Angelic Schemes is the prequel novel to the Louisianagel series. It can be read either before or after reading the Louisiangel series, however, the ending will provide spoilers for 'Angel in Training'. If you prefer not to read the spoilers, you can read the book, but skip the epilogue at the end.

Her first novel was written when she should have been revising for her exams. While it is unlikely to ever see the light of day, it was the start of long relationship with the evil plot bunnies of doom.
A need to do more than just one subject led her to the University of Hull, where she graduated with an honours degree in American Studies. For the third year of the four year degree, she was able to call Baton Rouge home. Since then, Louisiana has claimed a large chunk of her heart, and remains a place she will always consider home.
LSU was where she discovered FanFiction and currently writes (mainly) CSI:NY stories and a Rescue: Special Ops story.
When not transcribing the stories of the angels and archangels, working, or DJing, she is at the beck and call of three cats – all of whom rank higher in the household than she does.

Heaven help the Devil, may he have a few unpleasant memories and all the right answers
“Angelic Schemes” by C.L. Coffey is a prequel to the “Louisiangel” vampire urban fantasy series, that explores a verse in which the Archangel Michael, for reasons on his own, has set his domicile in a patrician house in Louisiana to lead his angelic hosts.
“Angelic Schemes” tells Lilah’s story and set the premise for the 'Louisangel Series'. Lilah is the first human to ascend to the angel choir, as the Archangel Michael puts her before the decision between going straight to Heaven or becoming an Angel, she doesn’t hesitate. Gaining her wings and becoming an angel must be the hardest past, right? Wrong! Follow the rules or lose the wings, that what Michael said, but… falling in love and bending the rules seemed without consequence, and thus Lilah went looking for answers, and answers she found in the place she less expected. Lilah was the first, first human to become an Angel, first Angel to ascend as Archangel, and the very first to release Lucifer from his infernal prison.
“Angelic Schemes” is a captivating story, that offer a brand-new version of the angelic lore, read at your own discretion, because this are not the winged beings you used to see in the renaissance paintings 😉
