3.5 stars rounded up. It’s a fairly fun romp most of the time but there are a lot of things you just gotta take in stride and not look too deeply into them. I’d also take the love ideals in this novel with a grain of salt. As long as I take this book lightly it’s an enjoyable read. I gotta admit I do like my couples being super sticky and I got that in spades in this book. lol A definite guilty pleasure.

BEWARE of SPOILER
This story get so many 5 stars on NU that I decided to give it a try even though it was only 150 chapters translated. The rest, I MTL, knowing that my brain fuse will burn afterward.
Transmigration is when Soul A replace Soul B. What happen to Soul B? Soul B either disintegrate, enter a different body where the soul of that body disintegrate or exchange body with Soul A. Most writers never bother to write further on Soul B. So, most of the soul just disintegrate to avoid future problems. Some readers, including me, think it was cruel as Soul B was abuse in life without HE only to be replace with Soul A which of course will get the HE.
Reborn or rebirth is as what it meant. The soul basically goes back in time and given a second chance in life with the memory intact.
So, what happen when both transmigration and rebirth happen? Well, you'll get Sinister Ex-girlfriend. This novel have it all, written in different arc.
The MC is Su Wan, who can transmigrate to different body each time she succeed a mission. The ML is Su Rui who started to transmigrate after the end of Arc 1. Su Wan have the ability to keep her name in each world while Su Rui have the ability to keep his appearance. So, every time they enter a new world, they'll recognize each other base on this ability. Don't be fool by the surname because they're not related whatsoever. In fact, Su Rui's name change in every world.
The premise of every arc/world was simple. Su Wan's job is to break up the romance between the ML and FL. She will be given the plot and that's it. She have to rely on her own self to come up with a plan to destroy the relationship of said couple. Su Rui's job was to assist Su Wan starting form Arc 2.
The writer wrote each arc in a complicated way that some of them was dead boring. It have so many tag on NU that just by looking at it, you'll know you're in for a ride.
But, I like what a reviewer said. In Arc 1, Su Wan transmigrate as Su Rui's older sister. So, when Su Wan transmigrate into Arc 2, Su Rui went berserk and almost destroy Arc 1. And so, he was recruited by the system to join Su Wan on her mission. Su Rui had a sister-complex or siscon relationship with his sister even before Su Wan replaced her soul. If you can stomach that, then the rest of the arc won't be a problem. Because for the life of me, I don't know whether Su Rui love Su Wan because of her or because of his sister. The writer try to justify it in Arc 1 stating that Su Rui suspected that her sister was not the same person. But, it wasn't fully acknowledge until after Su Rui run amok. So, yeah.

It's one of the best transmigration novel. There are no cliques. The whole concept is new. The author's writing style is good too.
It is a type of story that will never get boring. There are so many story arcs. In novelupdates, someone commented that it was boring and confusing, especially the 2nd story arc. Honestly when I read that same story arc before going to bed, there were literally goosebumps on my arms. If you read the scenarios and imagine it and be a bit patient, then the whole experience will be totally different.
The male lead, Su Rui, is a nutjob. He is a can't-see-anyone-but-Fl type of male lead. Though he is 2D at first, but there is so much character development in the later parts. He goes from obessesion over FL to truly loving her. He is a bit op though. He is not the perfect type of male lead. Don't expect him to be humane either. But overall, he is a good ML that you'd want to have!
The FL, Su Wan, is a strong woman. Her character development is one of the best throughout the novel. She typically plays the role of the ex girlfriend and defeats slag men and white lotuses. There is so much face slapping, but it didn't feel dogblooded. All types of cn novels cliques where we, readers, get frustrated (sometimes over the bastard scum MLs or brain dead FLs) the author did justice for us. If you are familiar with online asian novels then you'd know the feeling, where your standard for ML and FL become decreasingly low with time. After reading this, you'd get back your normal standards.
The love between the ML and FL here is through time and space. Why the ML fell in love with FL may irks you bit, but the thing is the ML wasn't normal on the first place. Only after some arcs did we see his character more down to earth. His character is adorable one. I mean this ML pursued the FL and for that he exerted efforts. He watched dogblooded dramas to take notes about romance, if it is not cute then what is?! ^_^
P.S:
I think the author's one of the favorite genre is mystery. There were some story arcs that were mystery and thriller. But it was written well nonetheless.
I won't deny that there are some plotholes here and there. But it is in tolerable range so it didn't bother me that much.

เป็นนิยายทะลุมิติที่สนุกนะ ชอบ แม้จะมีบางช่วงที่ชวนให้รู้สึกกระอักกระอวน แต่โดยรวมแล้วยังนับว่าอ่านได้เพลินๆ

ชวนขัดใจอยู่เหมือนกัน แต่อ่านไปยิ่งเห็นเธอเปลี่ยนแปลงไปเรื่อยๆ ความรู้สึกเหมือนดูเพื่อนโตมาด้วยกัน เห็นมันเป็นผีบ้าผีบอ เห็นมันอกหัก เห็นมันเข้าโหมดนางร้าย เห็นมันกลับตัวกลับใจ เป็นฝั่งเป็นฝา
เห็นเพื่อนอวดผัวไม่หยุด จนหมันใส้ แต่ก็ปล่อยให้มันอวดแหละ ดีกว่าเห็นมันเศร้านะ555555
เราชอบที่มีเนื้อเรื่องให้ติดตาม ทั้งโลกหลักของพวกเขา และโลกมิติต่างๆ
บทสรุปของเรื่องก็ถือว่าไม่มีอะไรติดค้าง
แต่ใจก็ยังอยากได้ตอนพิเศษของ Xu Ce เพิ่มอีกหน่อย
