Succinct. I liked the highlights and how it focused on her career in terms of accomplishments and success. The photographs used fit the style of the story. I'll definitely let my kiddos read this series.

This is written for kids I suppose. It's only 24 pages long and written in a giant font [rude comment omitted].
One very interesting excerpt is this: italic text: In 2016 she became California's second female African American senator. She fought for rights for immigrants, women and workers.
Immigrants. Um yeah, she seems to have forgotten about that bc she clearly doesn't give a shit now.
This book also says that Kamala Harris wrote a book about her life in 2019. I bet that is an interesting read (pfft!).

For your young students wanting to more about the nominee for vice president, here is an introduction to Kamala Harris through her 2019 presidential run. I appreciated that the book is illustrated with photographs, which I think kids will relate to.
