Nancy Caldwell and John Ehrlich dated and became close friends their senior year of high school, but they both had plans for their future. John wanted a career in the Army and Nancy was headed for the Air Force. They parted as friends with a promise to meet again at Dragonfly Point in ten years if they were both single.
Ten years later they are both wounded warriors and are Two Hearts Home for Christmas and with the help of John's two twin younger sisters they meet again...
Two young people got together when their dates broke up with them before the prom. They dated before they went in the service. They agreed to wait 10 years while they were in the service to see if they still wanted to see each other when they got out. When John got injured and was discharged, he didn't contact anyone. Sweet love story. HEA
Sweet, cozy, a tiny bit naughty and totally tropey; what’s not to love?
Author, Tamara Ferguson, does something special in TWO HEARTS HOME FOR CHRISTMAS, book 10 in her Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance series. There are two timelines but they don’t dual.
At the start of this holiday adjacent story, the young couple are in high school and deeply in love. They are quite mature for their age and realize that remaining celibate and single makes the most sense as they’re headed into different branches of the military and destined to different geographical locations. On separation, they agree to meet at a special hotel during Christmas in 10 years, if they’re unattached and interested; fade to black…
Ten years later, both members of this couple have become Wounded Warriors, to different degrees. They’re also both single and still thinking about the other. C’mon! Did you honestly think it would play any other way?!? With help from some secondary characters and a few heart wrenching details about the 10 year separation, our couple finds their way to the HEA you knew was coming but will love just the same📚
I really liked the story. It is a quick read. John and Nancy meet in high school. Both from families that were in 2 branches of the service. Both knowing they were going into the family perspective branches. However they both feel in love. Went there separate ways until ......... Read it and enjoy
John and Nancy's story started on the night of the Christmas Dance when they both got dumped. John decided he wasn't going to let two selfish people ruin the night. They both have plans to join the military John going into the army and Nancy into the air force. They agree to wait an years and meet back at he Dragonfly Inn if they are still single

They catch up, clear a few things up, and live happily ever after.
I am enjoying reading these books They are stand alone, but would be better read in order. This was a sweet story about finding love as a teenager and it enduring through hardships and finding each other again.
Another great book in this series. It has been a pleasure to read these stories and learn how the war Heros lived their lives after the war. Some were injured and some were suffering from the nightmare of memories of what took place. This book talks of how 2 people started their lives as friends and then found each other after ten years. This was a great book to read and this is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill
The infamous Dragonfly Point had already worked its magic on the fates of Nancy and John. These high school seniors however made the grave decision upon graduation to break up in order to fulfill their respective dreams to join separate branches of the military; the Air Force and Army. Learn of their high school romance and the resulting future for Nancy, John and their families.
What a great story about true love. Nancy & John met their senior year in high school and fell in love but both of them had made decisions to join the military. She the Air Force like her parents , and him the Army like his dad. They made a promise to each other that if it was meant to be in 10 years they would meet and try.
I read this book in a couple of hours and warm good feeling. I have to say it has been a long time since a story has left me with that warm feeling. I kind of which more was told of the rebuilding oh Nancy and John's life together. I would have enjoyed a longer stay in their lives and have the book bring out more on Wounded Warrior programs.
She is going o be a pilot in the Air Force and he will be a Ranger in the Army. What will they do when they fall in love. I so enjoyed reading this story about a love that lasts through ten years to a reunion and wounds that two people endure. I'm going to start reading this series from book 1 and see what I find.
This is the second book I've read in this setting. Both delightful. They are kind of heartbreaking in way, when I think of all the veteran s who don't get help. But I like to think that there are programs like these somewhere helping our heroes. Thank you to all our servicemen and servicewomen for your courage and service. God Bless.
This story begins in high school for the main charachters who were jilted and came together to forge a strong friendship. Their career choices take them on different paths and they make a pact for 10 years in the future.
I really enjoyed reading this story. Such a light read with a sweet love story in between the pages. If you enjoy romance and true love you will enjoy this book. I hope to read more from this author.
Oh my , this book is so well written, that I wanted it to go on for a long time ! Ms Fergerson really knows how to get to your heart . So good I want to hold on to the feelings.!
This story is a quick read, but so full of good feels. I love how John and Nancy met and how quickly they hit it off. Though their future aspirations drove them apart physically, their hearts never parted.
Perfect for A Christmas read I love this series from Tamara. And usually find Christmas novels too much but not this one. Beautifully balanced a magical romance.
This story starts when they are in high school. They make a promise to each other, that if I'm ten years they are still single they will reunite. Can they make it?
