I want to read the next book. This book is divided into parts PART ONE: ABDUCTED, PART TWO: STRANDED, and PART THREE: RESCUED. I found that I could read a part and put the book down and go do something else and come back and easily start reading again. There is suspense, drama, danger, twists, turns, and romance. I liked this. A new angle on the abduction story. Cosplay and a Comicon Convention? Loved it! Rogar and Clare's story moved along well and the characters were well rounded. I liked the story line and the idea of the Progenitors and travel between stars. A wonderful HEA and room for sequels. A really good read.

Rogar is an alien bounty hunter. His next bounty is a human named Clare. She’s to be traded for his brother to a crime lord so he can make her his concubine. But he gets attacked on earth and he and Clare barely make it to his ship. Then they have to land on a remote planet and things get out of hand after that. Rogar realize me that she is his mate and he will do what it takes to protect her. Fun and exciting

I really enjoyed this one. I've read a bunch of sci-fi romance and this one is awesome. There's a solid background without to much information on Clare and Rogar. The space bounty hunter idea was cool. I love it when there's differences it describes in alien anatomy. I've read several stories about hooks and similar things. This was much better. It's mating without pain that includes the extra appendage. Rogar has a strong sense of honor and is a good male. Clare is hardheaded and stubborn. He's not overly possessive. Babu is the bomb, he's a sweet interesting part of the story. I really liked it. The book took off like a shot and didn't slow down til it ended. There wasn't a bunch of unnecessary information and it was awesome. There's nothing more I could ask for.
Absolutely Awesome Read, well written, great characters, Awesome story line, easy read to hold you on their journey, this genre might not be for everyone but its a really wonderful story cannot wait for more from this Author.

Rogar is a bounty hunter and is hired by Lord Putrude to bring him Clare so that he can make her his concubine. What will happen when sparks fly between Rogar and Clare? Will Lord Putrude let her go? Fast-paced read with lots of drama and suspense. Action-paced with great world building, plenty of drama and steamy chemistry. I really liked it.
This was a great alien adventure with plenty of action, suspense, alien anatomy, steamy sexy scenes and romance with a happy ever after. The story was well written and the characters were well developed and had strong chemistry even with the language barrier. Really like this author's style and imagination.

Once again, another amazing book that had everything. Interesting plot, funny characters, steamy scenes and need I say more. This book was a great read one and it has now made my list for new favorites.
If your looking for a short, satisfying read then this book much like Ms. Bequins other books will not disappoint. 😉
This had a very Mandalorian feel to it, I'd bet my collection of Mando Pop! dolls you might feel that way too. I REALLY liked this one!! I kind of geeked out over it and wished there was a sequel. Maybe there's one in the future? Let's hope! Keep it up, Lizzy!! <3
The author delivered on her word. This is a fast-paced sci-fi adventure, extra-steamy romance with a dominant alien warrior with interesting anatomy, and of course, there’s that fated mate and a hea.
