⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫✨ 4.75 stars

This was such an epic conclusion of this fantastic series and it perfectly set-up future spin-offs! I loved the character growth and the layers of drama and action. I really like books that have a complexity that is pulled off well.

Sophia really felt like the brains behind the operation in this book. I love that she plays the perfect, demure society wife when in reality she kind of pulls the strings. It is great to see a strong mafia heroine who isn’t a complete idiot. I really hate when stubbornness is mistaken for strength in this type of books, so I really liked that she was actually a intelligent, powerful woman. She grows up quite fast from a twenty-two year old daughter, to a mother, CEO, and a wife at the same age.

Alessandro takes a back seat often times to Sophia since she is such a powerful character, but he still gets to shine. I really like that he was a pseudo-stay-at-home dad for a while. It was really sweet how he was described with Dante.

I also loved the bonus chapter set before Bloody Bride at the end! I am super excited for more mafia books from this author coming out! November is Elena’s book, but I am most excited for a book with Dante and Aurelia!

Overall, an awesome ending to a great series!

When I was old, this was probably where I would be relocated.

Why doesn't this author edit her books before publishing?

The protagonists are very romantic here, and I am confused where is the romantic development that got them here. Overall, the series is very bland, not worth of time.

4 ❤️❤️👑❤️❤️🌟s❗️❗️❣️❣️

The Capo in this series was undoubtedly Sophia!!!
The bloody bride who was crowned the Rocchetti Queen!

Her character developed gradually throughout the series, she was an ambitious character, great in manipulation and scheming, devious, yet completely loyal, determined to be powerful and lead together with her husband.

Despite of the story not being properly edited and some issues not having closure, I was engrossed in Sophia’s journey.
She might have found her hea with Alessandro but their love felt emotionless to me.

The epilogue was fabulous, it was wonderful to see their family 10 years after!!

I was in awe with the author’s debut skill to approach the mafia world with a totally different perspective, along with a trilogy!! 👏🤩

“There is nothing you don’t know how to do. No obstacle or challenge you have not defeated. Do you know why I was always going to be the don? Because I had you, my donna, my queen.”

God save the queen and king Sophia and Alessandro Rocchetti.
Sophia Rocchetti, she's a woman that owned me since the very first moment I got to know her. She's just such an amazing character. Her development throughout the books is incredible—I loved seeing how she always prioritized her ambitions and wants, but learned “how to care”, to gain confidence in other people and to show it to the ones who matter—, and she was certainly born to be a queen, no one can deny it. And Alessandro, this man and I had a troubled beginning, but I couldn't help falling for him after all. He’s ruthless, calculating, intelligent; a man who was born and raised to be a king, of course...But when he showed his soft sides to his wife and, But whenever he shows his soft sides to his wife and, later, to his son...? Oh wow.
Their marriage (just like his and mine relationship) had a troubled start, and it definitely kept being hard, but not for the same reasons. The chemistry and the feelings existing between the main characters are insane, and I really like how Bree worked and developed it—and I mean it like, for her first ever published series, it's great. Still, I can't deny I think that if she decides to rewrite/reedit the series, it could be even better.
And this last book has something the other two didn't and that made me love it even more: Dante Antonio Rocchetti. All of Sophia and Alessandro’s scenes with their baby were the cutest, and I LOVE kids in books, so it added up some “free points” to their story—which makes me remember: the epilogue??? EXCELLENCE!!! I can't wait to get to know all the Rocchetti Descendants better, and I am SO excited for Dante and Aurelia’s book!!!

You know what, this is the most romantic book in the trilogy.

And I kinda still don't hate it.

Editing issues aside, this book is one of a kind. Being the unpopular opinion on this one, I'm glad that the whole series hold up from the beginning to end.

4.25 "mafia politics and machinations" stars

This series has proven to be quite interesting. Very heavy on mafia politics, manipulation and secrets, with believable characters relevant for the story.
The author did a great job at showing the human duality. At 22, Sophia is highly intelligent, masterful manipulator and extremely ambitious. In the same time she is a good and caring mother and wife. I ended this series admiring her even if I don't really like her. She did everything she could to survive and thrive even if the cards had always been stacked against her.
Alessandro is cruel, violent and cunning but devoted to his wife and children. He appreciates Sophia for who she really is and for what she can bring to their partnership. I appreciated him empowering Sophia and acknowledging her strengths as valuable to him. Smart man!
Maybe most of all the books, this final one shows their rise to power and it felt inspired from the history of British or French courts. The level of manipulation, the way Sophia speaks (actual words she uses at 22), the interactions with the other families and the finale, I felt like witnessing the rise of a king and queen. I don't know if this is in fact the reality of the mafia but I liked the idea and it felt believable. There are some steamy scenes but nothing over the top and I quite enjoyed that.
My only issue was with the pacing that I felt was a bit slow. The writing in compelling enough but this was not the kind of series that I couldn't put down.
But overall, the story is different from other mafia books out there. It felt much more authentic, less romantic but more realistic, with a great world building.
It is definitely worth the read if you are looking for a more serious mafia suspense with a side of romance.

Wow...that was a shame. The series started off so well but this book gave me the same feels as ‘High Voltage from the Fever series’...the big scary hero turned to mush...🤮 There were so many “my love” this and “my Queen” that...he couldn’t take a single decision without looking at Sophia (I was expecting him to ask permission to go to the toilet at one point). Sex scenes took the place of an actual storyline and don’t get me started on Sophia walking into the FBI building and getting away with it 🙄. The epilogue was cute but I wish the author didn’t need to “dumb down” Alessandro just so that we could see Sophia being in charge.

"Our world was built on duty, violence and loyalty"

I loved this series from the beggining and now i'm a little sad to see it ended. so so many things happened in this book that is hard to review it without giving away spoilers. we finally got all the answers and everything was in the clear. Danta's fate has been such a puzzle and i have to admit i did not saw that coming and i was shocked to discover what really happened to her. Aisling's fate was another thing that really surprised me. we also got to see what happened with adelasia and her baby.

“We’re partners. He is my teammate. My heart. The father of my child.”

As for Sophia and Alessandro, we finally get too see them as a loving couple , as a couple who trust and help each other. Their scenes with little Dante warmed my heart. Seeing Alessandro, whom everyone perceived as a cold man, laughing and playing with his son was so touching. they face so many trials in this book. not only do they face an attack at the hands of someone unexpected, they also have to deal with the FBI, salvi jr. and the new mayor. it looks like they are being attacked from all parts. their only chance at winninng the was is by working together and supporting each other. between sophia's cunning side and Alessandro's ruthlesness, they are a force to be reckoned with. they will do everything in their power to ensure that the Don title gets inherited by alessandro. after a shocking discovery , they get precious support from a person they never expected it from. in order to avoid a disaster and to gain loyalty from an important player, sophia and alessandro must make a difficult decision. will it be worth it? will alessandro gain the throne of chicago?
We also get to see the outlining for future novels such as Tarkhanov empire or Dante's book. Hints were dropped about Isabella's series as well.
i loved the epilogue and how everything worked out for Sophia and Alessando. The epilogue is set a few years in the future and a few interesting facts were dropped. we got to see Dante's personality and i think it's safe to say we got a little alessandro on our hands. i can't wait to read his story.
i love this series so much and i'm so happy to have found Bree and her books ( i annoy her all the time so she is probably less happy about it ) . Sophia is such a perfect heroine and she is right there with Valentina Cavallaro and Chloe Masters on my high pedestal. this series is a MUST for all lovers of Mafia Romance and Arranged Marriage. I can't wait for Elena's series and especially Dante's book.

And it all ends here.

So excited for this. Bree did an amazing job and keeps on coming up with more and more. It's been a definite journey for Sophia. Makes me so happy to see how far the series came and how amazingly Bree did it all.
Can't wait for more from this author.

👍🏽👍🏽

I truly hate to see this series come to an end. It was an amazing end to a fabulous story. I would have loved to know what happened with Aisling and her daughter. I know she was still around because of the son mentioned in the epilogue, but no real closer to my satisfaction.

If I had one complaint about the series, it would be the editing. There were quite a few grammatical errors even though it was said that it was edited professionally.

If you’re looking for something that involves more of the mafia world over romance (there is still romance) this is the series for you!

The series is actually quite short, but you get so much information in all 3 of these books.

I look forward to read more books from Bree Porter!

Bueno bueno bueno...

The Journey of the Rocchetti Dynasty has come to an end. I feel - i do not know - sad. I really look forward to hearing more about the Rocchetti's in future books. I would recommend reading the first two books "The Bloody Bride" & "The Principessa of Chicago" before starting this book, as it is the final installment of the Rocchetti Dynasty.

If I were to give one word for each book, I would say Book #1 is the Rise, Book #2 is the Climax, and Book #3 is the Ascension of the Rocchetti Dynasty.

The Rocchetti Queen, #3, finds us in the throes of the shocking ending in Book #2 and its aftermath. The family is in utter shock, but this event has left a power vacuum within the Family/the Outfit. Who will take over Don Piero's throne? Who is loyal to whom? All these questions will be answered and much more - prepare yourself for some shocking revelations as the story unfolds.

For Sophia and Alessandro, these two have not only solidified their love for one another, but also their ambitions and working together as a team. We find them making moves to position themselves as the future Don & Donna of Chicago, while also trying to figure out their new title as parents. During the course of their ascension to the throne, Sophia uses her prowess of being a patient, intelligent, and cunning woman as an advantage to help her husband take his seat at the throne - while Alessandro handles the less than grainy side of things. Seriously, He's known as the "Godless", he's an expert! Sophia would make a good politician. It's in her blood.

There are things revealed which would shock you (or perhaps not - maybe you paid as much attention as i did while reading :-) ). Secrets are revealed. Boy are they revealed!!! We find out what happened to Alessandro's mother, who killed Don Piero, the outcome of Adelasia's case, knowing if Cat and Sophia will reunite, and the final showdown of who would be the new king of the Rocchetti clan. Through all these events, we will see who is truly loyal to Alessandro (one big surprise that I truly loved) and some interesting alliances which will have an impact on the future. One of the best things about this book was seeing the change in Alessandro, which you can see starting in Book #2. Love and family changes a man. This couple just bettered each other; they make a great team.

I cannot wait to see what will happen with future stories and possible couples. I hope that Bree decides to write about them :-) (Bree, I'm talking about "N" & "O" ;-) ). I was smiling as i was reading the epilogue. I was so happy. My guess was RIGHT!!! The second generation is going to be GREAT!!! This book was a welcomed conclusion to the Rocchetti dynasty. I hope to see more Rocchetti's in the future. I tried to remain spoiler free, so please forgive me if i gave anything away unwillingly.

The Rochetti Queen is an explosive and thrilling conclusion to a fantastic series. Bree Porter's storytelling skills are top notch and she weaves a unique and unforgettable mafia romance that completely blew me away. Sophia and Alessandro's story has an intricate and captivating plot that gets better and better with each book. This final installment had some great twists and turns amidst family drama, shocking revelations, and the ultimate power struggle within a crime family.

I really enjoyed the unique quality to this story as well as the previous two books. As an avid reader of mafia romance I was impressed by how differently the story was structured and the way the plot flowed. In this book Alessandro and Sophia really come together to form a power couple, balancing each other out perfectly. I love the way they made each other better and stronger. I loved how Alessandro always treated Sophia as an equal as opposed to just a mob wife. He was so protective of her and valued her opinion. I was so glad we finally got to see the extent of his feelings for her, and seeing how he interacted with his son was so amazing. Sophia has grown so much from the girl we met in book 1 of this series. She truly rose to her position as queen but still remained a kind and good person. I loved the balance the author created within her character. She was strong and resilient while still having a softness about her.

The two of them together were a great team who faced some huge obstacles in this book. There was so much going on within the story. The suspense elements were really well written, as was the romance. The complicated family issues became even more complicated as the family dealt with the repercussions of the events that took place at the end of the previous book. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this trilogy and am so happy to have been introduced to this author. I am so thrilled that there are more books to come within this world, and Elena's story is bound to be another great chapter in this incredible saga. I am so ready for it!

Finally made this to the end of this series and I’m so glad I decided to read it. This is the best book in this series in my opinion.

We got to see more moments between Alessandro and Sophia as a couple where they shared very romantic moments and as a team ,which make me like both of them more, when they needed to , we also got to see Sophia becoming the queen of Chicago, her character development was just AMAZING , it got better and better in each book. Probably one of the best female mafia heroines I’ve ever read. She’s intelligent, loving , selfless but also cold hearted and extremely protective when it comes to her family. She’s the real Capo to me ! ALSO the moments between baby Dante and his parents were ADORABLE I fell in love with this little grumpy baby !

I’m such a sucker for domestic scenes and the epilogue gave me that and MORE , cant believe they had 4 children , each of them having an unique personality that I can’t wait to read about. Cannot explain how excited the ending left me to read the Rocchettis next gen books !

This trilogy was fun and offered a different dimension to the mafia romance genre as this focused more on Sophia finding her place and not so much about the romance. While it was a little fanciful at times, the action was fun and there was even a small heist which I'm a sucker for. If you need a strong romance plotline this wouldn't be a good fit.

Perfect conclusion to the perfect story. I’d have to say I could see some changes in Bree’s writing style in the last book. Which is amazing ! She concluded the story in the best way possible.

Something that doesn’t interest me is that when a “mafia” book only revolves around romance. But Bree Porter slayed with this book and I’m literally obsessed with her stories.

Again, let me talk about Alessandro because he’s just the most ideal of them all. I love the way he supported his wife instead of suppressing her decisions. Absolutely adored his charm throughout the book.

I just feel like I’m repeating my words same as my review for book 2, but Sophia’s character development inspired me to a whole next level, considering how everything started in The Bloody Bride (book 1). Alessandro and Sophia were truly a team and meant for each other. I’m so glad they got what they deserved.

Now I’m off to read Elena and Konstantin’s book (Kingpin’s Foxglove) I just know their book will be a perfection off charts !
