Another fun unforgettable romance

I enjoyed Kacey and Sawyer. They are both such sweet people and I'm so jealous they get to live in such a picturesque place and ride horses every day. The suspense in the story was great. I found myself skipping ahead a few times to see where things were going. I find it interesting in this series the different levels of amnesia the characters have. Some will get flashbacks and get most, but usually not all of their memories back, but in Kacey's case it was very different. I like seeing how they navigate their world under those circumstances. This was a great best friends to lovers story.

I will not summarize this story because it is already given in the description of this book. The purpose of this review is to give potential readers information to make an informed decision about reading this story.

What I liked or found interesting:

• The opening of the story caught my interest and immersed me into its depths.
• Kacey and Sawyer were characters that you wanted to discover more about as you continued to read their story.
• The minor players in this story added depth to the storyline and were well developed.
• The descriptions of locations and emotions were well done, easy to visualize, and to feel. I felt a part of the scenes.
• The author held off in telling us why Kacey seemed so fearful or what she knew that put her in danger. These facts are given to the reader bit by bit. This added a lot of suspense.
• This is a clean read. I appreciate authors who do this. I think it takes more talent to write this way.
• There were some twists and turns to the plot.
• The pacing of the story was neither too slow nor too fast.

I highly recommend this book to those readers who enjoy romance with suspense. I received an advance copy of this book from the author. My review was voluntary and my opinions were my own.

I want to give more stars. Danae Little has done it again with another incredible amnesia story.

When I first read an amnesia story I wasn’t sure if I would like them or not, but I am most definitely hooked. This story reminded me a lot of the movie called The Vow. Sawyer never gave up on her, they had a history Dare couldn’t remember but he had enough memories for the both of them. Sawyer had lost her once to the Big City, he’s not going to lose her again, memories or not. And he will fight for the both of them.

I loved both of these characters so much, they feel like family, as does their little town who all did their part to keep her safe.

Oh and throw in some suspense and you have the perfect storm for page turning.

I received a complimentary copy and I am giving my honest review voluntarily

No memory.

Kacey moves back home from the big city, running for her life. But in order to keep her loved ones safe, she doesn’t tell anyone.

-‘Maybe she just had to act like nothing happened. Maybe he would go along.’-

-‘She needed her friend now, and it seemed like she just might have him. How she would keep the secret from him, she didn’t know, but she had to. Knowing Sawyer, he would want to drive back to the city and kick some booty. Yet, those people played seriously and not with their fists.’-

Then, tragedy strikes and she can’t tell anyone...as she has no memory - not even of who she is... This is a clean romance with no cliffhanger and it is a stand-alone book.

Great plot,
great characters
and just enough suspense to be interesting, but not overpower

Kacey's amnesia was interesting. She lost actual memories, but some places and people still held an emotional connection. She didn't understand it, but she recognized "safe" and "familiar" even when she didn't remember anything else. Then there were tasks she just knew... like saddling her horse. I can imagine those little things protected her sanity.

Sawyer was more than just "steadfast." He was overprotective... well, from Kacey's pov. He and her folks thought he was doing the right thing.
You can probably guess that she learned he was correct before they move into their HEA.

Kacey leaves home to pursue acting. But things don’t turn out as she had hoped. She flees home under fear, but due to an accident loses her memory. Seeing Sawyer, her best friend since childhood, brings up old and new emotions that scare her. Due to a misunderstanding she backs off from those feelings toward Sawyer. But Sawyer is her Steadfast Cowboy, there through it all. Steadfast Cowboy has some suspense in the story. I loved this story. Reminds me of Christ with his Steadfast Love, always there for us no matter what.

Another great book by Danae Little.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Her Steadfast Cowboy. Danae Little did a great job developing her main and supporting characters. Sawyer West makes the perfect cowboy hero. He is unwavering in his protection of Kacey. The plot has twists and turns, and the pacing was perfect for this story. I highly recommend this to clean/wholesome romance readers, romantic suspense readers, and to contemporary western romance readers. You're in for a treat! I got my copy through KU.

Kacey and Sawyer 💞

Another sweet, very clean as well as suspenseful story!

Kacey and Sawyer have been best friends their entire lives. Sawyer has loved her almost as long. However, once she was old enough, she decided to leave small town Wyoming, and Sawyer, and head to the big city. Things didn't work out as planned, so several years later, she came home with her tail between her legs, as it were. All this time, Sawyer has been almost like a zombie and just existing. He spots her that same day as she is out riding her horse. They immediately reconnect and agree to go out with friends the next night. Then tragedy strikes. Kacey wakes up with no memory.

Poor Sawyer. One day after getting his "Dare" back, she's in the hospital with amnesia. When she finally wakes she is immediately drawn to him.

Lots of excitement and suspense, as well as some frustration to get through until a wonderful HEA and very nice epilogue. One thing I could have done without during most of the book was Sawyer's Honey...ugh. Read to find out why lol!

Kacey and Sawyer have so much to heal from. Her memory is gone and there is no physical reason why. The suspense of trying to find out what happened while still working to heal the past is hard. Kacey doesn't remember a time when Sawyer wasn't part of her life but Sawyer remembers her leaving and how it broke his heart. The twist of no physical injury adds an extra layer of suspense to this amnesia story. I really like how Danae is able to tell these stories to draw the reader in and help the reader think of how they would handle this type of situation.

Her Steadfast Cowboy

Sawyer and Kacey had been best friends since they were mere children growing up next door to each other on their respective ranches. After Kacey goes to the city she is brought into a dangerous situation unknowingly. When warned to leave town she heads home to her parents and Sawyer. Sawyer witnesses her being the victim of a hit and run. As a result of the accident she has amnesia and doesn’t know anyone. A mysterious man appears claiming to be her boyfriend asking questions. They are also being followed. Will Sawyer be able to keep her safe?

Her Steadfast Cowboy

Another amazing book on love and intrigue. This story is of a young woman who comes home after a stint in the city only to have someone try to kill her. She wakes up with amnesia and a boyfriend who she does not recognize. This is a very compelling story and a hard one to leave and not finish in one read. This is my review and mine alone. Her steadfast Cowboy

I liked the cowboys love that never let go. I was amazed at how memory was familiar with feelings. I did not like the Joe character and thought he could have been more open and not caused so much anxiety. Good read!

Reclaiming Their Lost Love:
By Korkoi -

Sawyer and Kacey had been best friends since they were prepubescent, but she for a while to pursue her dreams. They didn’t speak to each other until she returned home unexpectedly. Even after four years, their close relationship is still the same, but this time there is danger lurking in the shadows around them. The suspense and angst in the story, will keep you on the edge of your seat, trying to anticipate what is going to happen next. The author’s portrayal of small town Pine Haven and the way they look out for each other, is so believable and realistic, that it will make you want to move there immediately. The storyline is intense and captivating, with a wonderful message of patience, perseverance, support and communication. If you want to read an interesting and enjoyable story, then I recommend you add this book to your must read list.

I received a copy of this ARC and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

(3.5 stars) - the patience of a cowboy saint

The premise is intriguing. The story is good; and I liked the main characters, as well as the small town setting & characters.

It suffers from far too much repetition, however. And what should have been exciting & suspenseful began to feel monotonous. If it had been shaved from 15 chapters down to 10, it probably would have been about right.

Still, though I may have skimmed a bit of the middle, it kept me interested in the ending. And I'll be looking for the next book in the series when it comes out.

*Clean romance level: sweet kisses
