Two young people got together when their dates broke up with them before the prom. They dated before they went in the service. They agreed to wait 10 years while they were in the service to see if they still wanted to see each other when they got out. When John got injured and was discharged, he didn't contact anyone. Sweet love story. HEA

Sweet, cozy, a tiny bit naughty and totally tropey; what’s not to love?

Author, Tamara Ferguson, does something special in TWO HEARTS HOME FOR CHRISTMAS, book 10 in her Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance series. There are two timelines but they don’t dual.

At the start of this holiday adjacent story, the young couple are in high school and deeply in love. They are quite mature for their age and realize that remaining celibate and single makes the most sense as they’re headed into different branches of the military and destined to different geographical locations. On separation, they agree to meet at a special hotel during Christmas in 10 years, if they’re unattached and interested; fade to black…

Ten years later, both members of this couple have become Wounded Warriors, to different degrees. They’re also both single and still thinking about the other. C’mon! Did you honestly think it would play any other way?!? With help from some secondary characters and a few heart wrenching details about the 10 year separation, our couple finds their way to the HEA you knew was coming but will love just the same📚

Boys meet girls...

Boy asks
Boys ask girls to Christmas dance. Boy jilts girl and girl jilts boy. Jilted boy has an idea...he has always liked the jilted girl. He goes to her house and suggests they go to the dance together. He's so gentlemanly, her mother is impressed and the girl gets dressed up again. & they go. They discover both of them are "military brats." His dad is an Army colonel, hers, an Air Force colonel. Both are enlisting straight out of high school. His mom is a dance instrctor considering restarting classes. He loves to cook. His dad, as well as hers, are involved in thr wounded warrior project. He has younger twin sisters & a frazzled mom since they're always getting into trouble, and not one neighbor has visited her. When her mom hears that, she sets out to rectiyfy it. At the Christmas danse, he shows her a coiple dance moves and she promises to follow his lead, and ends up dancing like she never has before. They do this a few more times & end up homecoming king & queen. They decide to hang out together the rest of the year, but soon realize they'll have to break up to pursue their goals. He wants to be a Ranger, which is a moch longer career path. I can't recall what she wants. They agree if both are not in a serious relationship, they'll meet ar Dragonfly Point in 10 years.
Ten years indeed changes rhings. He is a wounded warrior...he hjas a slightly above the knee amputarion and prosthetic. She has a shoulder injury...twice. He sunk into adeep depression and refused to see anyone including family. Now, he's teaching cooking classes. She's not sure what she'll do yet. The twins manage to get them in adjoinung suites. They catch up, clear a few things up, and live happily ever after.

Two Hearts Home For Christmas

Another great book in this series. It has been a pleasure to read these stories and learn how the war Heros lived their lives after the war. Some were injured and some were suffering from the nightmare of memories of what took place. This book talks of how 2 people started their lives as friends and then found each other after ten years. This was a great book to read and this is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill

A Christmas reunion at the Dragonfly Point Inn

The infamous Dragonfly Point had already worked its magic on the fates of Nancy and John. These high school seniors however made the grave decision upon graduation to break up in order to fulfill their respective dreams to join separate branches of the military; the Air Force and Army. Learn of their high school romance and the resulting future for Nancy, John and their families.

Beautiful

What a great story about true love. Nancy & John met their senior year in high school and fell in love but both of them had made decisions to join the military. She the Air Force like her parents , and him the Army like his dad. They made a promise to each other that if it was meant to be in 10 years they would meet and try.

Such a wonderful story of hope

I read this book in a couple of hours and warm good feeling. I have to say it has been a long time since a story has left me with that warm feeling. I kind of which more was told of the rebuilding oh Nancy and John's life together. I would have enjoyed a longer stay in their lives and have the book bring out more on Wounded Warrior programs.

She is going o be a pilot in the Air Force and he will be a Ranger in the Army. What will they do when they fall in love. I so enjoyed reading this story about a love that lasts through ten years to a reunion and wounds that two people endure. I'm going to start reading this series from book 1 and see what I find.

Great book!

This is the second book I've read in this setting. Both delightful. They are kind of heartbreaking in way, when I think of all the veteran s who don't get help. But I like to think that there are programs like these somewhere helping our heroes. Thank you to all our servicemen and servicewomen for your courage and service. God Bless.

This story is a quick read, but so full of good feels. I love how John and Nancy met and how quickly they hit it off. Though their future aspirations drove them apart physically, their hearts never parted.
