About the author

Carolee is a passionate writer whose life revolves around creating a world she can revert to when life gets in the way.

She always knew she would be a writer. Her teachers and the school librarian noticed her knack for story telling from an early age. With their encouragement, she continued to allow her imagination to come to life.

She spent most of her adult life dreaming of writing her own novels while working a 9 to 5 job. With determination, she quit her job and now concentrates on writing full time.

Writing is her passion and without it she feels incomplete. Carolee writes from her heart, from her soul.

In addition to writing, there are absolutely four things she cannot live without; chocolate, good ice-cream, cheesecake, and coffee.

I have not read a bad book from this author yet and this book is no exception! The great plot and character development kept me so engaged throughout the entire book that I had a very hard time putting this book down until the very last page was turned!

Diego does come across as a bit odd, some of his actions were shocking. I did warm up to him though because he is really caring and boldly unashamed of his feeling for Nicole, at first sight. I think Nicole is indeed justified in her emotions when first meeting him but I didn't really care for her crass language. Although he may have deserved the name calling, it made it hard for me to believe that she quickly does an about-face and believes in her wish and Diego as her wish come true. I am convinced that Diego loves her, as is, glad they found their happily every after and to have read about wishes being granted. Knocked into Love

This book was extremely entertaining. Nicole meets Diego when his snow mobile goes berserk and almost runs her over. For Diego, it is love at first sight or at least the beginnings of a HEA. Nicole had even made a wish about finding love but she now needs more convincing; Christmas does not hold fond memories for her. The H and h are super cute together. He is trying to make up for pushing his deceased father away and she is running away from match making friends and family. I really love that Diego had a plan for making their relationship work moving forward. Fast paced, humorous, coherent, a very enjoyable story...marred just a bit by some typos and wrong word usage.

Nicole wants nothing more than to spend the holidays away from family and friends. But that is ruined when an accident and a mistake lead her to spend the holiday with a handsome stranger named Diego.

Filled with chemistry, romance and denial this story is perfect for the holidays. Characters are seeking a second chance, something that we all can relate to. Perfect getaway read.

Quick read with a good storyline and great characters. Diego and Nicole were a good couple. They had a few issues when they first met but they were able to work their way through that and it was nice to watch them both get the HEA they wanted and deserved.

A great holiday read!

Do you believe in love at first sight or lust? Diego and Nicole didn’t believe in it. However, one crazy snowmobile and a leap of faith has Diego reconsidering it. Nicole can feel

Potential that was destroyed by lack of editing

Oh good grief, please, please edit. Missing words, incorrect words, along with words in the wrong order just buried this story. When I can forgive the fact that Diego was obsessed with his own genitals and where he wanted to put them to some extent, I just couldn’t get beyond the poor copy. Sorry not sorry.

A winter romance

This was a nice story. Love can be instant if one is open to it. There were too many grammar and editing errors to not detract from the story. There were transitions that cut the previous moment short. It was nice but cut short in a way that doesn't work for 😐

Good book!

I really enjoyed this book! Ms Samuda is great author this not the first book of hers and I was not disappointed. I wish it was a little longer a more in-depth ending. But overall a good book. You will truly enjoy it.

This was okay. Diego was a great guy and at first, I was not fond of Nicole because she was bratty and very immature. She came around mid-way through the story so she was okay. This was an okay read.

Enjoyed this book, great story line. A holiday going wrong, but working out for Diego and Nicole. Stranded in a storm together at his cabin they fall in love and get their happy ever after. Five stars from me.

Nicole rented a cabin for a week of relaxation, little did she know that Diego would literally come crashing into her, throwing her for a loop. Once she reaches the cabin, she finds that Diego is there and that he not only owns the cabin but will be staying there as well. Of course Nicole tries to act as if she isn’t interested, but of course all of that goes out the window. Great story, I skimmed through the sex, but loved the story line. Wish it could have been longer so they could’ve had more time to really get to know each other. Finished it in one setting.

Nicole and Diego was a great couple once they (she) stopped fighting it. I enjoyed the chemistry and the way nothing was rushed they just didn't call I to bed together because they were together. Would recommend.
