A throwaway & a Princess.

Both of us are messed up, both of us pretending.

I’ve played with her, manipulated and bullied her, right up until the moment I realised how much I wanted her.

When I was planning to beg for forgiveness, someone else was planning her demise.

Her crown might have slipped but no one will ever be able to take it away, she’s a Princess, my Princess to the very core.

I’ve spent every moment of the last few years counting down for my freedom, now I want to be caught and bound to her.

Archer’s Creek was where I was forced to come; now it’s the only place I’ve ever wanted to stay.

Can she forgive me or has my past left me beyond redemption?

Valentine and Nova’s tale continues. There is a definite turning point in this story starting from the beginning of book 2. You need to be read this series in order. Book one was a bully romance whereas book two is the redemption. It still has the clever twists and the fixed feeling vibe, but it’s different.

Who is valentine? He’s a troubled kid that much we know, but found helps us understand his motive. I liked his bad-boy ways in book one but this is the story to bring him into your heart.

Nova has the upper hand in the second half of this story for the most part. We see her grow into the person we always thought she could be. She also is going to find her boy.

Found wasn’t what I was expecting, but I was hooked on every little detail. Awesome read. It’s an all-round 5.

*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. My thoughts are my own.

What can I say....I want more.

Found is the conclusion to Hidden, Valentine and Nova's story and cannot be read as a standalone.

Honestly, it didn't feel like two books, I finished one and immediately jumped into the next and was a little sad when I reached the end. I wanted the whole hea, the wedding, the pregnancy, that's how much I didn't want to let go and that's the romantic in me but they are only eighteen for goodness sake, I had to remind myself of that but I do hope to see more of Nova and Valentine in future books.

I loved the whole family feel, it still had the MC kind of feel where family is a priority, no one messes with a Sinner's kid.
I adored the extended characters too and the flawless plot that gave me a smooth ride right up to the end.

A high school romance that was so much more, a bully romance that became so much more, it all switched around in the second book. Questions were answered, my doubts about the character's and their actions were squashed. Valentine had his say more in this book and there was more from his point of view, Valentine went from the huge A-hole in book one to the broken boy you just wanted to wrap your arms around.

"We two are a pair, I'm crazy and he's fucked up; maybe it's our jagged edges that pull us toward each other, maybe it's that were each so frayed and distorted that we fit"

I would definitely recommend this duet, I was glued to my kindle from start to finish. Like I said in my previous review, I have read a lot of books where the kids are from a mafia family and rule the school so to speak, this is my first of this kind were the kids are from an MC and I loved it. Fans of LJ Shen will love this too.

Arc received for review purposes.

Well he did it, he redeemed himself. Found gives us Valentine's back story and his POV on what happened between him and Nova during book one, and while it doesn't make what happened ok, it was good to see the why behind it all. It will take a lot of work for Nova and the rest of the "Scions" to forgive him, but he's certainly not afraid to try, and a big part of that is finding out who hurt Nova in the last book. With plenty of drama and some quite touching moments especially between Valentine, Brandi and Sleaze, I'm glad I read this second part to Valentine and Nova's story arc and that the author didn't let me down with their conclusion. I'm definitely looking forward to the next instalment now and I give Found 4.5 stars.

Needs to be read after Hidden. In Hidden you learn why Nova was the way she was, but in found you learn about Valentine’s past and what caused his actions.
Valentine hated how Nova was appearing untouchable, but now she’s not, everyone thought he did the video, but he didn’t, he never wanted to break her, he needs her to know it wasn’t him.
Nova has a long way to go with what happened and to heal herself, but one thing she knows is Valentine centres her, Nova doesn’t know what it is, she was convinced that it was Valentine but can’t help but wonder what if he didn’t, he looked broken when she said she didn’t believe him. One thing she does know is she wants to regret Valentine, but she can’t, she regrets not knowing what was real and what was fake, some of what they had felt real. The threats he made; she doesn’t know if she can ever move past them.
Valentine knows he has to find out who did the video to get Nova to believe it wasn’t him. Valentine knows what he did to Nova was wrong but he knows he wants her, he knows he has to work through the betrayal and loss he’s been through and be honest about everything to gain her forgiveness and get her back, but will she forgive him, can they move past their hurt.

I HAVE FEELINGS!!!!

If there’s any doubt that Valentine will not only redeem his #eyetwitchy ways but also become a character you root for, squash them, because he does, and he will! #TRUST

I don’t know what I was expecting from this half/conclusion of this story, but I got a lot of #feels! These two kids! Man, what a road they’ve navigated already. They’re only teenagers! I hope that Gemma gives us a glimpse into their future years from now because I could read about them for a long time to come.

I’ve said this before about this author … She has serious talent. She sucked me into a story about young adults. That alone is worthy of praise. I’m not big on reading these age groups because there’s just too much shenanigan drama for my taste, but she doesn’t do that with her stories. She sticks to real life drama. I appreciate that. And she’s good at it!

So yeah, I had feelings thru this entire read. A lot of them. The biggest and most pronounced was hope. I had hope for them. I was rooting for them. It paid off :)

This is the second book following the love story of Nova & Valentine and it is just so God damned adorable!
As with Hidden, I am so totally in love with the way each and every emotion leaps from the pages and smacks you hard in the face. Mostly though I love how much Valentine loves Nova. The way his devotion, his anxiety, his fears have been portrayed really hit me hard and had me welling up many times. The way he unknowingly fixes Nova, Nova's new found ferocity thanks to this rock of a man that then enables her to turn those tables.. My god, it made my heart of ice thaw!

Absolutely fucking perfect in every way!

OMG absolutely epic, this is the 2nd book in the duo and WOW a big turn around in the story.

Valentine i loved to hate him in the 1st book and now i am simply in love with him. His and Nova's chemistry and relationship is something else entirely, i was so enthralled by them that i was on the edge of my seat.

Absolutely amazing secondary character's.

I read both books in the same day, i was so overwhelmed with emotions but i couldn't put the books down and by the end of this book i was in awe of Gemma she is very talented, the plot, the flow of writting just everything is beautifully crafted.

one hell of an emotional journey that i felt right down to my soul.

As I sit here with tears streaming down my face my heart aches from this ending.

In Hidden I really hated Valentine and could so connect with Nova. I understood her and knew how she was feeling.

However found turns all my thoughts completely on their head.
Valentine is an arsehole but he is due to life experiences and this then endears him to you.

I’ve loved some of my favourites popping up!

I feel Brandi & Sleazy deserve their own story being told!

The Doomsday Sinners hold a special place in my heart and I cannot wait for more 💕

Found is Book Two in The Scions Series. This continues the story of Valentine Miller and Nova Stubbs so you should really read the previous book Hidden first to fully understand their story. Nova is feeling hurt from all that has went down. Valentine story is coming through and I addition he realized what he is losing.
I really enjoyed this author’s writing and this series just adds to that enjoyment.

Bittersweet

Now let me explain why i gave that title, it's because the story so sweet that i didn't want it to end but as all good things comes to and end so did this story.
Book 2 had more of the boy's pov which gave us an inside to his side of the story and he definitely had more problems than the girl but it was heartwarming to see the whole crew of family and friends help them through their issues and how they both grew and so did their love.

Sadly this book was a disappointment for me. I have to start by saying that I loved the first book and was eager to continue this story. I also want to say that the writing is very good, without a doubt the author knows her ways around words. My problem is with the story itself, with the rhythm it has and how it completely departs from the previous book.
I knew that the story had to take a different turn after the end of the previous book and that this part would have more Valentine's views to discover his side of the story. And here my problems begin.
I liked that Valentine's story was different from what was expected and not just a boy who always lived in the system, that part seemed interesting to me. My biggest problem is the justification for the initial behavior of him towards Nova, for me it has neither weight, nor sense and it feels forced. The expectation that it reminded him of someone was fine, it was the connection itself, it seemed weak and far-fetched. Like forcing him to connect it with Nova. I think that something simpler here would have been more justified (we already knew that Nova didn't act in the best way at times).
To continue with Valentine's line, another thing that I didn't like is that his character simply seems different, obviously I didn't expect his behavior to be the same for Nova after what happened but since we never had even glimpses of the "real" him in the previous book this radical change in his personality unsettled me. I expected more of a sweet and sassy mix but for me it was just boring and a little lam. I was just thinking "Ok, crawl but mischievously" since that was part of his charm in the last book.
I also liked that they put scenes from the last book from his point of view but these didn't meet my expectations either, I prefert the mystery from Nova's point of view (I don't know if this was, as I said, because his actions seemed hardly justifiable or if they just picked the wrong scenes that allowed to see more of him )

On the other hand, although I appreciate the direction that the author decided to give Nova in treating her condition so seriously and showing us her way with therapy, it seemed to me, I don't know how to put it, perhaps too overexplained? I don't know. At a certain point the first book gave me the impression of being more NA (even though his characters were still in high school) and this feels VERY YA. Which in itself is not a bad thing but I come back to the same thing that it just seem like two totally different stories.

Now focusing on the story, as I said, I was simply not convinced. To start the times slots, everything feels a lot for the time that passed, when the characters say that only 2 weeks have passed since Valentine arrived and without having really seen why there have such strong feelings (not only between Valentine and Nova, also from Valentine and his foster family) I just don't buy it. But well, since you are there, take the opportunity to show me or build that, but not the story take twists and turns in other things that don't build any of the relationships (or at least not deeply).
And don't make me talk about "the mystery of who did that to Nova". This wouldn't have bothered me if they wouldn't have given it so much importance. That is to say, discovering who this person was was everything to Valentine, it was his way of making Nova forgive him as well as his friends and redeem his name. And when they brought it up over and over and over again I started to say "Well, it better be good. Let it be the super revelation, let it be a huge plot-twist . It has to be worth it." And even though since it happened I was clear who it had been, with so much expectation I began to doubt and even wished it was someone unimaginable like Nova's Brother wanting to make her reaction or something. But obviously that didn't happen and it was the only person who could be and so much drama about it seemed like a waste of time.

Since I mentioned Nova's brother, something I had enjoyed in the first book was her relationship whit him and whit the other scions, but in this book it was to much. Don't get me wrong, I still think that Nova's relationship with his whole family is wonderful, but I feel like they over-saturated me and although it's nice to wish having that at a certain point, it seemed unreal to me.

The end felt very lazy for me, after Valentine said over and over again that he needed Nova back he leave and months go by without them seeing each other and that she has to forgive him again when he decides to return (because she looks for him in the first place, I should be said) it was already a lot for a relationship that felt so weak. At this point I didn't understand the fasination of one with the other more than physical attraction and the idealization of the other person in their heads, because to be honest there was no time for them to really get to know each other.

I think I would give the stories of the other characters a chance when their books come out but I don't have high expectations about it.

The Scion Series – two books which are brilliant in their parts, but perfect as a whole.
The second book in the Scion series was everything I was hoping it would be and more. I wanted to like Valentine because I knew he had a story, but I didn’t, I loved the broken boy who was so lost he still sent emails to his dead father and who thought of himself as a ‘throwaway’. Found gave me a true love story too and not simply one between a boy and a girl – this was also a love story between a family and between friends.
“I should have admitted that my past has left me so messed up by the women in my life that I thought manipulating her and controlling her was the best way to have her and not have to be vulnerable.”
Valentine’s past comes out in this book as we hear more from his POV and the sadness and vulnerability he feels are palpable, lifting from the pages and drifting into your heart and all I wanted to do was hug him and tell him everything would be okay. While neither us, as the reader, or the characters in the book can excuse his previous behaviour, Gemma has written something so heartbreaking and real that forgiveness eventually has to be given. It was refreshing to see that he also owned his mistakes and used his past as reasons and not excuses and until almost the end still didn’t believe he was worthy of Nova’s and the rest of the Sinner’s family love.
“I’m just a normal person. I’m just trying to deal with life and being a teenager and staring at me like I’m a freak isn’t helping.”
“I’m not a b*tch I’ve just been pretending to be one for years.”
Nova’s character is much stronger in this book and she has grown and evolved, showing us her increasing strength and acceptance of who she is. I loved the dynamic between her and her family, especially Liv and Echo, and again it was great that we didn’t have a heroine who was broken by her relationships outside that of hers with the hero. Her story was real and common; a teenage girl who simply can’t cope with her anxiety despite having a charmed life.
“We’re only eighteen, too young to be thinking about forever, but right now he feels like my future and if that’s what fate has in mind for us then who am I to argue?”
“I am now and will always be hers and our story is only just beginning.”
As for Nova and Valentine as a couple, I thought they were sweet and endearing with good chemistry. They’re both broken in their own way and are simply meant to be.
“…maybe it’s our jagged edges that pull us toward each other, maybe it’s that we’re each so frayed and distorted that we fit.”
That is my favourite quote from the book and sums up Nova and Valentine perfectly.
Their relationship was paced exactly right once Valentine’s manipulation stopped and I liked that Nova didn’t declare her undying love immediately – she made him work for her forgiveness and to prove he’d changed and I loved the scene when she goes to see him at the school – go Nova!
I’ve always enjoyed Gemma’s books, her writing has improved with each one, but these books are on another level. The dialogue, the narrative, the plot are all indicative of a writer who has honed her craft and hit exactly the right spot in this genre.
Another 5 stars read and I hope I’m right about Zeke and Emmy and we get their book.

This is the second book in the series and Hidden needs to be read first.
Valentine Miller is a foster child that has been taken in by Brandi and Sleaze and has done some terrible things lately to Nova Stubbs. But he knows he did not play a video that shows her breaking down in the gym in front of the entire school. Yet she doesn’t believe him but he is going to do whatever it takes to find out who is responsible.
Nova Stubbs never wanted the popularity that she was given. She would rather hide in the corner but being the daughter of a biker has pushed her out in the open, afraid of her own demons. She believed that Valentine had her best interests deep down and never thought he would do what he has done to her.
As Valentine sets out to prove to Nova that he is innocent, will he ever be able to regain her trust? Can Valentine learn to put his trust in those around him and will Nova learn that she only has to be herself and nobody else?
This was such a great conclusion to Hidden and I hope we get more books about Zeke, Emmy and Griffin!
I was pretty confused in the first book about Valentine and how I felt about him due to how he treated Nova but I did know he was innocent of the video. I was shocked at Valentine’s past and what happened in it. That definitely made me understand so much more about his anger as he really felt unwanted and then when we learn about Bella it made me really understand why he was so hurt. I loved that he slowly began to trust Brandi and Sleaze more about everything that had happened and what he had done and that he really wanted to repair everything.
Nova was an incredible character as we see that “popularity” isn’t what it is cracked out to be and it made her become a person she didn’t know as she was afraid to be herself and show her weaknesses. I loved that so much and think it is so important for girls to understand.
I loved when Nova returned to school that she was surrounded by the people who meant the most to her and that they were not going to let her down. I wasn’t really shocked at what Brit said to her but at the same time I was. I loved that gradually more people came to support Nova and she was able to be herself. I loved when Nova finally stood up for herself!
I was sad and happy when Valentine gave Nova his file so she could read what he had gone through as it showed a level of trust but the letter Valentine received was heartbreaking in itself.
I was mad at Valentine towards the end for his actions as he had finally got the “family” he needed but he did something selfish instead. I wasn’t surprised at what Nova did and I was super happy with Valentine’s actions at the every end!!

Found
Book 2 of The Scion Series
By Gemma Weir

Some things that are hidden, are meant to be found.

“I’m home, humiliated, terrified that I’m crazy, and everyone knows. My family, my friends, the entire school; they all saw me at my weakest.”

Nova spent way too many years hiding her anxiety from the world, her family and friends. A tragic event brings Nova’s struggles to light, and she’s thrown from a throne she’s never wanted. With her Doomsday Sinners friends and family, Nova tries to win back her life, overcome her fears, and just be herself. Not the person everyone expects her to be. Valentine is also fighting a battle he’s not sure he’ll win. Definitely not alone. He needs to believe in love and trust again, and he needs to allow the Doomsday Sinners into his life. But how? How will Nova and Valentine ever silence the voices?

“I’m in my home: the place I feel safest, the place I am always myself and never have to hide. I’m surrounded by my family, by all the support I could ever want, and yet, I still want him. What’s wrong with me? I’m mad at him, I really am. I don’t trust him. I still don’t entirely believe that his motives are pure, but I just don’t seem to be able to quit him.”

I CANNOT give enough praise to Gemma for writing Found. This book touched me in so many ways, and evoked so many emotions from me. Bullying and anxiety are real. They need to be talked about. Gemma is helping the readers realize these scenarios are real, and they affect everyone that deals with them. The characters in Found, all have their own role, adding so much to this amazing story. Please read Hidden by Gemma Weir before you give Found your full attention.

“Broken.
Indulged.
Princess.
All of these words have been used to describe me. But my favorite way of being described is simple. I’m his. He found me and he’s keeping me and I’m keeping him too.”

Found by Gemma Weir is the second book in the Scions series. You definitely have to read them in order! I liked this Found better than Hidden. I think this is because I knew more going in than I did with Hidden.

Hidden was in Nova’s point of view whereas Found is in both Valentine’s and Nova’s. You also get Valentine’s backstory and what made him act the way he does. He has had a terrible few years. I wouldn’t wish what he went through to my worst enemy.

Found picks up right where Hidden left off, the last scene in Hidden, only in Valentine’s point of view.

Valentine has had to learn the hard way to not trust or believe people, so when he is dropped into this family who wants to love him and treat him as their own, he doesn’t handle it well to say the least. While trying to heal from the last 3 years of pain and suffering, he tries to earn Nova’s forgiveness. But in order to do that he must go through the men in her life, her father, brother, and MC cousin. He also must find the culprit that sent out the video that blasted Nova’s breakdown to the entire school.

Will he be able to accomplish it all? Will he overcome his past and heal his heart? Will Nova forgive him for all the agony he has caused? You will know by the end of the book. No cliffhanger here!!

Way to go Gemma Weir. Even though I didn’t love the first one, you made up for it with this one!!

HOLY HELL! I did NOT see this conclusion coming to be honest. I'm a newer fan girl of the very talented Gemma Weir, but it really hasn't taken long for me to realize that she's very addictive, no matter the age group in any of her stories. And The Scions Duet deals with High School age, which is not usually the age group that I prefer being the age that I am. But let me say what I need to say first. See, Found is the conclusion in The Scions Duet, so YOU MUST READ Hidden (Book 1) FIRST. And I'm telling you that they are night & day. Hidden was more the torture of a bully story, while Found gives us the backstory & POV of said bully. Valentine truly believes he's the throwaway, while Nova is a princess, and his inner monologue definitely helped me start the forgiveness process, because I wanted to hurt him badly after Book 1. This story definitely went in a direction that I wasn't expecting to be honest, and frankly, that's a great thing because I love some surprise wonder in my stories and/or conclusions. Before I started Found, I wanted Nova to badly find anyone else to make her happy, but the heart wants what the heart wants, even if we don't fully understand it. So, I'm going to keep this review light & polite, because everyone needs to just one click it themselves to find out all the details, and how it all panned out. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This book was intense, I thought book one was. I thought what Nova went through
Was horrible and very painful to read, but what Valentine went through was just plain crazy. That sad part is children go through this every day. My heart broke for him. How do you trust people? How do you move forward? Nova and her family worked together to help Nova and to be there for Valentine. What's going to happen? Thank you United Indie Book blog for allowing me to read this book.

Merged review:

Nova and Valentines story continues right from where Hidden left off.. Packed full of Jealousy, Betrayal, Hurt, Loyalty and Trust we find ourselves back on this emotional rollercoaster. Nova goes through the mill and finally accepts she needs hep to overcome everyday life . I’m please everyone saw how vital this help was and they all rallied round her and we found just how big her support network was.. Valentine has more issues than we realised and I was pleased when he finally confronted them. Both if their story’s broke my heart and I read with baited breathe to find out whether they would get the ending they both deserved... I loved their whole journey even if it did break my heart.

Valentine and Nova's story continues in the second book and it's also the conclusion to this duet series but man what an ending it is. Heartbreak and love are so near each other; and sides will have to be taken! You don't want to miss this!

Nova is left devastated and doesn't know what to do anymore. It feels like everything around her is collapsing in a heap and she just doesn't know how to break away from it all. With a betrayal happening right in front of her, she'll have to be the one to pick herself right back up. But even with a strong family around her, she and Valentine couldn't be further apart with what has happened and although they are trying to pick up the pieces, it's hard to move on. Valentine will do whatever it takes to make amends and find out the truth! But will Nova be able to put the past behind her and trust again after she learns the heartbreaking truth?... And will she be strong enough to deal with the aftermath? But more importantly, will Valentine and Nova be able to have the happy ending they both deserve?...

Ok so this was part 2 of a duet and i devoured it. Found is such an emotional rollercoaster that you forget your reading a story instead you see it playing out in your mind. The 2 books have made me laugh and cry so much.
Found focuses more Valintine Miller's POV so we get his back story which was much needed after the first book.

Valintine Miller is a screwed up "throwaway" as he call it he is in the system of the the state and due to bad experience he trusts no one. He wont allow himself to get close to anyone so acts out instead. How many chances will she give him.

Nova Stubbs a badass bitch but after being outted on video having a meltdown at school the only person who centers her is him. The one she shouldn't want. His a bad boy does mean stupid things to her but her heart cant seem to let him go.
The heart doesn't always follow the brain.

Gemma i love you but you have to stop making me ugly cry 😆

Book 1 was good! Book 2 blew me away!

Whilst book one was filled with my utmost dislike for Valentine. I could not get my head around him and wasn’t sure how he could possibly redeem himself. But as we learnt more and more about him, his character, his past, the more and more I felt for him.

I loved Nova in book 2 and loved how she found herself in this story. I loved how bu the end of this boom I really felt like these two could conquer anything! Still plenty of drama and excitement throughout Found which meant I could not stop reading until the very end! And the secondary characters are everything... love the Doomsday Sinners and can’t wait for more!

This duet as a whole is beautiful. Such a special story and I honestly believe this is Gemma’s best writing to date. Her ability to craft a story just gets better and better and this duet is up there with my favourites!

I’m so very lucky ! I got the second part of this duet and as quickly as I finished the first I started and finished the second !

This story picks up right from where the last book left of ! And the story continues !

What I loved about this part of the duet, was that we learnt hell of a lot about Valentine, with flashbacks and memories throughout the book ! As well as watching and seeing Nova grow in character with her family around her.

More that that I loved the characters ! All of them and their love for one another as a family not through blood but by choice (well some of them)

Zeke, Emmy, Griffin and the twins ! All played their role perfectly, to the point I want and need more !

5 Stars

P.S I’m now off to find the parents books ! To read up on how they got together !

So glad there was a continuation - I had so many questions, all were answered of course, with a fantastic story line too.

At the end of Book 1, Nova has been tricked and she hits the ground, with only her brother Zeke, and best friend Emmy and her brother Griffen to protect her, she is cocooned by her family - they all hold Valentine (the foster kid) responsible. He is just caught up in the drama of school, but he has fallen for the Princess - she has this remarkable hold on him - but he was a jerk. When someone plays a terrible trick on Nova, they ALL blame him - but, he is innocent - he vows to find out who is responsible.

He also has to prove himself worthy of Nova herself. He must deal with his past; his mother's betrayal, his father's death - but he definitely has to deal with Bella and her huge betrayal!!!

OMG! This book is just asking to be read. Two young kids thinking they will loose everything and everyone for just being REAL. Anxiety pulls one as Depression takes hold of the other. With failures and a heavy mind will these two be able to pull through the hell that plays with their hearts and minds. Acceptance is new for both and acknowledgement is needed. Both will need to realize that family will always back you. Going through this book you will require tissues, just saying. I have never read a book so down to earth that hits home for so many. So thank you Gemma I enjoyed every page and can’t wait to see what is coming next. So everyone else grab your copy and enjoy the ride of the next Generation.

It’s ended, I can’t believe it’s ended!

I’m at a loss for words right now, this story, this series....it blew me away. The emotions, the feels.....I just loved everything about it.

From the minute I started book one, I fell in love with the characters and I continued to love them so much more in book two. Nova and Valentine are amazing and the struggles these two go through to be together is heartbreaking at times to read.

My emotions were all over the place reading this story, I felt such heartbreak for Valentine at times, to the point I had tears welling in my eyes.

Gemma has produce not only a fantastic story but an even better series and one that I think I love the most off her books. Definitely hands down a 5 ⭐️ read and I can’t wait for more in this series.

The second part of the duet deals with Valentines backstory and what brings him to be like he is. I'm afraid this just didn't grip me in the way the first part did. I didn't feel invested enough in his previous relationship to feel the effect in full force of having that pulled from under him.

Also, I really really hate super romantic/cheesy parts and the 'once upon a time there was a kid' part was just too much for me. Valentine handed in his man card and I want to barf.

4 stars for most of it, and 1 for the cheesefest.

Sorry I love you Gem, but even friends and family get warts and all reviews from me.

This is the conclusion of Nova and Valentine story and I am just going to say WOW!!! The story didn’t disappoint and kept me captivated from the beginning. This book more concentrates on Valentine and how his past shaped his present. I am impressed with this author because she actually made me ugly cry which is hard to do. I mean I may cry over a story but not ugly, snot coming down my face cry. We are thrown back onto the emotional rollercoaster of jealousy, betrayal, lies hurt then trust and loyalty. I love their journey to be together. I highly recommend this book!!! I can’t wait to see what this author has in store for us next!
