IF YOU ARE GREEDY YOU WILL CREATE A PIZZA BLACK HOLE! Then we will all be without pizza! Please remember this...very important! I don't want you to have to answer for this! A fun book that is sure to make you smile! Sometimes it is great to let a book just take you to 'sillyville' and stay there for a much needed mental vacation.

Scheele takes what could be a dull trope (a common phrase taken LITERALLY! To hilarious extremes that aren't really extremes!) and pushes it beyond what any sane picture book writer would do and it's, well...PERFECT (if not a bit frightening in its implications--are dad and kid the ONLY survivors of the previous non-pizza universe? Good thing they're up for an adventure!)

Wonderfully Quirky

The author is a Tik Tok creator I really enjoy for his out of the box ideas (he built a centaur on a bicycle built for 2). This book is the same idea for kids. It explores what “everything” actually means.... my only criticism would be the text is printed too small to hold the book away from you while reading to a class, luckily I purchased it on kindle and the text zoom feature does work and helps a lot. I’m looking forward to more book by him!

"Give me a pizza with EVERYTHING on it."

A kid wants his dad to give him a pizza with everything on it, and when he says everything, he means everything. All the usual cheeses and toppings, of course, but pickles, too, and even an entire turkey. The two continue you on to add a doghouse and a treehouse and even the White House...on and on, until something goes wrong.

I like books that surprise me and take me places I didn't expect, and that's exactly what A Pizza with Everything did.

Okay this was hilarious. But leaves me with so many questions - only one of them “but how did dad get his hands on a particle accelerator?”

I’m slightly disturbed by the fact that dad and son accidentally create an entirely new pizza universe, and potentially eliminated the universe they originally came from?

Either way, hilarious to read aloud.

This year the students chose Llama destroys the world as their Washington State Children's Choice (picture book award). I wonder what they would think of this book? I am sure they would love it and get a "crack" out of it. Har dee har har. For those of you who think pineapple or candy corn do not belong on pizza - this book will stretch your imagination. TW: you will want pizza.

*I received a free review copy of this book from the publisher*

This is a cute book and I really liked the illustrations. I found it to be silly but clever and I think it will make a good read aloud. I can also see some fun art extensions.

Be sure to peek at the end papers and the undies.

Looking for a pizza with everything? And we do mean EVERYTHING here. This quirky little book has just the right elements of silliness and randomness. It's an excellent father son book with just the right illustrations to match.

Since his dad owns a pizza shop, this boy wants to try a pizza with everything on it including an ice cream cone, a rolling pin, a bicycle and even a real house! What could go wrong?! Follow them on their pizza adventures as they venture into the pizza galaxy!

This is such a fun story and is a perfect read for any pizza loving kiddos out there!

The publisher shared this book with me in exchange for my honest review.

I really enjoyed the book (off the authors tik tok) and will be looking forward to gifting it to one of my family friends kids! I thought the story was quite captivating but simplistic with the basic foundation of repetition that helps build younger kids reading skills! All in all sure to be a classroom and child favorite!

I am unaware of who recommended this book be added to our library's collection. In a nutshell, "I don't get it."

The only reason I would steer someone toward this title would be its "science fiction"-like genre. (You'd be surprised how many students are assigned that task, as well as the lack of picture books that generally meet the criteria.)

A Pizza With Everything on It gets outrageous quickly. When your dad owns a pizza shop you can have any type of pizza. The boy wants EVERYTHING! This include apples, chips, eggs, ice cream cones, pencils, paper, a house, a dog house, the Whitehouse, a particle accelerator, penguins. Then something terrible happens. A pizza black hole opens. How will they ever get out?

This story is fun, outrageous, and unexpected. The abstract concept of pretending to put random objects on pizza was to much for younger readers.

Dad owns a pizza shop. When dad asked what he was hungry for. He said a pizza with everything on it. Dad questioned everything? Yes. Dad tossed the dough, and I stirred the sauce. Next was the cheese. Then the basics even mushrooms. Perfect, not yet still ingredients were missing. Groceries were added with an entire turkey. Not everything yet. A rolling pin, hat, blender, tables and chairs, bookbag contents. Dad said we’re going to have to make it outside. Then a bike, tree, a real house and the white house were added to the pizza. The crust could not bear and it was going to be bad. With a pop and crunch, the pizza collapsed. A black hole formed. The universe exploded as the pizza galaxy folded into the solar system. Going over pizza earth back to the pizza shop. We shared the perfect slice of pizza.

A boy wants a pizza with everything— not just pizza toppings but literally everything.

A boy and his father make a pizza. The boy wants everything on it. This quickly escalates from actual pizza toppings to kitchen equipment to physical structures and people, which

This is a comical story that warns against about taking things to extremes. It has similarities to Llama Destroys the World.

A mustached man owns a 🍕pizza parlor and his imaginative son requests "a pizza with everything on it". After preparing a simple yet delicious looking 🧀 pie together, the boy wants MORE. When he says everything he means Everything!

🚽🍗🌵👓🦔📱🏀🥔🌂🥒
📕🔨🚗🌭⏰🛁🍍🪑🪱🫖

His dad willingly plays along. Well over capacity, the enormous crust is engulfed into a pizza 🕳️ black hole. After a big bang and explosion of pizza toppings the universe as they know it has been pizza-zazed!

My son likes to take this one to bed and read it independently before he falls asleep. It's a super fun and silly🐧story of father and son brewing up a ridiculous 🌀 adventure together. And honestly, it makes me a little hungry. Don't miss the awesome hidden cover!

Father and son have a penchant for pizza in all its shapes and sizes. When both make their way to dad's pizza shop, the young boy claims that he wants to create a pizza with everything on it. At first, we're talking different types of food toppings but soon we're talking toilets, basketballs, penguins and even colossal statues...the pizza grows so big that it creates a black hole and alternate world where everything is pizza!

Dad and son are a perfect match absolutely glorifying in this new chaotically cheesy world they have created. Relish* in the meta of a new pizza world where houses are made from mushrooms and swimming pools are cheesy. Glorious nonsense.

*sorry!

I read this book with my kids for PI Day. If you don't know what PI Day is it's March 14th or 3.14. We usually have pot pie and some pie for the day for a meal. So of course we did that again. Sometimes we have a pizza pie. So when I saw this book, I knew that we needed to check out this book to read for PI Day. The illustrations in this book are so colorful and really grab the readers attention to the story. The story-line is cute and really funny. There is not every day that you add bicycles to your pizza. This is a cute book that will leave your kids giggling. I recommend checking this unique book out.

This is a charming story of a father and his son on a wild pizza-inspired adventure that nearly destroys the universe. I loved the sweet, earnest relationship between the father and son, the plot is just kooky enough without going over the top, and the drawings avoid the temptation of being overly twee and instead are just flat out sweet and charming. Oh, and I loved the wheelbarrow full of penguins and the particle accelerator.

How do you like your pizza? Do you ever order it with "everything"? You might look at that phrase a bit differently after you read this outrageously fun story!
My favorite 5-year-old and I really enjoyed this! I think it would make a fun read-aloud for older kids but it's also a great book to read with just one or two because there is so much detail in the illustrations. Plus it makes you think about language. What would you put on an everything pizza?
