Great Series

Enjoyed this book. Strangely, I read the
next series in this world first. It was great to see the development of characters,I met in that series.

The final book in the Sorcerer's Oath is a satisfying conclusion to the saga. Although some of the perspective shifts can be distracting, the book flows well as it helps to wrap up the story. The titular Wizardess doesn't appear in this book until about halfway through, and the ending is somewhat anticlimactic. However, the ending is satisfying and wraps up the story very nicely. Because of the vibrant setting and enticing characters, I do recommend this series to fantasy lovers.

I would give it 5*, but

No one bothered to make sure at least the main character's name was spelled correctly throughout the book???? Poor form.

I very much enjoyed the series, a unique story with morals and good values both towards people, fey, animals and plants. Interesting discussions as Tarkyn worked through his adjustment to life away from the palace.

I really enjoyed the entire 4-book series. The plot line was very well thought out & the characters were interesting. The 4th book could use a little proofreading, however. Tarkington is mistakenly spelled “Tarquin” many times and even “Taruin” once. The 4th book’s title should have been “Sorceress,” not “Wizardess.

Enjoyable

Not often do I find a fantastic book that focuses on the relationship with the hero and his involvement in two different societies and his ongoing maturation. The entertaining plot develops this theme very impressively.

This is a YA series, and while the class and gender discussions are somewhat useful, my biggest complaint is that while almost the entire series takes place in a forest there was no real descriptive text to help me see the surroundings. If you love dialogue, this is your series!

Too good to put down.

I absolutely couldn’t stop reading this book. I was drawn in from page 1. So many twists and turns. You won’t want to put the book down.

Sorcerer's Oath

I have really enjoyed this series. Great writing throughout all four books. I was kind of daunted when I seen that they were 700 - 800 pages long, however I dont believe it could have been done any other way. And when you star reading these books the time just flies by. I hope to hear more from this world.
