I couldn't wait for this to end.
The first half of the book was incredibly slow and it took all my willpower to push through. However, I really did like the way everything wrapped up.

Huge thank you to Frost Kay for this eARC in exchange for an honest review. This was a satisfying ending to an amazing series. I loved this series from Rebel's Blade and that stayed consistent til Court's Fool. I love these characters and I could easily spend a day in the Aermian Court. I read this book in 24 hours because I needed to finish it ASAP. I've said it before but Frost Kay's writing is easily comparable to popular YA authors at this time. Her stories easily compete with authors like Victoria Aveyard and Sarah J. Maas. I have recommended this series to so many in the past and I will in the future. I love Tehl and Sage's story and I look forward to revisiting their kingdom in future series.
I gave this four and a half stars because I would easily read it again and I will continue to recommend it to others. My only gripe is I don't think one of the minor secondary characters, Dorcus played a big enough role to be included in the story. However, I do know Frost is writing other stories in this world so it could have been just an introduction.

What a spectacular ending to this story arc! Frost Kay has given closure to so many of the characters in this story. It was truly satisfying. She has left herself open for more stories to be told in this world and I am glad for it. I can't wait to dip back into Aermia again in the future. Ms Kay has quickly become one of my favorite authors. She has the ability to present really dark scenarios without destroying the hope of the characters and readers. This is a talent I really appreciate in the current climate of our 2020 world. I read to escape and need to see others overcome darkness. She writes that beautifully.

I’m staying at my 3 star rating of the last book.
Everything all comes together and wraps up, and I think maybe I was just so happy for some action and for some closure that this book was a lot better than the last few for me.
I didn’t love this series… I loved different characters as the story went on, but I never even loved the same characters all the way through the series. There’s too much awful shit and not enough happy shit to make this series feel worth it.

Disappointing finale
Feels like most of the book is gore and bloodshed since we get so many viewpoints of Tehl and Sage. To me it was boring and too gruesome/predictable, so I skim-read most of those pages. I don’t understand why we get so much of Tehl and Sage either because some new details about Dorcus make her a much more interesting character, and the drama around Jessica would be nice to have flushed out more. The book probably needed to be twice as long, so it could expand on the details surrounding the supporting characters that were introduced and invested in during book 5. Also, the focus in book 5 seemed to shift from Tehl and Sage to Sam and Jessica, but that focus is back on Tehl and Sage in this book with no real benefit. Overall, a super disappointing end to this series. There are things that don’t add up well and the flow is somewhat choppy and confusing due to the information that is skipped or not flushed out enough.

3 stars! I loved this series overall, but I think the last two books could've been combined (and the final battle shortened). This book took place over the long final battle, and I found myself desensitized to the constant war and gore. I also felt like the action skips over critical emotional scenes, like I was yanked through the storyline without enough time to process what was happening. The multi-character POV hopping jolted me out of the story and made it hard for me to stay engaged.
I am really interested in the novella featuring Gavriel and Mira, though...I've always liked them individually so I'm curious how they would be like together!
This series was the catalyst for my love of hidden gem/indie books, and while the last book wasn't my favorite, the series overall was super entertaining and I'd definitely recommend!

What an amazing conclusion to this wonderful series. I had been waiting for this for so long.
This book tells the story of our favorite Aermians during the war against Scythia. There are also a few chapters from Dor's and Mer's perspectives to really bring together all facets of the story.
Although there are tons of characters, they are each described so well during the series that I felt connected to each and everyone of them. They all have their own personalities and so much depth.
I am often hesitant to read books with lots of POV but I found that in this novel, and the series as a whole, it was not difficult to follow despite the fast pace of the story.
For those who love strong female characters, this series has plenty. Sage is the epitome of a resilient heroine who is not afraid to sacrifice her life for the benefit of others. She is so selfless that it becomes a flaw.
I am also a huge fan of Mira; I could feel her empathy and how much she genuinely cared for all of her patients throughout the story. As a healthcare professional, I truly connected with her character and can imagine the pain behind her words.
I am a bit disappointed at how her storyline ended in this book but I was thrilled to read that she will be getting a novella! I have an inkling as to what will happen with her and I cannot wait to read it.
I have truly enjoyed falling in love at the same time as the characters, as the author created strong relationships. That is great thing about a story told from multiple POV is that I could see and feel both sides of each relationship, romantic or platonic.
I found this passage about Sage on the battle field as seen by Tehl so poetic and such a good reflection of their love for each other.
This quote is also a good representation of the sophisticated yet simple writing style of Frost Kay.
I am so glad I was able to read this last installment of The Aermian Feuds to beautifully tie up each storyline (except Mira's, of course)! I recommend this series to anyone who enjoys fast pace, action filled, fantasy novels.

Court's Fool is the "final" book in Frost Kay's Aermian Feuds series. This book is packed with drama and danger from the very beginning and for readers who have read from the beginning this book is sure to hook you in and keep you page-turning. I will say this...you'll be left with questions, but the author promises to answer them in other books that will be spin-offs from this series.
I truly enjoyed this book, though at times I felt a bit lost at times. The consequences of reading so many other stories in-between. LOL! So when I have the time I will be going back and rereading the entire series from beginning to end to truly immerse myself in the storyline and not miss a beat and better be able to follow everything that is going on with the characters. There is a lot of violence and fighting in this book, honestly, that's to be expected when the characters are at war. Lives will be lost, and there will be other loss as well. I love that the author puts the characters in some...rather unpleasant situations where tough decisions have to be made. It helped elevate the storyline for me, and while it's a work of fiction...made it just that tiny bit more real.
There isn't much that I don't like about this book but I did get a bit annoyed with some of the repetitive word usage in places. The author is very talented with her writing skills so for certain words to be used again and again...in the same sentence...it was a bit disappointing. I was also disappointed that we didn't get more of the other characters in this story. It made it feel like something was missing but knowing that we'll get closure with the others with other books...I can wait for that and look forward to it.
All in all, I am rating this book 4 out of 5 stars. This is hard to put down the story if you have enjoyed the rest of the series. If you muddled through the previous books then you may be more on the fence, but I think that most will enjoy these characters' story ending and have something to look forward to when it comes to the others in the future.

What can I say? Frost has done it again! Incredible world building, incredible ending. If you like to experience a rollercoaster of emotions while reading a book then you need to pick up a book by Frost Kay, you won't regret it. Another aspect I love about Frost's book is that it ties up all the loose ends. I definitely want to read the series now that it's done to experience all these emotions once again in one day.

This has been an epic series, one that I wholeheartedly recommend! This final book was everything it needed to be and so much more. Questions are answered, loose ends tied up beautifully and I will admit this has had me in tears and laughter! Fast paced this conclusion is intense and exciting and I’m very sad to see the series end!

Emotionally devastating and uplifting ride. Beautiful end to an amazing series. There are not many authors who can break your heart then bring you in for a hug to mend it and you still love them, but Frost just has that way about her.

I absolutely LOVE this series and am so sad it has come to an end. I am thrilled that some of the other characters in this series will be getting stories of their own.
Thel and sage finally got their happy ending. They have hated and loved each other fiercely!!
I hope to see more of Sam, Jasmine, Mer, Rafe, Blaise

Aw I'm so sad this series ended!😩 they've all come such a long way🥲
Idk how to feel about Lilja being alive. I'm really happy she is but I felt like we skipped over it. We didn't even get to see lilja and sage reunite what the heck!! The warlord was like oh she's alive so I can use her to control you but then sage just freed her right then and we didn't get any more of that story :/
One other thing that bugged me with these last couple books was I felt like we were being stretched thin on POVs. There were so many characters we were trying to follow that we didn't get to delve deep enough into them. The first 3 or 4 books were mostly Tehl and Sage with a few others sprinkled in So we got their whole story and feelings really well but then the last books we were getting sage and Tehl and Jasmine and Sam and Mira and lilja and Haydjen and Dor and Mer and the warlord... It was getting too much. I did like hearing their perspectives but I think since they were completely different stories that we were trying to follow it made it hard. If we saw their different perspectives of the same situation it would've been way better. For example we were given Mira's perspective about her love life and healing people but it didn't really contribute to the main plot with sage. if we got to see Mira confide in sage or heal sage's inner circle it would've been better. I just wish all the perspectives involved the main plot with sage and Tehl.
Also like half of the last book was about Dor and her backstory and then she barely played a role in this book! We literally didn't get to see anything! Dor and Sage should've crossed paths earlier and had more significance. But Dor showed up at the end and they were like oh hey Nagali princess welcome. It all just seemed kind of rushed at the end
And jasmine! We barely saw her in this book either. Last book had her a lot and we got invested and then she got kidnapped and boom, nothing until the very end when it was tied up. We don't even know anything about what happened to her warriors.

This is the final chapter of Tehls and Sage's story and all I can say is wow! Frost Kay has truly outdone herself with this book. From the very beginning it starts off with the perils of war and continues to draw you in. The author richly described how their war camps looks, to the honest brutality and hardness of war and the implications it can have on the psyche. Every character shows that they are suffering from it with their own unique perspective. This was truly beautifully done. I feel as if each character we have grown to love over the past 5 books have finally came into their own with their own story arcs and have solidified their relationships whilst bonding new ones.
I love the fact that all kingdoms (except the Sirenidae, though some have rebelled and helped) are together fighting the tyranny of the Scythian people and their Warlord, showing no matter their creed they fight for freedom and what is right.
I found the Warlord an interesting and complex person. It would have been so easy to just make him the bad guy and for everyone to hate him. However, what Frost Kay did was more than that; she showed us glimpses of humanity and at times vulnerability. As we learnt before with his backstory of his childhood it is easy to see how he got to this point but it does not condemn his actions. At times he genuinely thought he was doing for what is best however misguided and horrible that may be. The voices in his mind constantly would had caused any sane man mad. I truly do believe he loved Sage in his own twisted way and deep, deep down, she him.
I can't think of anything better than dragons being freed and Leren's roaming wherever they want. This gives an extra magical fantasy feel to the series which I enjoy immensely. Overall, I feel like this was the best work of writing Frost Kay has done. I cannot wait to read the spin offs and getting my dose of all the amazing characters yet to finish their own stories.

This series is deep! Deep in the mind for Sage. Zane has efficiently worked on her, and trying to ultimately escape him has been...difficult. Getting rid of him altogether? Even more so. Frost Kay has made the ultimate villain in Zane, where he has gotten into your head. You love to hate him, but you kind of love him a little bit too. Run away girl!! Tehl is one of the most patient men ever, as he stands by Sage's side and helps her through her struggles with Zane. I truly appreciated the look at what really goes on in with a survivor after the escape/rescue and how people can work together to help one another. Sage did annoy me at the beginning, she came off as very selfish and self-centered, even though she was right about a lot of things, she was very showy. But I think watching her overall arc throughout the series has been very fascinating and she's really grown on me. Tehl was amazing, and I wish every man can be as awesome and patient as him. Sam and Jasmine's story was fun to watch too, Jasmine was also a little annoying and Sam was just amazing...but it was great to see all the stories finish with great endings and satisfying results. I absolutely ADORED the King and I love how he raised his sons. I didn't care for the Dorcus storyline so much, as it has so much detail to start with, but then just ended and shoved into the main storyline. And I'm literally DYING to find out more about Mira and completely heartbroken for Raziel, and I'm in love with Gav too...all these great men!! All in all, great book, it kept me on the edge of my seat, and I was really fascinated with the deep mental issues that weren't just shoved under a blanket. Frost Kay really explores how the mind can be broken and even put back together again!

An epic ending to an epic series
This series has made me cry, rant, rage, laugh, and so much more. To say good bye is bittersweet especially since Sage and Tehl have ensnared me from the very beginning. The world building and story arc of this entire series is mind blowing and oh so good! I loved that Sage and Tehl finally got the happily ever after they deserved and I can't wait to see what comes next. There are so many intriguing characters that I want to know more about but I'll take whatever I can get.
There's so much more I wish I could say but as I write this I've just finished and I'm just too....well I just can't put everything I feel into words.
I loved this book and inhaled it page after page. If you haven't started this series yet do yourself and favor and do it! You won't regret it.

Good Series Completion
This series started strong, finished good. The final books began to feel a bit "plan-as-you-go" as far as the scope of the story. Characters were introduced a bit to "oh yeah, let's add this one too". Maybe that's just how it felt to me. By this final book there were so many characters told from their own POVs, it was a bit much to keep up with. Also, this series ended up continuing quite heavy themes. I had to balance reading these books with more lighthearted books. I certainly don't regret getting pulled into this world and met some great characters. But I felt so bad for most of them! I began to wonder just how much more they could take! Even with all that, the author left me wanting to know more of Mira's story (she's getting her own novella), so I'll be back for that. I do hope that girl gets something happy!
This series started strong, finished good. The final books began to feel a bit "plan-as-you-go" as far as the scope of the story. Characters were introduced a bit to "oh yeah, let's add this one too". Maybe that's just how it felt to me. I’ll use this as a whole series review.
I don’t think I’ll ever recommend these books to anyone. If you are looking for a tropey, primitive, naive quick read, or if you got yourself a Kindle Unlimited subscription, then sure by all means. I admit myself this was amusing and addicting but man that last book pissed me off.
I just realized that after six books, I still can’t tell the female characters apart without the header at the beginning of each chapter announcing the POV, there is ZERO diversity in the book and all the relationships are heteronormative (with the obligatory there is someone for EVERYone!). The villains are just annoying, the characters are bland, the dialogue is cringy, and I have no effing clue what the world looks like because there is NO world building.
Enter at your own peril.

While I have loved this series as a whole, books 5 & 6 ran out of steam for me.
Do you get to see some finality for Sage/Tehl/Warlord? Yes.
Did I feel content about how it played out? Ehhh. I don't think I could propose a better way but it still wasn't satisfying.
The world Kay has created is incredible, the characters she has developed are likeable, and have depth. I think I struggled because I saw all of this growth in both Sage and Tehl in earlier installments in the series and it feels like they have plateaued in some ways for me.
I didn't mind the multiple POVs, but if I'm being honest I wanted to skip certain chapters and get to the views of interest.
Overall, I would definitely read the series again!

I was given an ARC by Frost Kay, all opinions are my own, but I have to say that because I am a huge fan of the series it was an automatic 5 stars for me as soon as I started reading the book. I didn't want it to end, I wanted to keep going. I read all 6 books and spin offs that were released. This book was amazing and although maybe multiple POVs can be confusing. I used to loath it a little bit, but I got used to them and I learned to love every single character that she has introduced in these books. It has been honestly been heartbreaking to let go of them. You get to see Sage's growth in this book, her conquering fears and I felt she was so brave and did amazing. I wish it wasn't the end for this book because I wanted to keep reading!

Perfect ending for Tehl and Sage! I am so sad the series is over, but I couldn’t be happier with how things ended up. I can’t imagine a more evil man than the Warlord. Although, I am grateful for the ability to see all of his sides. Sage is such a powerhouse! I love her tenacity, strength, and loyalty. Tehl is her perfect match and I have loved them from the beginning. I couldn’t put this book down! It was perfectly paced, filled with action, and wonderfully rounded. Also, Raziel is a dreamboat! Boy, does he know how to compliment a woman! Haha. I love this world and feel sad to leave it behind.

What. A. Series - completely thrilling, captivating and
suspenseful, leaving you wanting more each and every
book.
Sage & Tehl's story ends in Court's Fool, giving them
the happiest ending.
Sage, as a character, continually surprised me but I
loved her story. The character could not of been
written any better.
Many surprises came in this read, not wanting to give
spoilers but…expected the unexpected.
I haven't read a fantasy series where the story grows as
much as The Aermian Feuds did, which every single
book involved was better then the last.

An epic conclusion to an epic story!
Finally no more cliffhangers!!! The last book in Sage and Tehl's story is here and it was everything I was hoping for and more. This book mostly focuses on the battle while going back to the capitol to finish up some of the story from Spy's Mask. I cried many times in this book but there are also some great surprises that you never see coming. While this story line is finished and everything is answered Frost leaves some story lines open because she plans on writing other stories in this world. Grab this book and be prepared to be pulled into the battle against the Warlord!

Excellent Ending!
This was such a bitter sweet read for me! I have absolutely loved this series and have been eagerly waiting on this last book! I think it was excellently written and tied up all the loose ends that were there. I loved Sage and Tehl’s story and I loved the other ones that took place as well. I love seeing more of Mira and I look forward to reading the upcoming story on her. I also hope we get to read more about Dorcus and see where her life leads. I think this book was the perfect ending to the series! I look forward to reading this series over and over again in the coming years! Thank you Frost Kay for yet another amazing series! You never disappoint!

Such a great series! I cried and I laughed, felt heartbreak and triumph as I went along this journey with these characters. Some of it was hard to read due to the sensitive subject matter. It could be a trigger for some, but even with the sensitive nature of parts it was very tastefully written. Enough details that you know the depths of depravity happening, but not so much details that I couldn’t continue, or worried I’d have nightmares. Very well done, with the exception of a few minor editing needs. As I read through these books I was constantly filled with gratitude for the blessings in my life, and total awe for those that have lived through similar things.

The Aermian Feuds
This series was filled with the dark, gritty nature of lives at war. Inner demons and outer beasts to slay. There is trauma and growth, so much healing and redemption. The character journies were relatable within this war torn fantasy landscape. I rooted for all the characters throughout. While this last book within this particular story arc was slow in the middle in defeating the big bad, it wrapped up so damn beautifully. I am soo happy to hear there are other stories to come within this world too! While there are triggers of abuse in all the books, there is such a compassionate view of healing after trauma. This series is beautiful in that theme. Truly recommend !

So this might be my first ever 1 star.
This “war” was over done. I mean… good god that took forever. Come on, we all knew Sage was going to go back to the Warlord to help end this. But for it to take the entire book (or 2.5 books really) was a bit much.
My inability to have something unfinished was the only reason I continued this series. I’ve read other Frost Kay books, and I might even read more. But I can’t consciously recommend this to friends knowing how long and rough it is to the conclusion.
I had to make a CONSCIOUS EFFORT to read. When normally I can’t put books down.
I have faith in you FK! This one series won’t scare me away!

What an incredible end...
To an incredible journey. I have cried, screamed and laughed while reading this series. It was so intense and mentally exhausting and so full of emotion. It was truly amazing. I love Sage and Tehl and I am so so sooooo happy they got their happy ever after. Lord knows that woman deserves it for what she’s been through. While I am so sad this series has come to an end, I’m an excited to see what comes next, hopefully more in this world! Thanks for the crazy ride, Frost! ❤️
