I tried..but nope.

The story is about Lucifer, the daughter of the MC's prez, who returns home after she was banished 5 years ago for something she didn't do. She had 5 lovers, all part of the MC, and one of the guys left with her while the other four are pissed off at what she did..which was stealing coke..weird.. because she didn't really stand up for herself and allowed herself to be kicked out when she got accused. I mean, the guys go on and on about her being a kickass woman and just that incident from her past doesn't make sense with her image. Oh, and before she was banished, she seduced each guy and tried to get herself pregnant by letting them think that she was on birth control like..ewww..NO. She comes back with her 5 year old daughter and suddenly puts out orders that each guy belongs to her. Like umm..what?

To be honest, this whole story would have slightly worked if the story was built from past to present. I enjoyed reading the dialogues about what everyone did when they were kids. Otherwise this one was a failed concept at an MC novel. The separation made zero sense and the lack of groveling got me uninterested too fast. Simply boring.

Sorry for the long review (:

This is a Reverse Harem, MC book. It can be read as a standalone, but the ending sets it up for the next book which is about the main characters daughter when she is grown up, so if you’re not planning on reading the next book, stop when it gets to the “seven years later” chapter.

I have to say I actually really like this book. The author has great writing skills, no errors and honestly the sex was HOT. Please remember this is an MC book, so murder, sex, etc are not out of the ordinary for them so please don’t read this book if that isn’t up your alley and then give the book at bad review, because the storyline was great and the author really can write well, and its not fair to her if you cant handle those things and then leave a bad review because of it. A little example for y’all, they regularly refer to all women as b*tches, they belong in the kitchen, they have “sweetbutts” who hang around the club to take care of the men’s needs (even the ones that have wives- but there is no cheating from our main characters), they talk about murdering people like its no big deal at all. You’re warned.

Now, the thing I didn’t like about the book, which is the reason for my deducting a star, is the random paranormal twist the author added. Everything about this book could be read as real life, especially for a one percenter MC, but then all of a sudden we have a paranormal aspect going on. I love paranormal books, my book history proves that, but it just didn’t fit in this book for me AT ALL. That could have been left completely out of the story and I personally would have enjoyed it more.

Also, the ending. I felt like it ended pretty dang fast and all of a sudden its jumping into a situation that happened to their daughter (the seven years later chapter I referred to earlier). Then, its fast forwarding again and its in the daughters perspective. I understand why the author did this. I know it was to set up the next book that is about the daughter and her men, but honestly I felt like it would have been better to have a solid ending to their story and then just have a completely separate book for the daughters story. Again, I get the point of the way she ended it, it just didn’t flow well to me, personally.

Other than those two things, I really did enjoy the authors writing, the fact that even though Lucie grew up the way she did, she wanted to shield a lot of it from her daughter. I liked watching the men who are tough as nails try to figure out how to be daddies. And I really liked watching the love between our main characters. I’m a sucker for an alpha male. Also, I want to point out that I saw a few reviews that said “if they loved her so much why did they let her leave.” I really just want to throw it out there that to a MC, that is their FAMILY. They literally would die for each other. So, these young men who, lets face it are probably still immature, are told their woman is a traitor by their president of all people, that’s not something they can just ignore. No, its not fair, and yes they should have talked to her, but they all said she never denied the allegations against her, so at the time they believed she betrayed them, and it crushed them so yeah, they let her be exiled. How did y’all not get that? Lol

So yeah, there’s my long a$$ review. Enjoy!!

Sooooo hot! The FMC was a badass who held her own. I wish this had been a longer book, because I couldn't get enough of the story line or the characters. Although, even if it had been longer, I probably would still say I couldn't get enough. The guys were a perfect mix of damaged and heroic. I loved that they were so tight-knit. The pace was fast and steady, the sex was HOT AF, and the plot was twisty enough to keep me on my toes. Can't wait to start Their Saint next!

DNF at 66%... there’s just not enough going on to keep me interested. The relationships are pretty much locked down from the first couple of chapters & then it’s just life at the clubhouse & not much else. I just got bored.

I really liked this book. It was the perfect blend of dark and light that I didn’t even know I needed until this book gave it to me.

I went through so many different emotions while reading this. I laughed, I raged, I cried, and I smiled so much. I love it when a book can capture my heart and that is exactly what this book did. I love Lucie and her guys so much and their story gave me so much joy to read.

My only complaint with this book would have to be how the love story was written. I would have LOVED to see how Lucie fell in love with each of the guys and how they each came to realize their feelings for her. This book starts off with them all already in love which took some of the magic out of their relationship. I couldn’t fall in love with them like I wanted to.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I am super excited to read the next one!!! Bring on Amaryllis’s story!!!

Your girl loves her some MC books and RH. Mixing them together makes me even happier. However, if I'm being honest, I would've given this 3.5 stars but Lucie made me bump it up. Now I can't wait to read Ama's book because it's taboo!

Interesting take on MC life. I'm not quite sure why this was classified as Dark. I hadn't really paid attention to the blurb, because I fell in love with the cover, but I wasn't expecting a RH.

This story had a huge time jump at the end and left plenty of unknown elements out that left me confused. I felt like I was missing a huge chunk of the story. Had I not liked the actual characters, I'm not sure I would have even scored this a book at even a 3.

I love the RH trope but I can only handle it when it's 3 men anything feels unrealistic to me which sounds crazy to some but idk 5+ men isn't realistic to me

I can maybe tolerate 4 .....

This was kinda a single parent who reunites with her 4 men after being banished from the MC.. it's alot but idk i didn't vibe with this one

Not your usual characters, worldbuilding or love story. Not too bad but not very good either.
Lucy/Lucifer is a problematic character. It is hard to follow her feelings or reasoning, I just couldn't relate to her at all.She holds no grudges where she is due and is unreasonable, down to being nearly doormat, as well as aggressive and/or confrontational. I understand the author tried to create her as layered personality but with crucial chunks of this personality coming into being, she is hard to accept or like. The rest of characters are just page deep. Big,scary men who are softies around their girls. All good and well except... There was supposed to be relationship between them all.Author is not building it,merely retelling. All empty words with no feelings or show to back it all up.

And chunks and chunks of time and events missing that could have actually showed the reader their love story. Overall the whole book could be retold in few sentences : Lucy returns home to her crime family after unfair exile bringing her daughter with her;4 guys from before exile are still in love with her and are now in charge-all 4 are happy, yet one frowns a bit; cartel supposedly wants Lucy dead but miracle show up of her real father saves a day by two paragraph long explanation of everything; her dead lover talks to all of them, yet the only real help is couple explanatory sentences at the end-curtains down, the book is over.

Let's not forget the sex scenes, shall we? I didn't like them.Maybe it is my predisposition or perception that spitting in someone's mouth during sex is not a gift and sexy or rough gangbang with domination and descriptions of gagging sidefects like tears and snot or dick face slaps are not erotical. Maybe it is for more advanced readers. For me I don't want to feel "Ewww" while reading sex scenes . Truly- it's left up to taste in reading material.

So,while writing is not the worst,it still leaves a LOT of space for growing . Plot is weak and characters one dimensional. Yet,you can read it in couple of hours.

This was soo good.

Gosh this book and my heart. I don't even know where to begin, I loved Lucifer. Seriously, I mean with a name like that she had to be one tough B and she was. Lucifer was pretty bad ass, and it was so incredibly refreshing. Her men were at first rough around the edges, especially Wolfe but they do come around. What's most shocking is the role Ryan plays in the story too, even in death he never stops loving Luci and omg the heartache it caused me. This was an honest to god amazing read, jam packed with emotions and juicy love scenes. It also set up the next book perfectly, I loved seeing the men act as fathers to Amaryllis and am super excited to read her story with her men.

Hmmm so much promise with this book, yeah a bit unbelievable 1 woman n five bikers but I suspended belief.

My main problem with the story is the absolute lack of plot, it just plods on n on, it's like shes got all her characters lined up but doesnt know what to do with them!

Not until 86% does something finally happen! Very frustrating

Such a shame as a great kick arse f lead, but after finishing the book di I really know much about any of them? Nope Nadal

Will try book 2 cos I wasnt to read amaryllis' story but if it's like this one I wont be wasting my time to the end.

Disappointing to say the least.

Bizarre!

WOW!

Wow what a story! The princess is back and not taking no for an answer and hey Mel better get with it! This author did it again, giving the reader a story with heat (of course) and characters with lots of attitude. The only thing I wish is that it was longer, I just want more of them they're that great!!

Loved it

I just love it when an author writes about a kick butt female who knows what she wants in life and is not afraid to be a woman too. Luce is just that female with 5 hot alpha males who love her. A well written great story that had me not wanting to put it down. Loved it! Happy reading.

So good!

This was my first MC story and what an introduction. Lucie and her “demons” were such dynamic and complex characters. The story was laid out so well, propelled in such a natural way to keep things interesting and still move forward. There was action and passion and emotion to spare. What a great ride! I can’t wait to read the next book.

The female lead was ridiculously cocky, the male leads didn't do much for me either. The story line was none existent, the one part of the story (the very last chapter) that could have made a good story line was just mentioned in passing.

This one definitely wasn't for me.

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
Their sinner is the first book in the ‘’hell’s rebels MC’’ series.
I devoured this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. Their sinner is the first book of Serena Akeroyd’s that I have read. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline entertaining. Lucie is the hells rebels MC princess. When she was set up and exiled she took one man she loved but left behind four others. Six years later and she is back with a surprise. Determined to get her men back, will she succeed?
The chemistry between Lucie, Flame, Axe, Dagger and Wolfe is clear to see and I loved them together. I have to admit, Flame was my favourite and Wolfe irritated me.
I loved how kickass, feisty and badass Lucie is.
I loved Lucie’s little girl. She is adorable and fierce.
I liked the ending of this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait to dive into the next book!

‘Without them, there was only darkness.’

Lucifer Steeler (age 24) aka Lucie has returned to her MC home after 6 years. She was exiled with a false accusation until one of her loves, Ryan sadly passes away and she comes to reclaim her home. Her little girl Ama is daughter of now club President Wolfe.
Wolfe, Axe (VP), Flame (Enforcer) and Dagger (Treasurer) have all missed her and are happy to have her back.

This is an interesting read for dark romance since it shows more of a realistic essence of club life where the guys are not faithful and deal with illegal acts. The connection with the characters is strong and I loved how we even had Ryan in his pop-in talks.

Overall it is an okay read with a couple of spicy scenes.

The next book is the story of the daughter Ama, and I will be reading that since I am intrigued.

I've finally managed to got to read this book......life kept getting in the way so I settled down and picked it up this morning and WOW I haven't been able to put it down!!! I can't believe I've waited so long to read this but it was SO worth the wait. Got to absolutely adore Lucie jeeee she has balls, big ones, knows what she wants and boy does she go after her goal. The intertwining story between Lucie and her guys had me signing, snarling and swooning all at the same time. Brilliantly written....one of favourite authors.....now onto Their Saint.....

Amazing MC read!

I chose 5 stars because (once again) I had NO IDEA where Serena Akeroyd was taking me with this book. Lucie is a sexy, bad as* momma. Her men love her, their daughter, and their MC brothers with a ferocity that bleeds through on every page. I can't wait to read the next installment in this series!

OML!!!!!

I loved this book by Serena so much. I have read so many MC books over the years, but this was my first RH MC book and I was not disappointed.

Lucie's story hit me hard over and over. A strong mum, doing whatever it takes to make her daughters life the best it can be while juggling her heart and the backlash of her past.....she doesn't take s*** from anybody.

I re-read this every time I need to be reminded to keep pushing through.

Amazing and ooohhhh soo HOT 🔥🔥🔥 Lucie is no pushover and seeing her take charge was amazing. I love the dynamic between her and her men! The truth comes out in so many unexpected ways that I was telling “wait what” and cheering for this strong female lead!! This is a MUST read for anyone who loves the MC/Filthy series because it’s going to show you a link that will have you shouting!!

3.25⭐️, I’m going to be completely honest, it was entertaining at least in the beginning, it could be 4⭐️ if it wasn’t because the men didn’t even asked for forgiveness, Lucie simply forgive them so easily, I mean I understand that it was for the sake of her daughter, but come on they needed to suffer a little bit.
