This book provides a holistic understanding of the region and the conflict. The most striking feature of this book is that we get a completely unbiased account of the politics of the region. This one is really a must read for everyone who wishes to study Jammu and Kashmir. Of all the books that I have read about Kashmir, this one remains my all time favourite!
